“We have always done take-out but every time we have picked up the atmosphere seems great. The black bean soup is great....add pork for a delicious meal. Burritos are tasty, made to order, and for most good for 2 means. Good Mexican food and one of our “
“I've gone 2 times within the past 2 weeks and I'm hooked. You might not expect it walking in, but it's the perfect little gem for Hackensack. The taco tuesday specials are great but the delicious tacos make it more worth it. The margaritas are yummy too“
“I’ve been to different locations of la fortaleza but this one is by far the best. Incredibly great service and the food was so good. Karen made our experience incredible and gave us amazing service. My wife had the chilaquiles and I had chiles rellenos I loved it.“
“The exquisite food with a flavor of Mexico, the excellent service Valeria and Irma are always friendly and attentive to their customers, they are two of the best, from the Passaic Fortress 204 Hope Ave we are in the county of Ocean County and we travel more than once time to enjoy the best authentic Mexican food, and the excellent service of Valeria and Irma and thanks to the entire team that makes up the fortress of hope ????????????????“
“I recently hosted my bridal shower here and it was the best experience I could have asked for. From start to finish, Victoria was patient and accessible for any questions. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better! I did not have to worry about dietary restrictions for my guests (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free) as they had them all covered! I would definitely recommend Uno Mas for your next event, as my experience was seamless.“
“We recently had the pleasure of dining here today. This restaurant brings out the food of its people with great prices. The tacos are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are truly authentic. We tried the fried pork, beef birria and chicken birria tacos and churros they were excellent. The tortillas are made fresh daily. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.“
“Wow!! So we had a group of 8 and was pouring rain so looking for a takeout place. Found Tacos Polos because it was only 5 minutes away. We ordered tons of food for pickup. The price was great and the quality and amount for the price was unbelievable. We ordered a 30 tacos combo ?they were amazing. Everything was so good. We are so happy we found an amazing takeout place nearby.“
“Working with Bro-Ritos was a very pleasant experience and we can't wait to bring them back to Rutgers-NB again! From the moment we contacted them through their website, they were professional, prompt, and friendly. We invited them for our annual Black Student Social which is a fall semester welcome program. The staff were kind and worked quickly to serve over 200 students. Our students were happy with their tacos and burritos. The owner was very accommodating and met all of our needs.Administratively, I was very impressed with Bro-Ritos. We made A LOT of requests and changes and had to work through the nuances of getting a new vendor approved, but Bro-Ritos was always responsive and on top of it. They are true team players. If you have the opportunity, you should book the Bro's!“
“We absolutely love coming here! The service is friendly, the food is delicious, the drinks are yummy. A big shout out to Lily! What a beautiful soul and a superior attitude! Thank you for the best food and drinks! Salute!Parking: Lots of spots to park.Kid-friendliness: The kids love the colorful atmosphere“
“This is the best Mexican food I've had in Jersey!! It's family owned and the family is incredibly friendly. The food is authentic, it tastes like it was served straight out of abuela's kitchen. The homemade sauces and dishes are delicious and unique in taste. They serve birria tacos occasionally which are to die for !!! The place is cozy and bright. They deliver, prices are reasonable and the food tastes great even reheated. I love this spot!!!“
“Be careful what you wish for. One torta here completely eliminated any chance I'd be doing any more climbing yesterday at the gym we were at next door. Delicious lunch though next time I'll opt for something lighter if I hope to continue climbing.“
“They were so nice to accommodate my birthday ressy here!! Went back to grab the same thing I got as last time and again I ate it all! Food is still great!!! Service is a bit slow. And to the other reviewers that say it's quiet..that has not been my experience... it probably is when our large loud party isn't there.“
“The best Mexican restaurant in rockland county. The place is clean and the food is always fresh. You must eat at the place to enjoy a different experience. Don't feel shy about going or talking with the workers they are really great and friendly.“
“Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. The chicken burrito is fantastic. The guac is always freshly made. Churros are also great. My girlfriend always gets the spicy shrimp tacos, even though it’s not listed here on the menu. But if you call them they will accommodate. Very nice hidden gem in Lodi.“
“Really fresh Mexican food with quick service.Ordered pickup and tried the steak nachos and triple combo chimichangas. Both came in a huge serving with a ton of sides and extras to mix in.Great flavor in everything I had. Definitely stop by.“
