“What a treat! I wish I'd learned about Metro Subs years ago. A literal mom-and-pop (daughter made my sandwich), just the kind one likes to support.

So, I was feeling like a sandwich and decided to try this little place in the Heights. Lots of parking, SUPER clean, welcoming, small but with good seating for pairs (inside and out) and great tunes playing (an eclectic and upbeat playlist - I liked every song during my visit, but several were new to me). An impressive menu (I've put up two shots of the menu board so as to help with any reflection issues) and just the nicest folks working. You know - immediately attentive and friendly, but then leaving you alone while you enjoy your food . . . asking to make sure everything's okay, but giving you your space.

But you're here for the food, right? Well, it's quite reasonably priced and generously portioned. My hot pastrami was the California sort (not the fatty NYC sort of my childhood) and it came fairly loaded with juicy meat and just the perfect amount of the dressing I'd requested as well as an ideal amount of cheese. On an ethereally soft, fresh roll - ah, this today was the best sandwich roll I've had so far this year. Just a masterpiece. The sandwich (served with a bag of chips) was delicious and the price of the cold soda (a buck?!) was kind of amazing these days.

They had really good looking brownies on the counter for $2, but I resisted. Kinda regretting that now that I'm back home remembering them. Ah well, I'll have to return soon!“

He took his time, made sure everything was fresh, and paid attention to every detail. It’s rare to find customer service this good these days, and Dennis truly went above and beyond.

“The Tea really sucks. I mean get anything else. Seriously. Subway Tea here is like bathing in lukewarm water because you have too. You need to be clean, but damn if only it were a little bit better. And so you just sit there thinking about how it could be better making a worse experience. Well the Tea is just enough to barely taste, and it's exactly the right temperature to make it like drinking water water with a hint of leaf. That all being said, the sandwich was really awesome, actually the best sandwich I've had at any Subway, and Tyler went out of his way to make the experience easier altogether. I am in a wheelchair, so he gave me curbside delivery. Very good service. Especially considering the weather was pouring down earlier, and the wind was still up.“

“3 stars ⭐ My coworker had raved about this place, saying it was a step up from Subway, no nitrate meat, and using a special oil aioli. So, my expectations were high. We had ordered the sub party box. Classic, the super ham, turkey, and veggie- I tried the turkry. Servings were literally like the butt of the bread. Too much lettuce compared to meat, although looks can be deceiving. Pairs good with the drli mayo. And, normally I'm not a huge fan of provolone like is offered on the subs (I mean I'll eat it but why can't we all just love cheddar and call it good??). Overall, it was a nice gesture.“

“We have lived overseas for almost a decade now, so we haven't been to a schlotzky's in years. The food is okay, but not as we remember. The music is great, the restaurant is clean. The people working seemed a little confused and they didn't understand when we asked for vinegar for our sandwiches. Luckily Kalvin overheard and made sure to bring it to our table and it saved the night. It is a bit pricey for 2 sandwiches, but we did get some tea and chips as well. Don't leave out the brownie! It's a cozy little place inside.You also have an option to eat outside. They have a couple of tables outside for dining. I ordered a Turkey sandwich, and my son ordered a bacon ranch. And when he was eating.He said, "This is really good." My son is a sandwich pro, and when he tells you that, believe him, it's good. The Turkey meat on my sandwich tasted so good, compared to other places. I believe for the first time I was eating turkey meat. The parking can be a bit challenging since there's a lot of businesses there, but it's worth a small walk if you have to. I would grab a sandwich from there again.“

Customer service was on point, I was attended to quickly and with kindness. I liked that they gave me an option to eat in house or to go, and I appreciated that they gave me information on the deals happening that day. The lobby was immaculate and so was the food service area and the employee work area. The employees were kind to one another and seemed to work well together.

The food was great; everything was fresh and they followed my directions on how I wanted my sandwich perfectly.

I used to work at Subway and this location goes above and beyond the standards required. I could tell they have a good baker, as the cookies and bread that they make in house were perfect. Best Subway in Albuquerque!“

Years ago, I, like everyone else worked at Subway & she asked all the questions at once, ending with toasted or untoasted.Len was diligent, attentive, and friendly. I had half of my sandwich be pepper jack and the other American; they asked if I wanted to upgrade for extra cheese… I said no, but I appreciate the offer. He also asked if I wanted it wrapped separately; labeled.. wasn’t necessary for me but felt worth praising. “the staff were really nice. recommended the chicken bacon and the also recommended the protein pockets. store was clean, even after a long line, one of them immediately went to clean the lobby and restock stuff, which was nice to see. they all seem to care!“

“The customer service was amazing, but the temperature of the restaurant was WAY too hot, it is completely against health codes for the owners to neglect the repairs of air-conditioning. Customers and employees are sweating just being in the building. It was just as hot if not hotter inside the building than outside and it was high nineties as of the posting of this review.“
