“Come in - look at menu on wall - order & sit down with your #. I really dig the diner atmosphere of this location. Tunes were good, walls had art for sale (which I thought was kinda random).
Food: Really good variety of sandwiches to choose from.
Very tasteful sammich, meal included a side & “Gourmet” is in the name so you’ll pay a bit more. I got the LOBO BEEF & pasta salad. Beef on an Alpinette bun was good quality & plentifully delicious but the sandwich was only 8” cut in half (see pic). Pasta salad was creamy and legit, imo. Decent portion unless you rolled in with serious hunger…. Wife n I got sandwich meals (w/side), no drinks •• $32.“

“Everything at this location was great.My problem with Firehouse Subs is their rewards program. After amassing a large amount of credit the app stopped working and multiple attempts to remedy the problem have failed.I happened to catch the District Manager at this location today. He agreed to check into the problem and text me back. Here is his reply, "Hi Robert. Here is what my corporate contact sent me:'.... unfortunately we don’t have a live person he can talk to. The app utilizes a chat bot as soon as you click the contact us option."'Firehouse Subs' rewards program is controlled by a third party entity. I think that if the folks controlling the rewards program can not be reached and I lose all my acquired credits I will exercise my right to take my business elsewhere.My Jersey Mike's app still works just fine. Def going back!! Crystal also talked to me about the catering side of things and those options once she found out I was the GM of a local business. “There are no Schlotzsky's anywhere close to where I live, so visiting one while in New Mexico is always a treat! This location, on San Mateo in Albuquerque, has never failed to disappoint! The employees were very polite, friendly, and helpful. I was torn between two different turkey sandwiches, so I asked the lady taking our order which one she would choose if she had to, and went with her recommendation, the Avocado Turkey, and was very happy I went with it! The sourdough bun, which is pretty much the reason I have loved Schlotzsky's over the years, was perfectly warmed and so ridiculously tender, it seemed like it had just been pulled from the oven! Additionally, the turkey was outstanding and piled so high it was practically falling out of the bun! I will never complain about that! My sandwich, and that of the other person I was with, were outstanding and well worth every penny! The third person with us ordered broccoli and cheese soup and was very happy with it! All in all, great employees, clean and well maintained lobby, and delicious and fantastic food, I absolutely recommend this location, and will definitely be returning several times during our visit to Albuquerque!“

I moved to the East side and ordered at two different shops near the new apartment (Wyoming near Indian School)- app orders were wrong and/or my bread would be rock hard and crumble as I unrolled it. I checked the last time before I left so I wouldn't have trip drive back (or deal with it and just eat it) and again it was just awful... I gave up!

Moved again, near Wyoming and Paseo - just recently someone at work told me to give this location a try. I finally did -
THANK GOODNESS! Immediately, the atmosphere feels better, they even said hello in stead of continuing their personal side conversation.. I was already excited.
It was an app order so I gave my name and got my order and told them how they already won me over. The sandwiches were perfect when I got home. So, now I'm hooked!

“Go Monday for the mushroom soup. The manager makes you feel like family. The food is great. The Rio Grande and the chicken Salad are two of my favorites. The Waldorf salad is always fresh. It's not fancy but the portions are generous and the price is right“

“Firehouse Subs at this location gets five stars for exceptional....above and beyond service! We needed a caterer that could bring the whole meal deal to our memorial service/reception. The online menu had the exact sandwich package we were looking for but delivery to the reception was crucial. I called in advance to make sure all was good and Ally the manager reassured me she would take care of delivery and provided her private cell number. I ordered the sandwich platters in person and Daniel gave me the attention and the confidence that everything would be tasty and on time.
As promised our three deluxe sandwich platters with chips, cookies, beverages and more were on time and presented in a way in required nothing else, just cups for the drinks. Daniel personally delivered it knowing how important it was. We got a variety of sandwiches with two different meats. My sandwich, an Italian sub was delicious and tasted as if it had just been made! So much to do at a church service to accommodate the schedule with family and friends. Firehouse Subs at Montgomery Plaza came through with flying colors. Being friendly, professional and reliable was a bonus to the delicious sandwiches!“

