“Always happy when I leave here. Just went for our 21st anniversary and had Tara as our server. She was phenomenal and made our already pleasant experience even better.
Ate all our food before I remembered photos at all. We had the prime rib and it was as reliably fantastic as always.“

“This Pelicans has consistently been one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque over many many years. But the last time I was there (in April 2024) the service was unfortunately terrible. And that was after making a reservation. The event was my son's birthday. We arrived and they didn't have the reservation, so we waited and waited and waited... while they seated two other parties who arrived after us without reservations. (And we were only had a group of three...) we waited at least 25 or 30 minutes. Then when we got seated, they didn't bring the salad until the food was already on the table. They didn't offer a complementary dessert for the birthday bar boy, and especially considering all the mis-steps. There was no effort made to make up for the service drops... It was a terrible disappointment. Especially from a place that I've learned to expect more from.“

“Every aspect of this experience was positive. My husband and I were promptly greeted with kindness. Our appetizer Bat & Ball was absolutely Delicious. the sausage and meatballs are made in house with bold savory and mouthwatering seasoning, cooked perfect. My Diablo shrimp was tasty with a spicy kick. great portion too! my husband devoured his chicken piccata! then on top dessert. we had cannolis. Regular and chocolate dipped both scrumptious crispy and savory! I highly recommend! Family business and friendly atmosphere.“

“I have been here now 4 times, 3 lunch and one take out dinner and the food is high quality, fresh, and delicious. They use good cuts of chicken, tons of veggies in the korma, and Naan and chai are perfect. Lovely people, no frills, excellent service.“

“Our server, Benjamin was new to his position but went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were so great, taking care of an elderly gentleman who left his card at the bar. The bartender also made sure the lighting was corrected when someone made an error as it became dark outside. We will definitely come back to this location!“

“Just really disappointed. Cheeseburger was requested medium rare. It came super rare cold in middle I think it was pulled right from package. Steak was perfect medium rare and delicious. First lobster bisque was lukewarm, 2nd was delicious and hot. first garlic mashed potatoes was room temp as well. No idea what 2nd was like I requested not to bring 2nd but they brought it anyways I did not try. Lobster was over cooked, funny that old Red Lobster was better to eat. Seems weird to say. They brought cheesecake in to go box. Why make it worse to open at home with 2 mini drops, one side. No care at all, husband and I just looked at it and laughed thought perfect end to awful meal.“

“We had amazing Mexican food at this restaurant. We have learned not to order steak in Albuquerque, but that is not about the restaurant. It seems to be a cultural thing. This restaurant makes all of the tortillas that are served. So good! I highly recommend.“

“First time. Took my son and his girlfriend. Had a 430 reservation. I think 330 arrived hostess offered a seating area across from bar that was available. Was awesome. Food was great. My son ordered a burger (said it looked homemade) girlfriend ordered a steak GREAT!! I ordered a steak Hostess noticed a small issue and the Mgr came over to speak. It wasn't an issue on my end. (He came over as i had a mouth full of it.) but he made the effort to come over to sure everything was ok. I will be going back. 5 stars well deserved. Thanks. 2/22/26.“

“The restaurant had a sour water smell for some reason but food was good noodles in Pad see ew was awesome crab rangoon actually had crab meat in them and pot stickers were ok but not a fan of the sweet and sour sauce they use and you dont get brown sauce with pot stickers“

“Had a mediocre experience here over a decade ago and just rarely thought to go back, but we were craving pasta today, and Joe’s Pasta definitely changed (though the food is the same deliciousness as before!) Our waiter Hugo made the experience today so amazing! He was so sweet and cheerful. It’s lovely to see someone who loves their job and the place they work. Drinks were never empty, dirty plates never left on the table, and we took home two desserts at his recommendation. We will be back!!“
