“I recently dined solo at Double Eagle Restaurant in Las Cruces, and it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish.

The historic building immediately sets the tone; classic New Mexico elegance with a refined, old-world steakhouse atmosphere that makes the evening feel special the moment you walk in. It’s dramatic, beautiful, and full of character.

What truly made the night exceptional, however, was my waiter, Christian. He was charismatic, attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with throughout the evening. His service felt polished and effortless.

The highlight of the night was the tableside Crêpe Suzette made by Christian; easily one of the best I’ve had in a long while. Prepared with confidence and flair, it was both delicious and entertaining, the perfect finale to a wonderful meal.

Even among a few less-than-gracious diners, my experience remained outstanding thanks to the atmosphere and Christian’s impeccable hospitality. Exceptional service elevates a meal, and I personally had a wonderful time.”

“While casually browsing the quaint Old Town shops we walked right next to the cafe sign and decided to give it a try. The Peppers cafe is situated in the center atrium of this el preserved historical building. The atmosphere is incredible and service is outstanding. The food was good, fish tacos are average and could use more salsa/crema, but green chile won tons and plaza enchiladas are yummy. Parking is a bit of a walk in public lots.”

Most delicious burger I've ever had and I'm a senior! I can't stop thinking about it, but now have to wait until they reopen on Tuesday to get another one!”

“Very Disappointed – While the food was decent, the experience was ruined by overhearing staff refer to me as “it” and then say, “oh my god, it’s a grandma.” Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful each time we go. Management either participates or is oblivious.”

“Believe it or not, this small place was actually super cool. Good service, the lady was welcoming and constantly made sure we were good. The prices were better than average. The bathroom was clean and presentable. The atmosphere was great! No judgement, just a cool hang out spot. We were there when the live band was playing. Vibe music for sure. Definitely a must come visit here.”
