“As much as it cost for blue claw crabs cleaned, not 100 % butter, and garlic you think the packaging would be better, lately they packaged a brown paper bag no plastic bag over the brown bag in presenting to you with leakage of butter at the bottom of bag which your car will smell like garlic with dripped butter. Appearance is the professional way for a good business, and Norman take criticism for improvement.“

I’ve been looking for Korean fried chicken, but I don’t know how long and I found it. It’s crispy. It was hot and it was a great price. My husband had ordered some new chicken dish. He didn’t eat it. He liked my food so much better if you’re looking for good food and good service this is a place to go.“

“The bone-in BBQ wings (flats), were AMAZING!!!! FRESH everytime, just delicious. I also tried the grilled shrimp over rice with onions and peppers, OMG delicious!!! I am hooked now.

“We love Bonefish Grill with and without our kids. I’m not a seafood fan, but love the bang bang shrimp and the Lily’s chicken is sooo good!! We went recently and service was exceptional and fast!! We’ll definitely be back!“

“Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“OMG Seafood & Chicken absolutely delivers when it comes to quality and value. Their Chicken Over Rice is easily one of the best — perfectly seasoned chicken served over fresh rice with a sauce that blends incredibly well and brings everything together. Every bite is flavorful and satisfying.

“Our pick-up order included the BLT Salad, which is a new menu item. It was exactly the best of what you would expect - crisp lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and perfectly-cooked bacon strips cut into nicely-sized short sections (so much better than the bacon bits I feared I'd get). “Mt Laurel is not a hot bed for… anything… but Monterey Grill is THE silver lining in Mt Laurel. Chef Andrew and his kitchen staff have a group personality matches their menu to a “T”. It’s controlled chaos but the flavor profiles of every dish are enjoyable and it gives guests something different to enjoy every night. The waiting staff are all amazing; welcoming, fun, and professional. They know their menu like pros and they know their wine list equally as well. The regular bar tenders are GREAT and their smokey old fashions are next to none in the area.

Only feedback: Management could do a better job at livening up the atmosphere… there used to be live music all the time and now they only have live music on Fridays. There was recently a change in management, so I suspect that these unwanted changes came from ownership and the new upper management team to save money, but it’s been a big swing and an even bigger miss.

Locals have loved this spot for years. Hopefully ownership come to terms with their mistakes and decide to run it back because Monterey Grill was perfect the way it was for many years.

Don’t let it turn into a “chainy” feeling vibe like Harvest or Red Stone. People like restaurants that are boutique and different. Character is everything in the hospitality business and the staff at Monterey Grill already has that!

Management has a choice to make… hopefully they figure it out. I’ll always support this spot, if for nothing else because the staff deserves the support.“

“How on Earth have I missed this place? This was THE BEST Low Country Boil I've EVER HAD!!! I had Lobster🦞 Tail, a 1/2a lb of Shrimp 🍤, 1/2 lb of Clams, 2 pieces of Corn and 3 Red Potatoes for $35 bucks! They brought it out in a giant steamer ballooned bag with a bucket and gloves and a bib. It was steamed in garlic butter and old bay (they have other seasonings too) and EVERYTHING was tender, perfectly cooked and seasoned. This will be my new favorite spot. I'm so happy it's in Lumberton and I can give them all my money 💰 💰 💰!!!“

I often order uncooked fish to go, but this week my dad had breaded shrimp with onion rings and fries for lunch. He said the fries were very good, but shrimp was overcooked. I like that you can get cans of Pepsi since other vendors sell only Coke products.“

“I love this place. At least twice a year or more, I travel from Maryland to EC for the best homecooking. The fish selection is excellent and they will cook the fish. The variety of foods is great. The service is wonderful. I always make an extremely large order to take back with me to Maryland. The red snapper, sweet potatoe pie and peach cobbler are my favorites. My mom loves the Ling Ling, collards, and mac n cheese. My son loves everything on the menu. Our only problem is we tend to eat about half the order or more before we reach home.“

“Our little family goes to or orders from El Mariachi Loco pretty frequently. The food is always great and the service is also always amazing. This past weekend we ordered food from here for our daughter’s baptism and everyone who came couldn’t stop raving about the food, taking menus, and saying how great it was telling me they want to come back soon and meet us for lunch/dinner there. The prices are also great for what you’re getting. As long as we live close by, El Mariachi Loco will continue to be our go to for family meals and catering for special family celebrations!