“Taco Buzz in Fair Lawn is a hidden gem that promises an authentic Mexican culinary journey. My recent experience at this cozy establishment left me thoroughly impressed. The menu boasts a variety of tantalizing options, each dish bursting with genuine Mexican flavors.Whether you're a seasoned fan of Mexican cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore new flavors, Taco Buzz in Fair Lawn is a must-visit. The combination of great food and a warm atmosphere makes it a standout choice for those seeking an authentic and delightful Mexican dining experience.“
“I've been coming here for Taco Tuesday for a little bit trying to give it a chance and unfortunately to just too cheap of a meal for you to enjoy. They literally put like no ingredients in that taco. You're basically writing into a tortilla shell there's just nothing inside and it ends up being a really bad meal for the price. I understand it's a discount but they could do a little bit better with the amount of food that they put inside the taco shell It's basically a plastic container with a bunch of lettuce a taco shell and about a half a tablespoon of meat. Employees are so kind and very very nice so I feel bad it feels like they're being told to put such a small amount but if you could do better I would definitely be returning but for now I'm going to give this place a little break.“
“The food was good and the service was very friendly and fast. The person who ordered tamales said they were delicious and my chimichanga with barbacoa was good, but the two choices of sauce were not my favorite. I opted for verde rather than mole, but it's a little sour for my usual taste. After the fact I realized that maybe I should have asked if they had a red sauce and maybe he only suggested his favorites. Still, overall the food was very good.Parking: The lots nearby are not for the restaurant but they were full anyway. There is street space that has a sign stating no parking but everyone parks there anyway.“
“I don't think I can say better things about the flavor profile and selection of salsa available at El Asadero, it is worth it to come here for this alone!! If you are around this area, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop in!“
“I always order burritos from here, also love their chips and guac (just wish there was a smaller size for chips cause I never finish them). They always do a great job preparing the food. Presentation is always neat and they always get it right. Their guacamole is always fresh and I’ve never had to spend a long time waiting for my mobile order. Would definitely recommend this spot.“
“Overall it was a great dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was good, and pricing was typical. What was missing was the old days when Mexican restaurants typically gave you free chips and salsa for the table. A relatively small expense like that can go a long way towards enhancing the dining experience. It's like an Italian restaurant giving you free bread and butter/oil. Still, it was a good meal and the Sangria was good, though it could have had a little more fruit... Definitely worth a trip to try it out.“
“This is our favorite place to get take out in the area! The food is delicious and it’s always ready on time. I love ordering in the app - the rewards are great! Just tried the churros today and they were excellent!! I love the bowls, my son and husband love the tacos and burritos.“
“Friendly and great service. The food truck was very organized when it comes to the ordering. The food was delicious. One of the best birria tacos in the state of NJ. I drove 30 minutes for these tacos. I would recommend coming here for tacos.“
“I went in for the first time today, the experience was amazing!! great songs, the food was absolutely delicious, and the guy was an amazing help! The fruit was nice and soft, the chamoy and tajin added on was perfect. i’ve been craving this kind of fruit in such a specific way and this place hit every checkpoint! i would absolutely recommend since i just found my new spot!“
“I have eaten here about half a dozen times and it is one of my favorite Taco places! The Avocado taco is Excellent!! and so is the Carne and the Pollo. Love the service, the atmosphere, and the decor! Not the best location because of traffic, but the food is just great!!!!!!!!!!!!“
“Our experience at Dulce Patria was a good one. The ambiance was great. The service was amazing. The art was nice to look at and the drinks were top notch. We went for sushi night. We didn't know it was sip and paint night as well so it got really packed really fast. The crab cakes were the only thing I did not like. I told them and they didn't do anything to accommodate our dissatisfaction but we still enjoyed the rest of the meals. The chicken teriyaki empanadas were dry but they gave us sauce on the side after we requested it. Our table was rocking and a server came to ask if they could fix it and did so without us asking or complaining. The space is extremely small but it works for a quick dining experience. If you want space and intimacy, this is not the place to go. The music was perfect and the drinks were delicious!!! Marianna was so sweet and everything she recommended was on point. We even left with a framed printed picture which captured our anniversary celebration! Thank you Dulce! Best of luck to you all!“
