“Their a small family business so their hours can be erratic and sometimes they have to turn away folks at the door for dining in or even takeaway orders if they’re busy, which they can get pretty quickly, but it’s worth it. It almost has the vibes of going to an uncles house where they just want to feed you too much in the best way possible. Everything they serve is immaculate plus you get complimentary soup and tea right away and some of the tastiest sauces to go with the dishes, as well as complimentary fruit for dessert.”

“We stayed for 3 nights for our daughter's wedding. Our room was first class with w.c., large bath and large walk-in shower. It was quiet, facing the rear of the building. The front pedestrian way can be a bit noisy with revellers. Spotlessly clean, with aircon and fridge. The restaurant offered a varied evening menu, and the cuisine was superb. Likewise, a good choice for breakfast, and large portions. I had the 2 egg breakfast, and the eggs were cooked precisely to my instructions. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. This was my second visit, and I look forward to my third.”

“We recently ordered a custom made Black Forest cake for an event. The presentation of the cake upon pickup was spectacular! We followed the verbal and written instructions. The cake was amazing, it was moist , icing was not sweet & it looked beautiful on the plates . “First day in St.John's. As vegetarians, we were so happy to find such a cute & cozy spot with such healthy and flavourful food options.

We had the soup of the day - butternut squash. Perfect on a cool October afternoon. We then had the Enchilada. Stuffed full of flavour. My only ask would have been to have an authentic, fresh, spicy salsa option.

The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. The price for some of the add-on options are a little high, but otherwise the actual item prices are very reasonable.”

“Myself and hubby went for a drive and ended up here for early supper yesterday… I had the best seafood chowder ever!!!! And I order chowder everywhere lol… and 1/2 Greek salad was delicious! Husband had chicken clubhouse and fries and was completely satisfied!! (His a big eater.. lol) We both had Quidi Vidi beers and the choice was amazing, servers and service was wonderful! We will be back and would recommend to others!!”
