We stopped by on our way through and it was a pleasant surprise. The lady in charge was real friendly and the customer service was top notch. The dining area out back was nice and clean, the Philmont and Scouting memorabilia were a nice touch as well. All in all would recommend for anyone who finds themselves looking for a bite to eat in the Cimarron area.
Woke up and craved some breakfast burritos, so got a coffee at Hiker's and walked down to Burrito Banquet that advertised breakfast around 10AM. Kathleen, the owner, was setting up and informed us that she only does lunch these days and would be open at 11. So we went to the Aztec Mill Museum to kill some time and came back right at 11 to get our craving fulfilled. My daughter said that Kathleen was beautiful with a wonderful smile that shone past the packed canon on her hip....read full review

This place was incredible. If I could give it six stars I would. The lady running it is incredibly friendly and encouraging. I forgot her name already but I won't forget her smile. Perfect place for going after a few days of backpacking.
