“I was looking for a place specifically to work on my laptop for a couple hours. This popped to the top of the list. Sweet upstairs loft with good wifi and power outlets. Coffee is excellent, and the treats are great. I walked a few blocks to check it out and totally worth it.“

“From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely cared for. This was my first time visiting, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, but what truly stood out was the level of attention and thoughtfulness we received. Being noticed and having the spelling of my name acknowledged made me feel seen and valued as a guest.

Ariana deserves special recognition—she went above and beyond by customizing both coquito lattes to accommodate my sister’s and my health issues, *without sacrificing flavor at all*. They were hands-down some of the best drinks we’ve had. Her knowledge, care, and exceptional customer service made this experience unforgettable. If anyone deserves a promotion, it’s Ariana!

“An absolute must-visit for steak lovers in NYC! The moment you walk into Palermo Argentinian Bistro, the cozy, rustic atmosphere sets the perfect mood. We started with the beef empanadas, which were fried to a flawless, shatteringly crisp golden brown. For the main event, the skirt steak was incredibly juicy, tender, and packed with authentic Argentine flavor—especially when paired with their vibrant chimichurri. Service was fast and welcoming, and the wine selection perfectly complemented the meal. Don't sleep on the flan with dulce de leche for dessert. I will absolutely be back!“

But the cafe itself needs a bit of housecleaning. So many flies just hovering inside and the cafe needs some bg music and might help with overall liveliness of the decor.“

“I had the pleasure to eat at Konoz. It is a clean and neat restaurant. The owner is friendly and pleasant. I asked him what he recommended and I placed the order to eat inside. The meat was tender and tasty, the salad was a good portion and trifongo was delicious. I chatted briefly with the owner. It’s a place I would go again when in the area.“

“I enjoy tasting empanadas from all types of places. Empanada Mama is by far the best of any place I’ve ever tasted!! The portions were stunning, the food was full of flavor, the menu is large, and the dessert empanadas are just as amazing as the savory ones! “Went at 3pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t too packed. The food was good. Service wasn’t the best. Server didn’t come to ask for our order until we flagged her down. Once we ordered we got our order in a reasonable time. At some point the table next to us was extremely loud which was annoying. Overall we enjoyed the food.“

“El Ranchero is my favorite taqueria in the bayshore. The tacos are the best in the area and the mole is delicious. The food is fresh and the service is fantastic. I recommend this to anyone! I order from here all the time but try to get it early because there always super busy. Never had a bad experience here and the staff is always on point. “The food here is really good!!!

I unfortunately came on a Friday night (avoid Friday nights eating in, just order out) and they were very short staffed. My waiter was friendly but I asked for a on the rocks margarita and got frozen, I asked for tap water, never got it and i never received utensils. The music was incredibly loud. But it’s nyc on a Friday night.

The Good: The woman in the back was a BOSS!!! running everything! She was so sweet and handled everyone with care. It seemed she was also responsible for the online orders which looked overwhelming.

The green salsa sauce was amazing and soooo good! Don’t change the recipe!

The food again was delicious. Really large portions. Take it easy or go ham!

Next time I would just order out.“

I was able to just drive up this week and saw they are indeed still open, so I am revising my review to account for their tasty eats. I finally got my birria empanadas, and I'm pleased. :)Initial Review:I placed an order online 2 weeks ago, but when I went to pick it up the place was completely closed. I called and called some more but no one ever picked up the phone. Now the phone is disconnected. I think it's safe to say I'm not getting those empanadas. :(The order online option is still totally active too which feels a bit scammy to me.“

“I used to eat here before with old management and now the ambient and our waiter was so nice, he suggested as the steak chopped and it was fabulous we ate twice! We loved the specials rice ball staffed with broccoli! Now its became one of my favourite spot here for Italian and Argentinian food!“
