“The Cabana bar and grill in Elephant Butte is a gem! I feel so lucky to live in such an awesome community and have this place as my regular hang! Everyone that works here is amazing and so talented! I have traveled quite a bit so far in my life and this feels like I am on a Caribbean island but I can drive home…. Win win! And just as an added bonus there are fans, misters, flat screens and a roof for shade. Don’t miss out on shark week specialty drinks this week and next week!”

“If I could describe that first bite in one word, it would be yummy. Me and some buddies were living it up in the desert all day and we were on the verge of starvation when we stumbled across Lihns restaurant. With a foot in the grave, he took our order. Very well dressed and friendly man. We had a nice area to sit and wait, and in 10 minutes our food was hot and ready. Best 13$ I’ve ever spent. I’d pay upwards of 1000$ for a smell of that chicken. If I was on a deserted island, I’d bring a lighter, machete, and a meal from Lihns rice and noodles. 10/10 stars would eat again. It fr came with an egg roll.

“Good beers and cocktails in a quirky little NM town. Visited on a mellow Tuesday night. No TVs, which I appreciate. Bartender was attentive, quiet, and polite. It would have been better if he was more engaging. Aside from that, the brewery is nice, beer is top-notch and worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“Decided to give this place a chance. Decor wasn’t great but the food was. I had a pulled pork sandwich, waffle fries and cole slaw, the wife had a salad. Food came out quick , fries were hot, bun was soft and the coleslaw has a unique taste, very nice. Wife’s salad was cold and crisp. Peach tea actually tasted like peach. Servers very polite. No complaints about this restaurant.”

“Stopped by on our way out of town and what a surprise! We travel in our campervan and go to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops.
Right when we walked in we got a smile and a warm welcome. Coffee was excellent and the breakfast sandwich’s were hot and tasty.
We will be back on our next time through town.”

“Black Cat has shrunk and there are fewer books to browse and tables to sit at. However, its revival is still a great joy and a welcome resource. We’re so lucky to have it back! The dark roast is good, there are a variety of treats, and the new proprietors are friendly and open to suggestions. I like being able to see out the windows more, with the book display shelves removed. It’s lighter, and there are some very nice houseplants in the window. I’d like to have fresh rather than packaged pastries, but this is a start-up and it takes time to make it all work.”

“Honestly so happy we tried this place my daughter and I. Best rib eye in a long time! We decided to take a mini trip from El Paso to T or C. This will def be one of our fav spots to visit in T or C. Price was awesome and food was great! Our server was amazing! Hope we get him again next time!”

“Like this place, but they let it go down hill. It looks trashy, most all the stalls are broken, you can only order off of a few. They really need to work on the outside of the building.

Parking: Make sure the menu works otherwise you are looking for a parking place”
