“Oh god I felt like puking after. The sushi is very good and it really is all you can eat. Try to have self control. Unlike me. It is 26.99 which is more expensive then the all you can eat sushi in Santa fe, but still worth it. Highly recommend. It's not an upscale place and a little weird but good food is good food.“

“Pelican’s was an excellent dinner experience. I dined in and especially recommend asking for the bar menu. Everything I tried was amazing, and the surf and turf was a highlight. My meal was in the $20–30 per-person range. The combination of a strong bar-menu option and a memorable surf-and-turf dinner made this visit stand out. If you are deciding what to order, the bar menu is worth requesting.“

“Excellence dining experience. The ambiance was astounding, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I encountered a minor issue with the food I was served and my waitress sent the manager to see me and she (the manager) was inquisitive, courteous, and quite apologetic with regards to my issue and very appreciative of my willingness to respectfully divulge the nature of my small complaint. She very skillfully resolved the issue in a manner that more than exceeded my expectations. I will eventually return to dine at this establishment again and highly recommend that anyone in the Albuquerque region to do the same. Side note: This restaurant is a moderately upscaled establishment. I just happened to be in the area for other reasons straight out of work when I chose to dine here and personally felt a bit embarrassed by my personal appearance. I was not frowned upon by the staff or the manager and was treated with the utmost care and respect during my dining experience but I would personally recommend a more business casual type of dress rather than the mechanics clothes I was wearing.“

“We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday and from the minute we walked in the host was really friendly. Our waitress was so attentive she saved 2 tables and gave us the choice to choose which table we would like the most due to us having a baby and them having live music. She even gave me a base for the flowers I bought .“

“Our first time here. I agree with the review about the calamari, it the best we have ever had. We also had the oysters rockefeller. They were also very good. Since we had the two appetizers, we went with the split ribeye. For a little over $5, we split the steak and both orders what sides each person wants. We both had the salad it was huge and bottomless. We both also had the baked potato.“

“This place is such a sweet gem! We are so glad we made a stop here during our travels to NM. This seems to be a family-owned business, and we felt that warm, welcoming energy immediately. The staff are very kind and attentive. We really appreciated the ambiance and some of the unique decor. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming, with a good vegetarian selection. The food is really delicious and generous, from the samosas to the multiple entrees and the chai!“

“Our server, Benjamin was new to his position but went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were so great, taking care of an elderly gentleman who left his card at the bar. The bartender also made sure the lighting was corrected when someone made an error as it became dark outside. We will definitely come back to this location!“

“Went to a high school graduation party for my niece. It was so great to have this as a location for a small group. The food was excellent . It was a great place to see multi-generational family get together. The only thing that was not a major deal was that there could be a little bit more server attentiveness. All in all still a very fun place to go and great food.“

“Really spectacular place to eat. Affordable, friendly, family-run. The owner's niece, one of the few English-speakers working the day we came, helped us navigate the menu. The menu leans heavily on shrimp. Our only so-so item was the fish ceviche, which had great flavor but chewy texture.“

“Just really disappointed. Cheeseburger was requested medium rare. It came super rare cold in middle I think it was pulled right from package. Steak was perfect medium rare and delicious. First lobster bisque was lukewarm, 2nd was delicious and hot. first garlic mashed potatoes was room temp as well. No idea what 2nd was like I requested not to bring 2nd but they brought it anyways I did not try. Lobster was over cooked, funny that old Red Lobster was better to eat. Seems weird to say. They brought cheesecake in to go box. Why make it worse to open at home with 2 mini drops, one side. No care at all, husband and I just looked at it and laughed thought perfect end to awful meal.“

“Phenomenal jerk chicken plate from A Taste of the Caribbean. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and very tender. The rice and peas, Mac n cheese, and steam cabbage & carrots complimented it perfectly. The tostones were also very fresh. Delicious food, paired with excellent service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere makes this a must visit restaurant in Albuquerque. Great music too! Can’t recommend it enough!“

“We had amazing Mexican food at this restaurant. We have learned not to order steak in Albuquerque, but that is not about the restaurant. It seems to be a cultural thing. This restaurant makes all of the tortillas that are served. So good! I highly recommend.“

“Was in town for a business meeting. Did a little research on OpenTable and found Blank Angus Steakhouse. Our bartender/server was excellent! She was prompt, courteous and engaging. The food and drink were excellent. My colleague had a rib eye. I had prime rib which was delicious. Prices were surprisingly very reasonable. Definitely a restaurant I will go to again when in Albuquerque.“

“I have been here multiple times. The food is always amazing. Went last night had the drunken noodles, fantastic!!!! The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. My eyes were bothering me. The lights were way too bright, and she tried to find me a different table and turned down the lights a little bit. The atmosphere would be a lot nicer if it wasn’t so bright. Would suggest a thorough cleaning of the bathrooms. Food and service excellent. Prices are reasonable!“

“The cashier Stacey was extremely patient and friendly. They were busy and got my food to me fast! Less than 6 minutes. The chicken was a bit dry or overdone and chewy like jerky. Paying an additional $3.29 for 3 small pieces of shrimp seems a bit costly too. It’s been a while since eating at LJS. A bit pricey overall.“
