“I usually don’t write reviews but I definitely had to make an exception today. I ordered on Uber eats and the food arrived in under 45 min which is pretty typical. I ordered a catfish dinner with black-eyed peas and cabbage, and also the fried chicken leg Quarter sandwich. It was fresh, hot and seasoned to perfection. They also included a piece of cake as dessert for free hot sauce, tartar sauce, and ketchup were also provided without request. I will definitely order again.“

“Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“Checked out Crab Du Jour in Lumberton last night and it was excellent. It seems like a chain as there are a few around, but most likely franchised. I was hesitant to try them because reviews on google were very mixed, and there's nothing worse than seafood that isn't fresh. I am so glad we did.This is one of those cajun style steamer bag seafood places. The Lumberton location is an "xpress" and primarily takeout, but there are a handful of booths for eating in. Decorated in a cute nautical theme with fishing nets, old license plates, anchors etc. A sweet older Asian couple were running the place. The place was impeccably clean, both the storefront area and what I could see of the kitchen in the back, always a good sign.We opted to eat our food there while it was hot and fresh. We ordered 3 create your own combos, select your seafood, sauce, and spice level. We all went with garlic butter sauce. We did 1 LB of spicy snow crab legs, 1LB mild crab legs, and a mixed bag 1/2 LB lobster tail and 1/2 LB scallops. Each bag included a couple red potatoes and 2 half ears of corn.Crabs were cooked perfectly, juicy, slid right out of the shells and the sauce was super flavorful. We liked the spicy version a bit better and would probably ask to mix garlic butter and old bay in the future. But the lobster and scallops? BOYYYYY. Let me just say I NEVER order these items out because I find them consistently disappointing. Scallops are always small, both tend to be overcooked and lacking flavor. That was not the case! There were 6 huuuuge scallops, again perfectly cooked. Even drenched in the garlic butter you could still taste that unique clean sweetness of a quality sea scallop. And this was genuinely the best lobster tail I've ever had. So so tender, none of the overcooked chewy lobster business here. Potatoes and corn were also good, definitely using fresh ears of corn not frozen. We also had a side of fries, which were they type with a very light tempura like batter. Hot and crispy, would get those again too.We washed it down with a variety of specialty Asian teas and sodas they sell in the beverage case. Food was served with a bucket for shells , a pair of gloves each, and a full package of baby wipes ? Both the lady at the counter and the man cooking checked on us several times. They were very kind, there is a slight language barrier so be patient when ordering please!Overall 10/10. Highly recommend this place, especially for enjoying a mess-free seafood boil on the patio at home in the coming months.“

“The calamari was the best I have ever eaten as well as the 10 Oz filet mignonette. The mashed potatoes were delicious. My only complaint was the Caesar salad. The 5 of us were extremely disappointed with the Caesar salad. We all would have preferred a creamy homemade dressing. One person wouldn’t eat it. All of us left it over. It should not be served at your up class restaurant! I would expect a creamy homemade dressing. Also I was still eating my salad when the busser grabbed my salad because my filet had arrived. The bread was delicious but I would have liked the brown bread without raisins!“

“I went there the other night to celebrate my husbands Birthday. It was our first time there and when I tell you this place did not disappoint! The food was Delicious. The Service was the absolute Best. Our Waitress Samantha was So nice and personable. I gave her a nice tip the first time and I went back in my purse to give her more. “I was craving seafood this past Sunday, I wanted to find a place that my friend and I could go to with a laid-back atmosphere and good food. We do have a seafood place in our neighborhood however, I wanted something different, so I started googling. I came upon Benny The Bums, and noticed my sister had visited 6 years ago and left a good review. ( She is very particular about her seafood she loves seafood) I was willing to give it a try based off her review, it was about a 35-minute drive from us, we walked in we were greedy immediately with a smile, and escorted to our table. Will be given two cups of water, our drink order and appetizers were taken. (It was so difficult for us to choose our appetizer because they had so many yummy options ? we wanted everything. However he got the calamari, the spicy wings and I got the Crab Balls. For our entry we both got the snow crab leg pot. We looked so greedy but the food was so good. The crabs were not overcooked or undercooked they were flavored to perfection. They offer sweet potato fries with caramel on the side. (Never had them that way loved it I am a sweet potato eating individual. The price you pay is definitely worth it considering how food prices have been up. We can't wait to visit again.“

I often order uncooked fish to go, but this week my dad had breaded shrimp with onion rings and fries for lunch. He said the fries were very good, but shrimp was overcooked. From the set up, to the delicious food to the Special service we received. I highly recommend Bacio Kitchen for small parties on premise and definitely recommend for larger offsite. “Celebrated my son’s 21st Birthday here with about 30 of his friends and family. We had a big section of the deck to ourselves. They had plenty of different options to fit our needs. We had a great time, everyone raved how good the food was and our server kept the drinks coming! It was a perfect way to celebrate!“

Most complaints are typically geared towards their hours- this isn’t a restaurant per say but a fine deli. Usually their hours are until 6pm, they do take phone orders, so if you can get there before 6 it’s definitely worth it.

Now to the food….

Crab Cakes - their specialty, their fame.. absolutely delicious, fresh crab meat , no fishy taste or odor ?. Generous heaping of crab meat, fried fresh ate within minutes. You really can’t compare these to frozen ones, as those are usually filled with bread.

Stuffed chicken was delicious, nice crisp, not as much chicken but good mix of stuffing of veggies spinach, artichoke , the side gravy definitely enhances the flavor.

Mac n cheese was good creamy , great add-on to my lunch meal.

Most Food is cold and raw , they will fry and heat food on your behalf, but this can take 10-15 minutes. Keep that in mind if your on a tight schedule, order ahead.

Staff was absolutely friendly, definitely hard workers, giving the brand a positive view!

But I was quickly relieved when I asked a young lady walking by if the place was still open. She assured me it was and said it would be busier a little later. I was greeted and seated in a requested booth in less than five minutes. I was there to memorialize what would have been my 30th wedding anniversary. Lois attended my table and she made for a most pleasant visit. She checked on me several times throughout the meal.