“For starters I've never been a food truck fan, but this place has won me over. Their tacos are delicious. I got two of almost everything on the menu. Birria & Steak are my favorite s. If you buy 4 Birria tacos you get the consume for free. Service is good. You can order at the truck or call in. There's a few tables there if you want to eat there for anyone interested. I highly recommend them. Price is good, service is good, food quality is top, truck and lot are clean.“
“On Thursday we stopped by La Fortaleza Lodi. Truly enjoyed the environment. Very authentic. Feels like Mexico close to home. Got to see an old mentor Genaro. We caught up. Took his recommendation of the Trompito y El machete. He was courteous and attentive. He has a passion for attention and observed him take care of his customers throughout the restaurant.Family was very pleased and truly want to come back and experience the beautiful setting at La Fortaleza Lodi. Truly a go to Mexican restaurant to experience and dine in.“
“Everything they cooked it's delicious very tasty and the place is very clean I recommend it to everyone that loves Mexican food to feel free and go to La Morenita and spend quality time with the family you won't be disappointed....“
“Tried this restaurant last night and I was impressed! The food was delicious. I had the barbacoa street tacos the meat was delicious. The rice and beans was delicious. The drinks were good. The music was good. A great vibe and I will be back to try some more of my faves. We sat at the bar and it was a good experience.“
“My coworkers and I had a pleasant experience the service was top notch she was extremely attentive. I ordered quesadillas and tamarind juice and everything was delicious ? my coworker also enjoyed their food over all pleasant experience will come again thank you.“
“This is an excellent place if you like the typical Mexican food. I have to say that I have started to like it because it is very varied and combines many vegetables that I did not know. In the mornings the restaurant is very busy because it seems that it is the favorite of many people for breakfast“
“The food here was excellent. Freshness and effort came through in all the dishes clearly. Everyone at the table loved their food - we ordered fish tacos, chicken fajitas nachos to share with everyone and our friends ordered the veg quesadillas and grilled veg Mexican bowl(it comes in a plate?). The restaurant also offers sauces with 3 different levels of spice which that added an additional element of flavour. The best thing is that they offer great service too ! Very warm and involved. Highly highly recommend this place! Hope to visit again ?Dietary restrictions: They accommodate orders very kindly. Please let them know of your allergies/restrictions before placing your order“
“Moras Take Out is a culinary gem! From the Tequenos to the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, each dish is a flavor-packed delight. The attention to detail and commitment to authenticity shine through in every bite. The diverse menu, including Quesadillas and Vaca Frita, caters to various tastes. The Kids Menu is a thoughtful touch. With impeccable service and a charming atmosphere, Moras Take Out earns a solid 5 stars. A must-visit for a genuine taste. I’m really happy the location it’s in very close to me. Family owed which gives it that home cook meal feel.“
“It is a small place but very cozy, it has a wide Colombian menu, I ordered the tripe and I really liked it, they have a menu for children, do not miss this experience since it is not a spicy food Low in salt, the rice has that garlic flavor and onion reminds us of the homemade “
“This is my favorite spot in Suffern! They have great comfort food with a decent selection of options. I'm always happy to stop by when I'm visiting home. Very friendly staff, and a casual and comfortable dining room, but not much seating. If you're looking for a good Mexican spot, this is absolutely worth a try.“
“Came here for lunch with my dad and enjoyed an awesome authentic experience. Music was festive as well as the atmosphere! Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave us breakdown of all the options to the dishes they prepared. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his Mexican style tacos and their freshly made salsa! Along with this the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend trying this place out!“
“I ordered chicken verde enchiladas, chicken tostadas, chicken Al pastor tacos ( 6 of them and they’re $2 each) , cheese flautas, and 3 jarritos. Everything came out to approx $56. The enchiladas were pretty good 9/10. Tacos were a bit dry 7/10 . Tostadas were a bit dry as well 7.5/10 . The cheese Flautas were 8/10 and I wish they put more creama on top instead of putting so much lettuce. I was mistaken though bc I thought my flautas were missing since I didn’t know it came with rice ( on the menu flautas are an appetizer so I didn’t know it was an actual entree with rice?) which I figured it was a side for the enchiladas and I saw a bed of lettuce which the flautas were hidden under?.. I immediately called the restaurant and they assured me it was packed but still offered to redo it free of charge. Overall the staff was kind, the food was good and the restaurant is well decorated but on a busy street! I always pass by and the line is always long and sometimes I even see people waiting outside! Definitely give it a try and I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy their authentic Mexican food ??“
