“We absolutely love the Kurly Kurdish shop. I had a Kurly kone with cherry vanilla ice cream. This is the best sweet treat. I recommend everyone stop in and try one!“

“We stopped by this café for a Saturday morning breakfast. The exterior was charming, which drew us in. Parking is street-only, so it can be tricky on busier days, but we lucked out.

I ordered a cortado—decent, nothing remarkable. I went with the avocado toast, which they’re apparently known for. It was as minimalist as it gets: a slice of ciabatta, olive oil, a generous amount of fresh avocado, salt, and pepper. No frills, but solid and satisfying. My friend had a multigrain croissant with sausage and egg—basic and hearty.

The café is mostly self-service, and while the vibe was relaxed, the service was quite slow. We even cleared our own table from the previous guests. It seemed a bit understaffed, but the food was fresh and filling. A cute local spot, though don’t expect speed or polish.“

“Stunning cafe. Hidden gem for sure. In the middle of the craziest morning, I couldn’t have had a better slowdown than Orange House Cafe. The barista was really patient, kind. I was really taken aback when I saw the elegantly made cappuccino presented to me and the cookie smells delightful. Can’t wait to come back everyday.“

“Wayne Hot Bagels supplied breakfast for Teacher Appreciation Week and did a fabulous job! They were friendly, courteous, patient and worked with me to find items that fit within the budget. They even personally delivered for us free of charge. They truly were a pleasure to deal with and I would definitely use them again for future events!“

“This is one of the most beautiful places around! Sagar puts his heart into this place. It's an oasis in Passaic! Come check it out- for a date, or to meet someone or to just chill. He also rents for special occasions- I've even seen small weddings here! Highly highly recommended. Kosher ice cream and snacks as well. Take your wife or date here! In winter, roaring fire inside. I just love it here. Sitting outside and seeing the beauty around me right now. Tranquil....just awesome. Great place to work from as well.“

“I had the pancakes and turmeric latte on Friday (11/22/24) and ordered online delivery Saturday (grilled cheese). This is how amazingly delicious the food/latte is. I took my friend for her first visit and she said the latte felt like a hug and the simple egg sandwich was delicious! We left and didn't feel heavy. I'm not a latte drinker but I have tasted my twin sister's when she orders from the big businesses. Disgusting!! I tried the turmeric latte for the health benefits of the turmeric and was skeptical. Oh my heavenly goodness. Now, THIS IS A HOW A LATTE IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE!! DELICIOUS!!!!! I'm surprising my twin sister with a turmeric latte for her after work treat. “The owner Al and his wife are an amazing power duo that this town definitely needed. He's an amazing chef with a fantastic background and loves treating people to his amazing dishes. The vibe is very quaint and comfortable with lots of room to move around and check out the pastries he also makes homemade in-house. Definitely best bagel/deli around the area so far and deserves way more exposure!

Parking: Mini plaza parking lot, roughly 15-20 car spaces with 2 in the center next to the sidewalk. Around the block is free street parking.“

“My husband and I happened to walk by today and saw they were open! It was a soft opening, so we decided to get coffee and I’m so glad we did! Their iced latte and chocolate croissant were both delicious! My husband said the espresso was also very good. The inside is beautiful and the large outdoor patio is such a nice feature. The staff was super friendly and even gave our daughter a chocolate chip cookie :) Can’t wait to go back!“

Red Eye is one of her favorite places to eat. She use to work in Montclair. So when she is visiting, this is her place. Great atmosphere!“

“We stopped by over the weekend on a bit of a whim, but I'm so happy that we did because it was a very pleasant experience. From the outside. It looks kind of like it's out of date or something, but inside it felt much more refreshing and like a classic coffee shop feel. It was pretty cozy and they had a bunch of places to sit and talk, including along the windows in the front if you want a people watch. I thought their prices were reasonable and the girl who helped us was nice. It seemed like they only had one employee so the service was a little bit slow, but we still didn't wait very long so it was no problem at all.“

We had a Zu-Zee’s Burger (quality burger medium well, provolone cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, sauce, I believe mini bacon cuts), Macha tea, pancakes with butter, side of Inca Cola, Avocado Toast with an egg sunny side up. All Amazing. Small location 10-seater, breakfast, brunch, lunch. Our new go-to spot in town.“

“We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“
