“Delicious! Patty melt, my friend had the Reuben sandwich, our husbands had the chopped steak with gravy & mashed potatoes. One had the dark gravy &one had the white gravy!! We chose that restaurant since it was halfway from Ruidoso & Santa Fe!!“

“There aren't too many eating options in sleepy Socorro on Thanksgiving Day. So we ate at the only open establishment, the El Camino. And had a good experience. The atmosphere and decor is from the sixties, in a good way, with country and western music playing gently in the background. The menu is Mexican American. Portions are generous. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had the carne adivada which was excellent, and chicken fajita, also good. Certainly one of the more unusual Thanksgiving meals we have had, and one of the finest.“
“Atmosphere is out of this world. Walk into the coolest lounge/bar you can find in the state and enjoy the positively unique, effortlessly nostalgic vibe. Staff is fantastic - no nonsense, and friendly. Walking in, go right for an epic retro diner feel, go left and step in time. If you liked Paul's Monterey, back in the day, you will love El Matador!“

“This is by far my favorite place to stop on my way to El Paso. Clean, safe, kind staff with many food options! Plus, Lemitar chili is so good, some may say better than Hatch (don’t be mad)! The burritos are massive, my personal favorites are the shredded beef and the breakfast chorizo and egg, yummmmmmy!! In the mood for a little spice, the chili rellenos christmas are to die for.
The service is great as this is a big local favorite! Crane is located inside the Marathon gas station, but don’t let that stop you from taking a break and enjoying the food!“
