“I tried this place back when it was in the same parking lot as Ta-Lin and recently went back. I got a Thai Tea, sandwich with onion tofu, and tofu spring rolls. The Thai tea was smooth and not too sweet, the spring rolls were huge and the dipping sauce was a great peanut sauce, but the sandwich stole the show. The bread was so fresh, the vegetables accented the flavor perfectly, and the tofu was prepared so excellently. The portion was also huge and perfect to split.

The restaurant itself was crowded but still nice- the decor really brought a bit of the feeling of Hanoi to Albuquerque. The prices were also quite reasonable. The service was quick service, but friendly and fast enough. I’ll definitely be back and soon.“

“I don't have a single negative thing to say. This is easily the best bakery I've found in Albuquerque so far. Everything we got was fantastic.

There's a half-dozen option that lets you select most (all?) of the pastries on display for about $36. It saves you about a dollar per pastry, so it's a pretty nice deal.

“I have lived in the area for four years and have never visited. I finally dropped in this week to order a sandwich. Unfortunately, they stop serving sandwiches after 5 PM. However, they were super gracious and offered me a generous sample of bread with delicious honey butter. I purchased their blue ribbon, blueberry coffee cake, which was reasonably priced as as well as delicious. It was frankly the best pastry I’ve ever had in the city. In addition to their friendly service and delicious bread and pastries, they also have a great selection of mustard, honey, as well as pancake mix and all sorts of other goodies. I will definitely be back for sandwiches at a reasonable hour. I highly recommend this place.“

“My family chose A Heavenly Taste for our first grandchild’s baby shower. I had purchased a special bundle which came with a variety of desserts perfect for the dessert table. I gave inspo photos and some direction but ultimately we left it to the artist. This was not a mistake as she knew the assignment! My only regret was not ordering extras. “We got there just before closing and it smelled delicious. The owner was putting things up for the day but brought out the pastries for us to pick from. We bought the cross between the croissant and blueberry muffin, cinnamon roll and pistachio croissant. They were all so good and Shawn was a remarkable business owner. Even if you have to go out of your way, if you are any where around Albuquerque stop in Old Town and get a delightful pastry made from one of the best pastry chef around. I cant wait to go back. Johnny is fantastic and was a joy to work with! “I love that they offer a summer reading program. Kids who read over 400 minutes a month can get a free buntlet for June and July.

My two kids were very determined to read every day to make sure they reached their goal and earned their cake.

This was our first time visiting. The store was setup beautifully. It was very welcoming and the staff was also kind and welcoming.

My kids chose confetti and lemon buntlets for thier rewards. They were good size where I could share a few bites and they still had plenty. The flavors were delicious! The cake was moist and the frosting was a good pairing.
