“I have never had anything to eat or drink that was not state of the art. The service is impeccable and wonderful. The only thing I wish they could fix would be more parking area but seeing the location of the restaurant, I can understand this dilemma. I love going here and would always recommend it to others“
“Wish I could give more stars. They got us in on a Saturday night without a reservation and gave us an amazing table. Our server was wonderful and our food was beyond delicious. Their fillet and butter poached lobster tails are out of this world. The entire experience was so perfect that we made a reservation for the next night and ate there again only to have an even better experience because we tried more menu items. Romaine salad was like a much tastier Caesar and the seafood spaghetti is also a huge yes. This place is a MUST visit when in Taos, so call in advance to ensure you get a table!“
“Meal was wonderful. I forget what it was called though. Here is a picture. They are on the second floor and it is confusing how to enter, especially if the other downstairs restaurant is closed. Facing the building, go to the left end of building. There is a double glass door into a dark alcove that looks like an entrance to a closed restaurant. Try the doors. If they are unlocked take steps to the left to enter.“
“Great craft cocktails (which change seasonally), locally made spirits, cozy atmosphere, live music on many nights - what else do you need?Vegetarian options: Any food item on their menu can be veggie - just have them leave the meat off of the cheese platter. They also have spiced nuts, olives, and breadsticks.Parking: There’s parking around the corner on Bent Street, on the Plaza, and in the John Dunn Shops parking lot. Metered but free after 5 pm.Kid-friendliness: People do bring kids, but it’s a cocktail bar atmosphere. Outside is better.Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult. The entire Taos historic district is tough on anyone with mobility issues. Sidewalks are narrow and in bad repair, and curbs don’t have wheelchair ramps. Once you get into the lounge, however, it’s all on one level.“
“We Arrived at Taphouse near closing time, we felt a kindove bad about being there late. But our serve Alina came to our table and made us feel so welcomed and informed about the beers and food menu! Thank you so much Alina for your great service and awesome attitude!“
“The spicy chicken tortilla soup is actually life changing. Forget them having the best margaritas in town - you can’t come without having this soup. 15/10.Edit: back again the next day, had to prove it wasn’t a desert mirage. It wasn’t. The soup is real.“
“I love this place! It's at the crossroads of 150, 64, and 68. a great central location for meeting people coming from many different directions. It's a huge space and there's a fabulous backyard with an amazing view of Taos mountain. I went to the Super Bowl party last night and they set up two projectors, and had all four TVs broadcasting the game! It was a blast! There were raffles and prizes throughout the game! I took full advantage of the Super Bowl special, and had wings and beer on the cheap!“
“Three of us had an absolutely fabulous dinner at the BBTavern Friday evening. The tavern was very cozy and the staff attentive to every detail. I recommend the salmon, but my son had a most amazing filet mignon... and the calamari was some of the best I've ever had.Based on the dinner experience, I tried a Goldilox Bagel at the Cafe the next morning and was blown away. Apparently the bagels are homemade and are really amazing! I guess I will be back every morning I'm here trying a different bagel combination... Oh, and try the cappuccino - perfection!“
“Finally tried this restaurant we did take out and do have a ways home so understand it wasn't still hot but that being said was still warm and good. My husband had the chicken fried steak. I had a philly and besides the bread being a bit burnt it was good. We enjoyed the side salad and pickle fries! The regular fries are not for us! Can't wait to try more on the menu and dine in! ?“
“Had a good meal hear on our second night in Taos. ( my family has eaten at other Heritage properties) The food was good I had the steak and my wife had the pasta. Both were delicious and the desert was pretty phenomenal get the Smore! Service was fine and probably my only complaint was our waitress was pleasant but overall friendly and with so few people not as attentive as expected. I actually had to get up and get my own drink when wanted to what whiskeys they had. I would have figured she could have either suggested one or restaurant should make a list of what they have. I feel if I have to get up and look myself then that takes away from the experience. I really enjoyed the meal and again the food is good . So this complaint is really just for constructive criticism“
“Most beautiful quaint atmosphere & to die for Margaritas!Live music every night, the night we were there Bob Andrews was playing, world renowned keyboardist and producer, he played with Graham Parker!Excellent customer service as well!Parking: Parking is behind the Inn.“
“I gave it a 5.I tried Mexican cuisine several times and was not delighted. I went to the establishment on the first floor, but there were no people there, so we went up to the second floor to the Gorge Bar where it was noisy. We decided to stay. The food arrived quickly and, to my surprise, everything was delicious.“
“Our party of 6 enjoyed fine cocktails and dining at this lovely resort. We booked through the Open Table app. It was a quiet room, surprisingly on a holiday weekend when you couldn't get a table anywhere in town or North. Prices were high, but the quality was excellent. We had a fun outing.“
“You're a fool if your on the way to Taos Ski Valley and don't stop in on the way up. This is a MUST for all visitors in the area. GREAT burritos and service too. Lena was an excellent host and I had a lifechanging conversation with her while she made my delicious breakfast. You may pick up some groceries too, and hit the bar on the way back into Taos for a celebration beverage after a long day skiing.I'm a fan of small businesses and this is a family owned and operated place for like over 50 years or something. This is the kind of place you can stop in every year, and I'll bet they will remember you each time! Love it!!!“
