“Better than “Asad’s Hot Chicken” hands down baaabbbyyyyyy!!!!!!!! The sandwich is heavy when you pick it up too! The flavor is everything, and the coleslaw on the chicken sandwich is fire. Now I dnt even like but the one this place makes is great. Only thing I would say, is to use purple cabbage instead of green for a little variety of color in the sandwich, and to add a little more acidity into the coleslaw as well but you still get that acid from the huge pickles on the sandwich anyway. The fries are exceptionally seasoned, unlike Asad’s fries, which are plain. Their dipping sauce is really good it’s nice and sweet. Which pair is very well with the spiciness of the chicken and fries. The chicken is very moist. Just melts in your mouth lol. they use brioche buns for the chicken sandwiches, which are a very nice fluffy and flavorful bread. Everything about this fried chicken branch is above and beyond. I will be coming back again to try their honey hot wings!!! This place even have chicken tacos. I highly recommend this to anyone living in Philadelphia. Especially those Asad’s Hot Chicken lovers. Yall don’t know what y’all are missing!“
“My friends and I walked into the Hibachi and Wings restaurant, we approached right away. The food was great and the people were very nice. I would highly recommended to others. The set up was very nice and organized, along with enough space for others to eat.“
“Great place for Korean style chicken wings and sauces! Friendly and fast, but not too fast, service. This made the food real good, tender and juicy! Not dried out! Sauce was sweet, garlicky and spicy all at one go! Loved it! ? couldn't stop eating!“
“Visiting from LA and wanted to get my hands on my first Philly Cheesesteak... from Philadelphia. This place was fantastic. The balsamic brie cheesesteak was amazing. Staff is super friendly and the dine in area is my kind of vibe. Great food. Thanks for setting the tone for my Philly experience.“
“What is this place ?? You maybe asking yourself and the answer to your question is……. HEAVEN!!!!! This place is Heaven I mean the phillthy cheesesteak was immaculate. It was so good that I had to stop halfway into my meal to call and say how amazing it is thank you Sandy so much hope I got the name correct. Oh I also got it DoorDashed and it came so perfect still ????????“
“Hands down, as good as wings get. You can tell that they prepare every meal they make with love and respect for the people they’re making it for. Crispy and flavorful is the best way I can put it. Sorry, I’m drooling thinking about how good this meal just was:)! Thanks, guys! I’ll be back asap.“
“The staff was welcoming and friendly! Love the peaceful vibe of the place. The food is absolutely outstanding. My friend and I got the Spicy Lemon Pepper Wings, Chicken & Shrimp Rasta Pasta, and the Chicken Alfredo Pasta. After taking a bite, I felt like I was ascending, it was amazing! There is so much flavorful in the food, I strongly recommend trying the pasta and the wings. 10/10 definitely will come back for more ?“
“Wonderful place for a nice romantic meal!Hubz and I decided to try this place for an anniversary lunch. Although you wouldn't be able to tell from outside, this is a nice, quiet little gem.We were seated immediately by our waiter. (I must say, I was surprised that the only waiter in this black establishment was white), just something I noticed. He was really nice and welcoming.Their menu can be found online by scanning a QR.It's pretty straightforward. They have a nice selection of creative dishes. We ordered some wings for appetizers.I ordered Shrimp and Chicken Rasta Pasta. Hubz ordered the fish and waffles dish. He got a ginger beer, and I got a tropical ginger juice. The meal was delicious! Everythingwas seasoned and cooked perfectly!Compliments to the chef! 5 ?After our meal, the owner (I believe) came by and told us about a Valentines Day event they were having with a live band and specials.Along with all my normal ones, we had to take a pic with our waiter as well because he was so friendly.“
“1st time there and was pleasantly surprised. It was like walking into an episode of Cheers. Joe and Melissa made everyone feel welcomed. They greeted people by name or if they didn’t know you, they talked to you like a friend. What a great place to eat and have fun.“
“Possibly the best fried chicken in west Philadelphia. It's crispy and seasoned to perfection, plus you can get more traditional Ethiopian fare that also doesn't fail to impress. This is the kind of restaurant where everything on the menu is fantastic, so if you see a special just get it. A standout addition to a neighborhood full of great food and a delightful blend of American food and Ethiopian flavor. Wow!Vegetarian options: Fully vegan food options, clearly labeled. Easy to put together a delicious filling vegan meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free / vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Counter service eat-in.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance to building has ramp + pull door. Bathroom in rear of building accessible via flat threshold. Bathroom is roomy, but may or may not have roll bars.“
“A non-pretentious local gem that serves well- prepared casual and comfort foods. Items are reasonably priced and a are a good serving size, so you get your money's worth. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The drinks are good and there is a good beer selection. It's the ideal spot to get food before or after going across the street to Tonewood Brewery.Vegetarian options: There is a veggie sandwich, the nachos can be made without chicken/beef, salads, can be modified.“
