“We've been going to Blue Moon for at least 10 years. We always sit in the bar area for the atmosphere. It's gets very crowded, but everyone is friendly. The best part about this bar/restaurant is how good & attentive the staff is. It seems like they're are never understaffed. No matter how crowded it is, someone drops off chips & salsa to your table and takes your drink order immediately. There's no waiting for someone to take your drink order while you look at the menu like most restaurants in jersey these days. Even the manager comes around to see if you want more chips & asks how everything is. Whoever is training the waitstaff & bartenders at Blue Moon would make a killing training staff and managers of other bars/restaurants. As far as people saying the food is salty, we've never experienced that. The drinks are strong & tasty and staff super friendly. There's tons of parking, it's kid friendly in the dining room. It's ground level, which makes it accessible to everyone.“

He spoke English and Spanish. The elote was great. We both had the Chamango, the flavors of sweet and sour combined were delicious. Will definitely be going back there.“

The person who served us was very friendly, the place was clean, there were two tables under a tent where we could eat.
The wait time was short considering that there were several people who had already ordered before us.

I always like to try the new places and this one is absolutely amazing! Newly renovated building, parking lot is big, the service was excellent, the menu had great food choices and the prices are very reasonable, the food comes out fast and absolutely delicious and big portions! We are so glad we stumbled upon this business. I personally love their Al Pastor tacos and Ground Beef Tacos (idk how they cook the beef but it is INCREDIBLE).

“The place is cozy, servers are very helpful and kind, and foods are great and cheap.

I went at sunday night and it was very crowded so had to wait about an hour eith the waiting list, but foods came out quick as I’ve ordered.

I was afraid of ordering at first because it seemed like everyone was speaking Spanish there, but all servers spoke English and they had English menu so it was no problem.

The prices are relatively cheaper since I’m used to paying $5 per taco wheen it’s $2 here.

I got myself about 8 tacos and total only came about $24.

Only possible challenges are maybe finding a street parking and that you may have to share table with another party.

I ordered two marry me cocktails and the second was better and stronger than the first. For starters, we had the tostones and guacamole topped with shrimp and churrasco. For entree my husband had the mofongo de churrasco and I had the garlic mashed potatoes with churrasco and lobster. Food was 10/10! Our server was attentive and informative regarding the dishes. They do not serve complementary chips and salsa like other places do. Waitress was very polite but knew very little English, which made my family nervous as we have food allergies and are vegetarians. I got a burrito box w/ chorizo and added guac, Brussels sprouts & chipotle aioli. Oh my goodness. Delicious! Those brussels were way tasty. Then a bag of chips too. The chips had a hint of lime and lightly salted, so good. Better than chipotles. The bowl was huge; couldn’t finish which made for a great dinner. “The taco craving hit us one Sunday so we decided to pick some up on our way home from running errands, at around 1:30. There is street parking so if you wait around long enough, you’ll be able to get a spot. We had the birria tacos, al pastor, and lengua. We originally wanted to try the oreja and campechanos but they didn’t have it that day. These are probably the best quesabirria tacos I’ve had in the area. I’m normally not a huge fan because it usually ends up being soggy, and I don’t really like braised meat, as it tends to be dry. That wasn’t the case here. The tacos were still crispy 20 minutes later, and the meat wasn’t dry. It was stuffed to the max with beef and cheese. The broth was also very good and not watery like most other places tend to be. The al pastor tacos and lengua tacos were also very good. They’re a bit smaller than similar taco spots in the neighborhood but it’s quality over quantity here. If they added fresh pineapple to the pastor, it would have brought the taco over the top. I also enjoyed their homemade (sauces). They have a kick to it but be careful with the dark chipotle looking one. One drop of that, and you’ll be good.Will definitely be back for some more tacos. Hopefully next time, they’ll have the oreja and campechano.“

I have tried almost the entire menu and it's always beyond my expectations. From Tacos, soups, guacamole, diner dishes, tamales to seafood they have it all without mentioning the molcajete dish!!! Let’s just say- chipotle would literally get put out of business. I got the burrito bowl, and my stomach felt fine afterwards (unlike chipotle- and I love chipotle, but this place obvs has better quality food).
It was absolutely the best thing ever, and HUGE portions… I couldn’t finish all of my food.

Overall 10/10. And the people who work here were reallyyyy sweet too, and hooked me and my friend up with amazing friend dough. The next time I’m in the area- I’m coming here.“