“I think the negative reviews are lies! I went to 2 different subways and one was completely out of toppings, and the other was closed for construction. Came to this location as a last resort and the staff was extremely welcoming, the place was clean and there was a full selection of meats and toppings. Staff was very friendly and made my sandwhich exactly how I wanted without any attitude. They asked how my day was going as well which I appreciated. Thank you, we will be back!!“

“Warmly greeted as I entered. Front counter help was friendly, offered good recommendations and suggestions that upgraded the sandwich without additional cost to the order. I ordered 1/2 sandwich and soup. The Rancher Chicken Bacon sandwich with added veggies was very well made. The Broccoli Cheddar soup tasted very good. Tables were not all wiped down and some of those were overly wet from recent cleaning. It is however a nice place to have a mid-day meal away from the office or as a simple outing. The use of coupons (digital point system) made this visit an affordable yet very tasty meal. Solid 4 ⭐ this visit.

Parking: Parking is shared with an entire commercial center but you can get lucky enough to park right in front of the store.“

“I had an amazing experience today at this Jimmy John's. I had 5 minutes for a break. I order my food online and when I get there 3 minutes later. It's ready. Not only is it ready but the food was absolutely amazing. Fresh and just like the picture. The way everything was wrapped showed just how professional this store is. I even got napkins and a straw. I know that sounds silly. But it seems more times than most nowadays that anywhere you go there is always something missing. No napkins. No straws. Or just thrown into a bag. I just had to say that is not the case here. It was actually surprising to get such fast good and fresh product from a place that I only spent 15 bucks at. Well done.“

“3 stars ⭐ My coworker had raved about this place, saying it was a step up from Subway, no nitrate meat, and using a special oil aioli. So, my expectations were high. We had ordered the sub party box. Classic, the super ham, turkey, and veggie- I tried the turkry. Servings were literally like the butt of the bread. Too much lettuce compared to meat, although looks can be deceiving. Pairs good with the drli mayo. And, normally I'm not a huge fan of provolone like is offered on the subs (I mean I'll eat it but why can't we all just love cheddar and call it good??). Overall, it was a nice gesture.“

“Been awhile since I had been in a Which Wich. (back visiting Dallas) Wife & I decided to give this one a try. Service was outstanding! Melanie was able to help us through the process of how to order. I thought I remembered how, but left some things out. She quickly assisted us to get the order perfect. Wife didn't want chips, but she recommended fries, WHO CAN TURN DOWN FRIES! I never even knew that was an option. Kaleb stepped up to finish our order, while Melanie began helping others. What a great team of employees. Kaleb got our sandwiches out first, fries came out next. Hot & delicious . These two employees customer service skills will keep me coming back. Now next important thing was food. Our sandwiches were great, fresh taste, perfect to what we wanted. As I said fries were great. I love the perfectly crushed ice from the machine. Lots of choices to drink soooooo ice tea it is. The building was clean, easy choice in seating, nice view of Sandias, plenty of room for a group. Some people added their own art to the walls. It's kind of a fun touch or connection with the place. Parking lot is a little quirky. No way can a RV, large truck, or vehicle with trailer fit, so you will have to figure that out. We highly recommend this place for the reasons above.“

“Today was the first time we ate here. I always pass by, and I figured i'm going to stop.
It is a bit pricey for 2 sandwiches, but we did get some tea and chips as well. Don't leave out the brownie! It's a cozy little place inside.You also have an option to eat outside. They have a couple of tables outside for dining. I ordered a Turkey sandwich, and my son ordered a bacon ranch. And when he was eating.He said, "This is really good." My son is a sandwich pro, and when he tells you that, believe him, it's good. The Turkey meat on my sandwich tasted so good, compared to other places. I believe for the first time I was eating turkey meat. The parking can be a bit challenging since there's a lot of businesses there, but it's worth a small walk if you have to. I would grab a sandwich from there again.“

Years ago, I, like everyone else worked at Subway & she asked all the questions at once, ending with toasted or untoasted.Len was diligent, attentive, and friendly. I had half of my sandwich be pepper jack and the other American; they asked if I wanted to upgrade for extra cheese… I said no, but I appreciate the offer. He also asked if I wanted it wrapped separately; labeled.. wasn’t necessary for me but felt worth praising.
