But the best part of this whole experience is the husband and wife duo that run the restaurant. I have never experienced better service in my life. This place is my new absolute favourite spot! “Their burrito is delicious, crispy around the tortilla, paired nicely with a few Blue Star lagers. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was very kind despite. “Probably the best meal I’ve ever had! My steak was cooked to perfection and so juicy. My husband’s lobster came out on a sizzling platter and it hit all the senses! We had a few other tastings and everything hit the mark. Great atmosphere, beautiful views, you can’t go wrong. Thank you, to you and your staff for our first meal in Newfoundland an excellent one!“

The service was great & the food was amazing. I picked up lunch for a party 6 & ordered fish & chips. I live in Nova Scotia & never order fish & chips because the batter is too heavy & deep fried is just gross. Based on a recommendation from my sister in law, I did order the fish & chips & it was wonderful. Made with Cod & a light beer batter it was the best fish & chips & dressing & gravy. Then I had a cup of seafood chowder that was again the best I ever had plus I ordered home made raspberry cake with cream cheese frosting & a homemade partridge berry cake with the same frosting (with 6 forks) becausecwecwere too full for our own desserts. The perfect ending to a perfect meal. The only drawback had nothing to do with the restaurant. We had to park on a side street because a big white truck was taking up 2 spots & they weren't customers. They got out of the vehicle & took a stroll around Petty Harbour. Rude!!!! I had a sprained ankle & would have appreciated a place to park.“

“I've been to Jack Astor's a bunch of times for their wings and chicken tenders. They're probably the best in the city. The service is always great at this location but on our last visit, Kayla went out of her way on a few menu requests without hesitation. “I’m visiting St. John’s for a conference and this was my third meal in town and by far the best so far!
Of course the oysters are the focus, and they were delicious. I was with a group of eight so we ordered the shuckers platter, fresh, briny and tasting like the ocean. I like spice and until this meal have been disappointed in the tentative additions of heat. Great tastes: the kung pao cod, chili noodles side dish, Korean chicken. Surprise item: spicy tuna on rice cakes!!! Honourable mentions crispy cauliflower. Lots of tasty taco’s
Kimchi Caesar!!!! Ask for extra hot but it comes with an oyster balanced on top along with olive, pickle and lime skewer.

“I’ve visited Boston pizza too much times to count. Alone, with my family, & with coworkers. The food is consistent. I don’t think I’ve ever not liked the food or didn’t like anything.

They are very aware and great with small kids. They take orders and communicate clearly if something is backed up.

The servers and managers are always nicely and neatly dressed and friendly.

I would always choose Boston pizza for a night out and if I want consistent good food. PSA I say all of this as a foreigner with foreign taste buds.“
