“Well Parasol is a unique restaurant that serves uniquely New Mexican food.
I frequent the area for my job and I always stop and pick up food to take home. My wife knows when I go to the Espanola area. She patiently waits for a tasty dinner.
The hardest part is having them in my car while I take the ride home. I have been known to order an extra Taco for the carrying charge.”

“This establishment may be small and somewhat hidden away from the middle of town, but it serves the best BBQ around for miles! Definitely my entire family's new favorite spot. We are all hooked on the pulled pork and ribs, potatoe salad is yummy also, plus we can't leave without treats for our canine family members. You really need to try it...The service is awesome, Sarah is really sweet and helpful, and Avery is the BEST!!! I wish them much success, I really wish I could give them a much higher rating.”

“Building doesn't look like much from outside but inside is a different story. Painted nicely with murals on walls and floors shiny and clean. Very good for gluten free options. Food was cooked to order and fresh. Guacamole was very tasty. Servi e was superb in this little family jewel.”

“La Fonda del Sol catered my father’s memorial service last weekend; the food was delicious and the service fantastic. We had the green chili enchiladas and taquiza with beans and rice. We highly recommend La Fonda del Sol’s food and service for events.”

“My husband said we should have eaten dessert first! The food was so good it was difficult to imagine the dessert would have been easy better. and yet… oh my goodness! The sopaipilla and fried ice cream were so scrumptious we did not eat until the next day because we were so full from the meal. Sincerely, you are doing yourself a disservice if you miss the restaurant. It is right off of the main highway, making it both visible and easy to find. we were lucky enough to be there on a day when they had a farmers market across the street with piñons and other goodies you could take home. DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT!!!!”

“my experience today was just awful. waitress was nice and prompt, atmosphere nice.. cook was overheard by my family and I while we were eating when waitress asked for our order of fries that we had orded with the rest of order and cook responded that the fries were not on the ticket , which they were,and we heard him say 'me vale madre' !!!.. dang .. also mentioned the rude comment to Joann herself, she said she would talk to the cook about it later..”

“Visited Denny’s in Espanola NM yesterday and was very satisfied with the service and the food. Our Waiter was really on top of it and polite. The food was really good. Manager on top of it too. Hadn’t been to a Dennys in a long time but me and my Dad enjoyed it.”

“We stopped to eat before continuing our journey to Taos, and it was by far the most flavorful food I’ve had.

We ordered the soft tacos plate along with an enchilada filled with asada and barbacoa. Everything tasted amazing, with authentic Latin flavors in every bite, from the rice to the meats. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.”