“Got a mushroom cheese steak w/ fries which were both awesome. I got my mother in law a turkey hoagie and she absolutely raved about it. "Best hoagie I ever had!" is what she said. The people who work there are very nice and friendly and the prices are good too!“
“I tried to cancel my order due to a long wait time (I ordered really late) but when I called they wouldn’t let me and offered to make it quick and they did not disappoint. Thank you for dealing with me! Lol the food was quick and so delicious for late night! Thank you again!“
“I ordered food for the party i was holding and the food was great and when i came to pick up the order it was hot and they helped me bring everything in the car and i also was given 2 2 liter soda. Great place Great service definitely going back.“
“I just DONT UNDERSTAND how they took sumone 1st when I was in line ahead of them they even called her by her first name then the guy in back of me got his food b4 Us! He even made a comment about that! We waited at least 20 minutes. I though I saw our platters but they insisted it was an doordash order!! It seems like IF Yr NOT a regular U WAIT Till they feel like waiting on U!!!“
“My old job ordered from here and I had to go back. This pizza is good! Very flat bread crust. The kind you have to dust your hands after picking it up. Good quality cheese and pepperoni too. Really reminded me of a good New York slice. They were nice too. Literally 50 feet walk outside of the chinastop orange line station. I ate inside and they do have seating but I got the last one. Will definitely be back ⭐️“
“The food is usually great every time I order but recently the service had declined. I was told a 20 min wait once I returned I was told another 10 or more because they are busy in the kitchen. If you want good fresh seafood cooked this is a good spot. Customer service is another issue.“
“I ordered 3XL pizzas for a party I was having. My friends picked up the food and when they did, they were given a cheesesteak, buffalo chicken strips and cheese fries for free. They all came with fries on the side. I appreciate that a lot! Thank you, food was great!“
“Bought Wings, and a pizza (specifically a white pizza.) The wings were very good and meaty, the sauce was hot without being overbearing. The wings it should be noted were naked wings. We didn't specify for naked or regular. The pizza was good, and the garlic sauce they put on was excellent. The crust has a nice flavor and it's not too greasy. The only knock I have was the cheese. It's not as stretchy or as tasty as you would expect. That's not to say it was bad just not as good as other shops in the area. This was our first time in.Regardless I'm going back for more!It is under new management, and they have a new expanded menu.“
“4 generations have been through king of pizza. Amazing food, friendly staff & clean atmosphere. Has to be one of very very few restaurants that have stayed open for about 50 years (probably longer than my knowledge) if that doesn't speak for itself I'm not sure what would!“
“Very fast orders and you can order ahead and pick up in store. Marathon is pretty much the only local pizza place that makes flavorful pizza that isn’t swimming in grease. Not quite as good as Dominoe’s for most situations, but when you don’t feel like getting heart burn with every bite and you want a crust that tastes like it has natural flour in it, marathon is the way to go.“
“Tony Bella is been my family’s favorite. We care that same guy is been makeing my pizzas baked goods. There is new addition den he is Italian real deal cook I love that penne al vodka sauce and broccoli and chicken pastas it the best. I recommend everyone who I know. Love the energy and love for the food and community. Best of luck ?“
“Great Food Good People. Mrs Kim Is My Favorite That’s My Beautiful. I Literally NEVER had anything on the menu I didn’t like they treat you with respect best place in the county to have a meal & drink & they also have Korean Ramen OMG it’s so good with the egg & rice great meal for anytime but especially during the cold reminds you of the Ramen they eat on anime so good you gotta give it a try“
“Wings are so good. My kids love the bowlin balls and fat boys sauce on the wings. Only thing I can say is plan ahead. Done times I order some on a Thursday night and the wait is only about 35 min. Last Friday I ordered some and it was close to 2 hours before I got the wings. Even though the wait was 2 hours, the wings were fresh and hot when I got them.“
“Made a pit stop at this Deptford Mall food court for a nice cheesesteak dinner. I was really in the mood for cheesesteak and this spot did not disappoint. The menu was pretty easy to understand and the service was fast and polite. The seating is ample and was not too noisy so my friends and I were able to sit down and talk very comfortably.“
“I tried chicken and tteokbokki here. You can choose chicken in small, medium, and large sizes, and the small size costs about $15 for one person (picture attached). You can choose between Korean BBQ, Soy Galic, and Spicy sauce, but I personally recommend soy galic. You can also choose half and half sauce. Don't expect the taste to be the same as Kyochon Chicken, but if you go when you miss chicken a lot, you will be somewhat satisfied. (But the Coleslaw tasted better than I expected.) The tteokbokki was also really delicious, so I recommend it. The price is reasonable and the staff is so friendly that I would like to go again.“
