“I love going to this place in the afternoon and having appetizers, tasting wine, and talking with friends. They have a lovely selection of wine flights. Almost all the wines bearing the Lescombes name--their reserve wines--are wonderful but pricey. The 921 line is middle priced and good. I especially like the rose. The food is uniformly tasty. I especially like the shrimp jalapeño bacon appetizer and the charcuterie. The winery in Deming is also worth a visit. I believe the Lescombes family makes the best wine in New Mexico.“

Noisy Water Winery Winery • $$
301 Romero St NW, Albuquerque

“I love the atmosphere here and I love that we can sit outside and enjoy old town. My one wish is that noisy water had a non-alcoholic wine or champagne to accommodate those of us who love to be social, but do not participate in alcohol. Please please gift us with a NA wine soon?“

Victor's Home Brew Wineries • $
2436 San Mateo Pl NE, Albuquerque

“I had the pleasure of meeting the owner my first time there. Being completely new at all grain brewing, he was extremely helpful in getting the right ingredients I needed. If he didn't have the exact ingredient, he would provide and explain an alternative that would match what I was trying to make. Also, they do a solid job of grinding the grains properly and explaining why it's crucial to a brew. Thanks so much for all of your help and guidance. I'll be back again for my next batch recipe.“

Pasando Tiempo Winery and Vineyards Wineries • $$
3741 NM-528, Albuquerque

“This is a review on the new location. $14 for a 4oz glass of wine, and $14 for a flight of total 4oz? They’re clearly trying to recoup costs of opening a big space and hosting other wineries. I can’t blame them, but I just paid $28 plus tip for about a glass of wine. The wines are good, but the experience was so much more enjoyable when it was in the original, cozy location and the wine was clearly a labor of love (for making good wine) vs a big money-making situation. Wonderful people and I do wish them the best. I just hope they can make prices and experience more reasonable again some day.“

VARA Winery & Distillery Winery •
315 Alameda Blvd NE, Albuquerque

“I would highly recommend this place to any foodie. My husband took me on a date and we sat inside. It has a very industrial feel, so to be more romantic I would recommend to sit outside. The food at this restaurant is exquisite. we ordered the seafood paella and duck. I wish I could have ordered 3 more plates of duck. It was small but savory, rich and decadent. The small paella was enough to feed a small family. I would definitely go back and order the same thing!“

“Me and my boyfriend were members before we moved out of state and honestly... this is maybe the only thing I'll miss about Albuquerque, you gotta go! Their staff can tell you anything about any of the wines and if you're getting some snacks, can't go wrong with a charcuterie board.“
