“We cannot visit Cruces without stoping for a Caliche frozen Custard. I am not a soft serve fan, but this frozen custard is not a typical soft serve. It is dense, creamy and rich. The Fudge brownie bliss is a decadent favorite, but my go-to is the big Hawaiian, pineapple, coconut, banana and salted pecans...healthy, right? Lol.
The hot dogs also make a nice snack.
The staff are always friendly and fun in all the locations. How could they not be happy selling such joy?“

“Having just moved to Las Cruces, was looking for new places to try. Stumbled across Cafe de Mesilla, and was not disappointed. A very quaint and charming little restaurant with one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! I could live off the country potatoes alone! Perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!“

“Okay so i got the combination fried rice right, extra spicy. i LOVE spice i’ve had this rice before, always extra spicy. OKAY BUT NEVER TO GO BEFORE.
so i open my food and im like oh i have 2 pounds of rice and a little container of extra spice and im like thats not enough. ok well im dying, it was actually more than enough, there are pieces of rice that dont look that spicy but i’ve chugged two waters already 😭😭😭. so yummyyy“

“We went here for our 3rd wedding anniversary and had the absolute best experience. Great drinks at the bar, our waitress was AMAZING, so kind so funny and the food was 10/10. We are a couple in our early 30s and we wanted a nice, chill, non expensive night and this restaurant delivered. We will absolutely be back again.“

“I love a reason to stop here on my way through town. They have always had the best espresso - roast it themselves. And the bagels!! The only real bagels in the region - they make them in house the right way / boiling and all. No one in the area (El Paso included) actually follows a real bagel recipe. Their pastries are great too. Would not mind if they freshened up the interior. Love this place forever.“

“The Tea is so tasty and the girls working here are super helpful! The girl who took my order helped me decide when I wasn't sure what to get. And then, as I was leaving the Mall I dropped my boba tea all over the floor and was so sad! So I went back to buy another (because I needed my boba!) and I told the lady that I dropped it while walking out and she made me another for free! So nice and I seriously appreciated it. “I was so surprised how yummy the jackfruit tacos were! However I wish they gave more of of the crema, I should have asked for more on the side. It was delicious.

On a sad side note, I heard they discontinued the 1888 Cranberry Seltzer! It was literally the ONLY thing I drank there! I'm depressed and don't understand why they decided to stop making it. It's a tragedy! 😢“

“They completely ripped me off. They didn't add the spicy tuna, eel, or seaweed salad to my poke bowl. I ended up with a half full bowl of spring mix and 6 pieces of tuna for $25. They lost a customer today and I go there often. NEVER will I give them my business again. That was the worst poke bowl I've ever had. Seriously, DO NOT go to Sushi Freak if you want a decent meal. I'm out $25 and still hungry.“
