The sushi is so beautifully cut and made with the best ingredients. I have a gluten issues, their gluten-free temperature is the best, so crispy, not greasy, and perfectly cooked. Umami is a perfect blend in everything we have eaten.“

“Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“Our first time at Blue Olive was to celebrate a birthday and it didn't disappoint. The fusion of Mediterranean/Tunisian/Greek food was nothing short if spectacular. The service was incredibly friendly and gracious and the ambiance charming. We started with hot appetizers of roasted artichokes, pan fried Halloumi cheese, Spanakopita and an evening special hummus with spiced, minced lamb served with warm pita. All so delicious we were tempted to forego our main courses of moussaka, lamb kebab and delicious lemon/caper cod served over a bed of roasted root vegetable. Desserts, celebrated with a happy birthday candle on a scrumptious chocolate/hazelnut cake , walnut baklava and Turkish coffee made the evening complete. This BYOB gem is a culinary find and we will be going back soon.“

“I tried this place out on a whim for a lunch break and the food was great and I enjoyed what I ate. Normally I'm used to Mediterranean food being overcooked especially when it comes to chicken, but their chicken tender from the plate I ordered was really moist and the flavoring and seasoning was just right that I didn't need to sauce it out even though it was there on the side. Our server was really nice and attentive as well. The inside of the restaurant is really nice and enjoy the option to eat out at the balcony facing the lively intersection of Magnolia St and Trask Ave. Although the parking is probably hogged up by the car shop, you can find parking out on the north side of Magnolia St along the right side facing northbound. The point where the fire lane ends is not far from the restaurant and the walk to the restaurant is doable. If you're worried about battling the northbound traffic of Magnolia to get out of your car, you can drive a bit further and park in the nearby neighborhood. I got marked up pictures showing you where you can go. It'd be a five minute walk if you were to park in the neighborhood. I put up pictures marking out where this extra parking is. My suggestion is to come in from the South side going northbound of Magnolia St. or come in from the East side going westbound from Trask Ave.

But yeah to the folks that work out here in Garden Grove, you should give this place a try during your lunch break 💯. They got a lunch break special.“

It was exactly the best of what you would expect - crisp lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and perfectly-cooked bacon strips cut into nicely-sized short sections (so much better than the bacon bits I feared I'd get). “We’ve been to a lot of restaurant happy hours, and unfortunately many of them feel more like a marketing gimmick than a good value. Capital Grille completely changed our expectations. The happy hour menu offered excellent quality at very reasonable prices, and everything we tried was outstanding. The lamb chops were absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor—and the steak was just as impressive. Drinks wise we tried their dirty martini with blue cheese olives (delicious olives), peach bourbon smash (very tasty, could be dangerous as they’re so easy to drink), and margarita (real lime juice not the gross sour mix that gives you instant heartburn).

A big thank you to our waitress, Kate Wiser, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the summer wine flight special, checked on us often without being intrusive, and even made sure we got our happy hour order in before the cutoff time. That level of service really stood out. Between the exceptional food, great value, and outstanding hospitality, this was one of the best happy hour experiences we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back!“
