“great food but better service. was there during the balloon fiesta and had the best customer service in my entire life. they comped my food because i was feeling a little ill from altitude sickness. the waiter, manager and server all checked on me. they said because i did not enjoy my food (again not their fault)that i should not be charged, because in their words the food did not live up to the expectations of the restaurant. i will not hesitate in trying it again the next time i am in albuquerque. awesome restraunt , if you are in the area give it a try .“

“The restaurant has always been quite good. Now, with Jonathan Pero as executive chef, every meal we have eaten there has been interesting and outstanding. The introduction of Small Plates 4 course menus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, different week, is a great innovation for those of us liking a bit less food.“

“Knowing the world is short staffed, I rarely go out dining and if I do, I do not expect good service. However, I frequent Juniper since it is on my way home and after a long week, I can easily stop in for a lemon drop and ribeye. This is the place I recommend to all my clients and fellow associates for dinner and drinks. I appreciate the spaced seating, the to die for bread rolls and how about those Brussel sprouts and mushrooms?! The fireplace is a nice touch and sets the tone for the evening. Bonus, I play a $50 bill on my way out and occasionally it pays for dinner and gas.“

“Well I just cannot stomach all that salt they put on the baked potato. I wish they never started doing that. Next time I am just going to try and order a baked potato without the salt. They could even just rub all that salt off before cutting the potato. I just forget to request that. Lots of old people are on a low salt diet and this does not help. This is my very favorite restaurant in town.“

“My wife and I are here 3 times during our stay, once with the buffet and twice with the à la carte menu. The clear option, especially if you are a Hyatt globalist is the à la carte menu. The buffet isn’t bad, just the food is much better on the à la carte menu. The blue corn pancakes are unique and exceptional. The breakfast sandwich and green chili (on anything), is pretty good (just not as hot as I like my chili but good flavor nonetheless). Would recommend eating here for breakfast. Only negative is that the wait staff can be a bit slow and inconsistent each day, but we came on Labor Day weekend (which is one of their busiest times of year), so I have sympathy for them (you may not lol).“