“Tried this place for the first time OMG the service was Great and the Food was Awesome A Fan forever sent a friend to try the food they loved it will be ordering soon keep it up You Guy’s ROCK much success to you Rock N Flavors is the Perfect Name Rock ON guy’s“
“I placed my order on Grubhub. The Grubhub driver delivered my order to the wrong address in my apartment complex. Grubhub “customer service” said there’s nothing they can do. They refused to refund the money, as well as refused to submit my order for redelivery.I spoke with the team at Little Sicily, and the owner went out of his way and called Grubhub himself to speak on my behalf. Grubhub still refused. Ultimately, I did not get my order, but I am so grateful to the team at Little Sicily for THEIR exceptional customer service. I will 100% be order from here in the future, but not with Grubhub.“
“I came in for lunch and ordered the honey garlic wings. The wait was a bit long so be sure to order ahead. Nonetheless, when I got my food I was satisfied with the result. The wings were cooked perfectly. They were hot, crisp, and juicy and the honey garlic sauce on the breading perfect. I usually like to eat my wings with blue cheese or ranch but I didn’t need any for these!“
“Ah yes, the Grays Ferry Deli. What's not to love? Great breakfast food, awesome cheesesteaks, fresh fruit salads, tasty homemade drinks, etc. This small neighborhood spot gets busy, so it's best to phone in your order. Don't forget to bring cash.“
“One of my new fav places ! I done been here more than a few times & my food was good everytime. I don’t mind waiting 5-8 mins, especially when it’s just the owner! Now I would say just use a little less salt products on the chicken (high bp issues) other than that, no complaints ! Chicken not all big & soggy looking, it’s always crispy & juicy ?“
“Old school dive bar. Nothing fancy. Just a great time with a huge bar, video games, shuffleboard, popcorn machine and a back room for parties. The prices are still old school too! Don't sleep on the wings. They are the best around. The secret is to ask for them grilled!“
“Raising canes sauce was just as delicious as they say! They chicken itself was nice and crispy, it could have had more seasoning however I appreciated that it wasn’t salty. The fries were bland however and could be better. Over all I really did enjoy my meal and thought the Texas toast was a nice touch! I will be back for more!“
“Wowwwww it should be illegal to make food this good. It is soo hard to find good soul food with flavorful sides. I got the jumbo shrimp platter with mac and cheese, candy yams, and collard greens. Food and service was so good. 100/10 I will definitely be back!“
“Every time we go to Antonio’s we are always greeted with kindness. Not many places can you find amazing food, not a crazy long wait time, and an always pleasant staff & environment, but at Antonio’s, you can!! So happy they are our local pizza spot and we’re happy to support a great business!“
“Beat the stadium food. Stadium Grill by Oogie's is the best hole in the wall for people planning to see a game. Why pay $20 for a mediocre burger when you can pay half that for some delicious, greasy perfection. I came in to Stadium Grill before a recent hockey game with some friends for brunch. Sporting sandwiches, pizzas, BREAKFAST pizzas, and more, we split a sausage Boli platter. Bolis are Stadium Grill's specialty; an edible cup made from pizza dough, filled with egg, cheese, and meat, topped with Everything Bagel seasoning and served with a side of ketchup or spicy ketchup (the spicy ketchup is simply hot sauce mixed in with their ketchup). While I'd prefer to eat Boli's with marinara, the Boli's themselves are amazing. One platter comes with enough Boli's to feed 4 hungry dudes and each Boli is densely packed with protein. The seasoning adds much needed salt and packs so much flavor. It's a must get for groups. Stadium might not be fancy, but it's a fast, affordable, and delicious way to prep before watching a game.“
“My family's go to since we've moved to Woodbury! Always fast, friendly service and fresh food reasonably priced. The chicken wings are my favorite with a side of cheese fries. ? Crispy and moist every single time! Great burgers and chicken sandwiches as well. They are open late too, great option for late night munchies or those nights when I get off work late and do not want to cook.“
“I recently visited this pizza store and had a fantastic experience. The pizza was delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere. I appreciate the attention to detail and the overall positive vibe. I'll definitely be returning for more tasty pizzas!“
“Been riding by this place for about a year or so coming back from work down the White Horse pike. Decided to call in small personal pie and for the $9 price it was superb. Very good & hot plus fresh ingredients . Employees were very cordial and friendly. Perfectly cooked and just the right size for a personal size pie.I will return again. Thank you.“
“The chicken sandwiches here are a must. They're juicy, the batter is light and crispy, the ratio of the pickle and coleslaw to chicken is perfect, and the brioche bun holds well. It's a bit spendy for a chicken sandwich, but is justified by how well it is done. my only qualm is that there is no indoor seating, but there is a nice willow tree down the street that you can sit at.“
“I was picking up cupcakes from next door to this place and looked over like let me try their food and it was the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had the roll has to be kosher I’ve never eaten anything like this it was so delicious to the point that I had my mother on the phone and asked her if she wanted to try because the prices was unbelievable and I’m happy we chose this place I will be back lol ❤️“
