“Really wanted to love this place since we’ve been pescatarian since January but it was just OK. We went on Sunday for breakfast. At a bit after 9:00 there was a person wearing headphones setting up the outdoor tables. We went inside and looked at the menu while standing at the counter.Turns out the headphone-wearing person was also the one who would take our order. She asked if we were dining in. We said yes. She said there were outdoor tables but the inside tables weren’t ready. We said we’d wait for one of the 3 or 4 inside tables because they just needed to take the chairs down and wipe them off. She didn’t make haste to ready the table.I had the blue corn waffle (I love the blue corn waffles across the street at the IPCC’s restaurant). This waffle was much denser than I expected — it was difficult to cut with a fork. The flavor was good.My wife had the avocado toast. She said the bread was very tasty.A little better hospitality would help a lot. The prices run on the high side. We’re OK with that and pay that frequently when we go out. “Quick stay in Albuquerque and we found ourselves at this little jewel! The atmosphere and vibe were very cool. We started with a salad with apple, gorgonzola and vinaigrette. That was delish. Then the thin crust pizza came out and was phenomenal. Crispy crust and perfect toppings! Finally, we had a little room left for a sweet treat. Even though we didn’t see mention of vegan cheese on the menu, they have it - along with well prepared tofu - and were very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Our dishes were so delicious as were the Lush Lattes, which are a work of art. Amy and Rebecca are great! They are personable and fun, and made our dining experience pleasurable. We come to Albuquerque from Santa Fe periodically and will be looking forward to many more wonderful meals at Cafe Lush.“

There was one gluten free item: a large oatmeal pancake with fruit on the top, a blueberry sauce and maple syrup on the side. There was a long wait to get in, but you can check in online to reserve a spot in line. The app will tell you what the wait is and message you when the time is up.“

“Stopped in today with one of my suppliers. He frequents the restaurant though it was my first time. Menu had a lot of gems on it but when I saw the Monte Cristo I was done debating on what to eat. Food came out pretty quickly, and the service was fair. It was after the rush so I expected a bit better service since it wasn't busy. The food was pretty good. 3/5 on Monte Cristos I have eaten before. I think the big thing it lacked was the powdered sugar on the toast and real jam. It hand some weird fruit flavored syrup. “It's time for another Albuquerque restaurant review ... and the biggest takeaway from today's experience is "unexpected at every turn." This cute little restaurant is located in a "hip" area, and is bigger inside than it looks outside. Mazaya Cafe #mazayacafealbuquerque was recommended by google after looking up "Falafel." This place advertises itself as "Mediterranean Fusion"... so it begs to question: Fused with what? Mark and I spent the meal trying to figure that out ! (Turns out it's a blend of cuisines including Greek, Lebanese, and others!). The owners are from Nepal. I've eaten plenty of falafel in my days, so when I go to a new restaurant, I always make it a habit to order them ;-). These were nice and crispy on the outside but remained tender on the inside. Shawarma (chicken) was where we experienced the "Fusion" part. This one had raisins and other complementary spices (I believe I tasted cinnamon and coriander but ... please, please don't hold me to that!). The decor was also blended. The waiter was attentive and our experience was absolute delightful! Definitely a 5/5 in my book ;-). “I don’t have a photo because we ate them too fast! Next time. A delicious and unique tasty treat. LindasDolci has delicious Italian treats. We have now visited many times and tried numerous creations, including some of the vegan options. We always imagine her recipes being shared amongst family weddings and neighbors in Italy. It tasted like my Italian great grandmas came to my kitchen today, what a treat. Nothing was artificial or too sweet, the store displays looked fresh and overall lovely. I had the Machaca with eggs and she the stuffed sopapillia and both were delicious! There were a couple of folks dining in when we arrived and our food order came out quickly. By the time we were finished there were more folks trickling in. Overall a nice place to eat lunch, with good Mexican food at a reasonable price!“

The plate had a sauce, then the noodles, then it was piled with vegetables and chicken. We also had spring rolls. A friend got wonton soup. I've never seen wonton soup look so good.
