“This deli is a great addition to the landscape of our small town! It's cozy, clean, and inviting, and of course has great food made to order. Short story... one evening I was running late to work on second shift. Michelle had already closed, but was still inside cleaning. She let me in, and made me the two sandwiches I requested without hesitation. I will never forget that. Thanks Michelle! Keep up the great work!“

“1st time to New Jersey. We decided to order from a deli, so we ordered from Poppies, best decision we ever made. We ordered through a delivery service and it was still hot when it arrived. We ordered the hot roast beef sandwich on long roll and a bacon cheese burger on long roll with 2 bags of doretoes. They did not disappoint they were big, hot and very tasty. I will recommend to friends and family if they are coming to New Jersey from Texas anytime in the future.“

“Great pastrami sandwiches. I also tried the corned beef but didn't enjoy it as much. Corn3d beef wasn't bad just not as special as the pastrami.
Definitely stick to the pastrami.
Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

“I had to order last minute for my daughter's St. Marys high school teachers appreciation week. The owner was amazing. Not only did he take my huge order last minute...he delivered it in time for lunch for the teachers and staff!!! They loved it. Fresh and delicious....the turkey and provolone ...and Spicy Italian were a crowd pleaser!!! Will definitely order again...and highly recommend ? ? ?“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“Got a turkey melt the first time it was great 10/10. Went back again they were all out but the guy made me something similar n it was just as good 10/10 !! Also great price I got one turkey melt bag of chips a soda and Mac n cheese for 20$! It’s good quality too“

My friend told me about this spot and before telling me anything about the food he told me about the people who work there. “I’ve now catered from here twice, and both experiences were excellent. Our large orders were prepared perfectly and included meatballs, penne vodka, chicken francese, eggplant parm, Mediterranean orzo salad, a cheese antipasto platter, and a variety of sandwich platters. Everything was ready on time, packaged nicely, and enjoyed by everyone. Beyond the catering, the Nutley Sandwich and the daily made mozzarella are delicious. “I've never been here before but ordered a breakfast sandwich and a second sandwich for lunch. Both were freaking fantastic! Even 4 hours later, my lunch was phenomenal. Not to mention, the woman who answered the phone and greeted me at the counter was a firecracker, and I will be back simply bc I really dig the vibe here... and these ladies know how to feed a hungry construction guy with an affordable menu. Thank you! My breakfast and lunch were both AWESOME!“