“I love this place. I get exactly the same thing (chicken teriyaki rice bowl with white rice) every single time for years now because it’s good, reasonably priced, and consistent quality. The people that work here are super nice and the space is clean!“
“This place is a pretty awesome chain. I usually enjoy their Korean fried chicken but I was definitely in the mood to try something new. I got the Takoyaki which is grilled octopus. It was pretty good. I really liked their batter. I did find it weird that there were bonito flakes on it. It created a weird texture with it. The dish came out pretty fast. We also split some shrimp shumai. I didn't really like the honey Dijon dressing. I felt like I would have rather they put soy sauce on the dish. I also felt like there was too much Dijon dressing that was put on the shumai. The place has an upstairs and a bar as well.“
“I have been coming to this place ever since I've been a little child and always get the same thing. That being said I have looked for a better Stromboli and found others lacking and wanting what I get on a consistent basis from here. Small space but enough for what it is.“
“We love it at Picasso's the staff are so friendly and the owners is too!!! They are a little hidden gem right around the corner from my house!! The food is great and they have lunch specials Monday thru Saturday that cannot be beaten!!“
“New to the neighborhood, (single dad night off) searched "bars near me" on google and 2 Street Pub popped up first on my search list. I'd never been there on New Years and I typically hit up all of 2 street for New Years Day so I was intrigued. Grabbed 40 bucks cash, left my watch and chain on the kitchen counter, and walked out my front door near 4th and Reed and headed right down to the pub. I've probably passed 2 Street Pub 6 times a week since moving into the neighborhood a few weeks ago. I've always seen a solid local crowd there. That's why this spot peaked my interest. I've never had a bad time at a local bar. It was a Tuesday night and unbeknownst to me there was an open mic comedy night in full swing. I walked in, got a few side eyes, from the patrons as it's a locals spot (NOTE* all patrons were dudes so if you're looking to find your next baby mom, keep going south), but ordered my shot and beer ($11 for jamo and coors!!!!) and found a seat in the corner to listen to the stand up. As I laughed at the jokes, the patrons realized I was just there to enjoy myself and the vibe got chill real fast. I did not stop laughing until I had to go home, I'm serious, the line up was very funny with intelligent jokes. The side eyes I referenced before turned into hand shakes and introductions, and were all from the comics who were about to perform; some of which were well versed in stand up, others just giving it their best, who were probably a little nervous about having to perform in front of a stranger because the space is that intimate. Some moments made me feel like I was in a group therapy session where the delivery was based on a need to fulfill a therapeutic goal. That's not a rip on anyone, that's pure expression and it was cool to see. These guys were true artists, it takes guts to get up in front of people and deliver your stuff...no one disappointed. For a corner bar in South Philly on a Tuesday, this was an absolute treat. The bartender was great, I spent $38.00 bucks (including tip) and went home with a belly full of Irish whiskey and beer and some great jokes to tell friends. I'll be going back next Tuesday a little earlier to grab some food but I'm giving this spot 5 stars. This has been another SDS review, tip your bartenders 25%, tip you servers 35%, and most importantly, order the most expensive thing on the menu, WHY NOT! -SDS- THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM ON THE MENU“
“I love food in general, but I'm also a pescatarian, so there are a lot of things I don't eat. That being said, everything I have received from this place has been delicious! Lo mein, shrimp basket, vegetable fried rice, broccoli in garlic sauce, and of course shrimp rolls and egg rolls are some of those items. Not much, but for me, the little things are what matter. I'm also quite choosy. Noodles and rice can sometimes be disgusting. I say that to emphasize the fact that this is the SOLE Chinese restaurant I frequent. Hope this is useful!“
“Great value. I had the chicken on rice w/ salad & hot sauce. Couldn't try the white sauce due to a milk allergy. The chicken, rice and salad were fresh. Platter came with a canned soda for $8. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Def would return.“
“When I say, "I love Crown", I LOVE Crown Fried Chicken. Not all locations though, just this location. The chicken is always good, I don't know what they soak and coat that chicken in but it makes the chicken very flavorful and tender - even the breast are juicy.Parking: Now listen, you may not get a spot close to the entrance and sometimes not even on that block. But it's worth it to park on the next block and walk up the street, please put something on the meter just to be on the safe side.“
“THE Best wings around. I’ve tried them all in the area. I like that you can get different flavors, I love how fast the order is ready, And I love the consistency here, they always make good wings and they’re cooked just right! Yes they charge more than a local dive, but you get what you pay for!Parking: Great location you can always find a spot and it’s right next to the liquor store for game night lol“
