“I love this place. At least twice a year or more, I travel from Maryland to EC for the best homecooking. The fish selection is excellent and they will cook the fish. The variety of foods is great. The service is wonderful. I always make an extremely large order to take back with me to Maryland. The red snapper, sweet potatoe pie and peach cobbler are my favorites. My mom loves the Ling Ling, collards, and mac n cheese. My son loves everything on the menu. Our only problem is we tend to eat about half the order or more before we reach home.“

“Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“My first time here at Eddie V’s, I went to celebrate my Birthday and they really rolled out the red carpet! Everyone made my birthday so special starting with the bartender Hannah who is so sweet and made the best strawberry mango martini. Our waiter Michael was the absolute best! I was greeted at the table with a handmade birthday card done by the Hostess! The food was fantastic, even the managers came over to wish me a happy birthday! It was truly the best dinner experience I ever had! Kudos to everyone at Eddie V’s in Cherry Hill“

“My wife and I were visiting the area for the day for some obligations and decided last minute to have dinner here rather than closer to home. We were greeting nicely and seated promptly. Our server was helpful, friendly and attentive. We loved the Burrata we split as an appetizer. Our dinners were excellent as well. While the restaurant is part of a large mall, once you are in Seasons 52 you would not know it. Very glad we decided to have dinner there!“

“Once again, we were spoiled by our last experience and we just re-ran all the same things, so it made our servers job easy. It was because of our previous servers Mr Birds excellent job. It was exactly the best of what you would expect - crisp lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and perfectly-cooked bacon strips cut into nicely-sized short sections (so much better than the bacon bits I feared I'd get). “Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Absolutely outstanding food & quality. I’m a huge fan of Po Boy sandwiches and had been struggling to find any in the area, found Crab De Jour Pennsauken on Door Dash & saw they had them.

Decided to give them a shot, got the cat fish one & the flounder one, I had always wanted to try catfish so I figured this was a good time to do it.

Both sandwiches were perfect, like actually perfect. The catfish one was easily my favorite of the two & now am a big fan of catfish. Flounder was solid , will be trying the shrimp one & oyster one next!

Their Cocktail sauce was delicious and had a great texture, the fries ( I got both Cajun & sweet potato ) were borderline addicting , perfectly cooked & seasoning was top tier.

Overall I have nothing but great things to say about this place, I’ve ordered 3 days in a row this week. Service & Food was outstanding , I’ve only had them via delivery but I can tell you this location and staff are amazing & they earned a lifelong customer with me.

5 stars across the board , if you’re on the fence of trying them or looking for great food at a very good value I hope this review convinces you to give them a shot.

“Mt Laurel is not a hot bed for… anything… but Monterey Grill is THE silver lining in Mt Laurel. Chef Andrew and his kitchen staff have a group personality matches their menu to a “T”. It’s controlled chaos but the flavor profiles of every dish are enjoyable and it gives guests something different to enjoy every night. The waiting staff are all amazing; welcoming, fun, and professional. They know their menu like pros and they know their wine list equally as well. The regular bar tenders are GREAT and their smokey old fashions are next to none in the area.

Only feedback: Management could do a better job at livening up the atmosphere… there used to be live music all the time and now they only have live music on Fridays. There was recently a change in management, so I suspect that these unwanted changes came from ownership and the new upper management team to save money, but it’s been a big swing and an even bigger miss.

Locals have loved this spot for years. Hopefully ownership come to terms with their mistakes and decide to run it back because Monterey Grill was perfect the way it was for many years.

Don’t let it turn into a “chainy” feeling vibe like Harvest or Red Stone. People like restaurants that are boutique and different. Character is everything in the hospitality business and the staff at Monterey Grill already has that!

Management has a choice to make… hopefully they figure it out. I’ll always support this spot, if for nothing else because the staff deserves the support.“

“How on Earth have I missed this place? This was THE BEST Low Country Boil I've EVER HAD!!! I had Lobster🦞 Tail, a 1/2a lb of Shrimp 🍤, 1/2 lb of Clams, 2 pieces of Corn and 3 Red Potatoes for $35 bucks! They brought it out in a giant steamer ballooned bag with a bucket and gloves and a bib. It was steamed in garlic butter and old bay (they have other seasonings too) and EVERYTHING was tender, perfectly cooked and seasoned. This will be my new favorite spot. I'm so happy it's in Lumberton and I can give them all my money 💰 💰 💰!!!“

I often order uncooked fish to go, but this week my dad had breaded shrimp with onion rings and fries for lunch. He said the fries were very good, but shrimp was overcooked. I like that you can get cans of Pepsi since other vendors sell only Coke products.“

“As much as it cost for blue claw crabs cleaned, not 100 % butter, and garlic you think the packaging would be better, lately they packaged a brown paper bag no plastic bag over the brown bag in presenting to you with leakage of butter at the bottom of bag which your car will smell like garlic with dripped butter. Appearance is the professional way for a good business, and Norman take criticism for improvement.“
