Cafecito Reviews
There has been a change to the breakfast menu, and it's so much better for that. My favorite change is to the Green Hummus Toast. It was a delight when it was made as an avocado based toast, but now is available with a delicious hummus spread. Featuring local sourdough bread that's lightly toasted topped with organic eggs that can be ordered in any style, (how they make the scrambled version so light and fluffy is beyond me) along with fresh red onion that is a complement and...read full review
As a local, this is one of my go-to places for quality ambiance, amazing food and the best coffee.
I often go solo to work or just treat myself. Also, a great place to meet with friends and catch up. I primarily go for breakfast or lunch and it’s always great!
Enjoy!

Santa Fe's Cafecito offers an Argentinian flair, featuring friendly staff and the BEST chocolate mousse for special occasions. The cheerful atmosphere of the cafe is a standout, especially the inviting outdoor seating filled with plants and a water feature. Customers describe the atmosphere as fresh and happy, making it a relaxing spot, especially on beautiful days. Although it can get crowded, the experience is well worth it. Reviewers highlight the Gaucho and the empanada trio as must-tries.
The small but varied menu in a quaint bistro setting receives praise for quick service and quality ingredients. The breakfast menu has recently improved, particularly the Green Hummus Toast, which features a delicious hummus spread on local sourdough bread with organic eggs and fresh red onion. A sprinkle of feta cheese adds the finishing touch, and a side of sautéed mushrooms is recommended for an extra savory element. Cafecito also offers a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, alongside refreshing options like margaritas and mate, served with the proper type of straw. Though some items like the GF empanadas have been removed from the menu, the 10 oz lattes and cookies remain popular, despite being on the pricier side at $19 for two. Cafecito is conveniently located off the beaten path, making it a great go-to spot for a wonderful meal in a charming atmosphere, especially after indulging in New Mexican cuisine. This place is now a destination for many, and visitors definitely recommend trying Cafecito if they have not already.