“The taco craving hit us one Sunday so we decided to pick some up on our way home from running errands, at around 1:30. There is street parking so if you wait around long enough, you’ll be able to get a spot. We had the birria tacos, al pastor, and lengua. We originally wanted to try the oreja and campechanos but they didn’t have it that day. These are probably the best quesabirria tacos I’ve had in the area. I’m normally not a huge fan because it usually ends up being soggy, and I don’t really like braised meat, as it tends to be dry. That wasn’t the case here. The tacos were still crispy 20 minutes later, and the meat wasn’t dry. It was stuffed to the max with beef and cheese. The broth was also very good and not watery like most other places tend to be. The al pastor tacos and lengua tacos were also very good. They’re a bit smaller than similar taco spots in the neighborhood but it’s quality over quantity here. If they added fresh pineapple to the pastor, it would have brought the taco over the top. I also enjoyed their homemade (sauces). They have a kick to it but be careful with the dark chipotle looking one. One drop of that, and you’ll be good. Will definitely be back for some more tacos. Hopefully next time, they’ll have the oreja and campechano.“
“We have been waiting for a place like this to come to this area for awhile and now we have it! This is definitely the best authentic tacos and Mexican dishes in this area. You should go and try it. And it's a byobHow can you go wrong, delicious thanks!!!“
“If you're in Ridgewood and craving a taste of Mexico, look no further than Sombrero! Nestled in the heart of town, this gem of a taco spot delivers an authentic culinary experience that'll have your taste buds dancing with delight. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with an inviting atmosphere. As I perused the menu, I couldn't help but notice the friendly face of Alex S, who eagerly recommended their signature dish—the Sombrero Chicken Bowl. Trusting his recommendation, I decided to give it a try, and boy, am I glad I did! The Sombrero Chicken Bowl was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. Each bite was a burst of Mexican-inspired goodness that left me craving more. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail and the freshness of the ingredients. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff at Sombrero ensured that every customer was attended to promptly and with a smile. They always ask if everything is ok because if it’s not they will definitely fix it for you!Parking: Where they’re located is in a shopping plaza. “I love the food here they really know how to season Hispanic food correctly. I am addicted to the pizza Birria you must try it, but I am warning you will be addicted. I often get this to go, because I am always working, and the leftovers come out just as the day it was made - “
“My boyfriend was in the mood for Mexican, so I searched on Grubhub and this was the first time ordering from El Mirador and I have to say that it was awesome! So tasty, the food got to me still hot and the portion was just right! I am a foodie and the food here was fresh and great tasting. Will definitely be a regular customer!“
“This small hole in the wal restaurant serves excellent authentic Mexican food. Mostly a take out spot due to them having only a handful of tables inside. That being said the staff is friendly and welcoming when eating in house. We got an order of guacamole, tacos and chicken mole, all of which was fabulous. The kicker was the home made tortillas which were to die for ! Will be coming back to try more of the menu.“
“The food was the best. As a hispanic this is extremely authentic food and it is cooked to perfection. The service is extremely good and me and my family loved it. The waitress was the nicest guy out there. To be honest, I ordered a burrito and it came out so good. I I could I would eat there every day best Mexican food in the area?“
“OH! MY! GOD!!!! I just ate there today for the first time taking a risk and OMG it was SO GOOD!!! Also, the restaraunt is very clean and I love the decor on the inside. Small, intimate, but very nice and welcoming. I had fried fish and Yuca and it was absolutely divine“
“Wasn’t expecting much but was blown away by the guacamole and chips that we shared before our tacos were made. By far the BEST guacamole I have ever eaten along with perfect homemade chips. All 3 of us loved our taco selections and they even offer to make your tacos with a lettuce wrap instead of flour shell. We will definitely be back for more!??????“
“Great place located in a busy strip mall in the middle of wyckoff. It's in the same shopping center that has Marshalls on one end and sbux on the other. Kids always love this place and staff is always super friendly and smiling. Never had a bad meal .Food is always pretty quick and the drinks have a decent pour. Happy to have this establishment in the middle of town!“
