Visiting friends in Santa Fe and learned they opened a Rudy’s, so naturally hubby wanted a pulled pork sandwich for lunch. He seemed to enjoy it especially adding more of the BBQ sauce, reminding him of the Texas locations. I had the loaded potato with pulled pork, huge portion, should have paid extra for “moist”. Great service, good ambiance, good sides, just ok BBQ.
This is the best of the BBQ chains that I've tried - but the competition is generally lousy so it's not hard to stand out. Flavorful moist brisket (perhaps too much salt though), good potato salad and meat-stuffed baked potato, tender BBQ chicken (if a little on the dry side) but the previously frozen corn on the cob was so-so at best and the sausage was no better than supermarket sausage. Good service and fair prices. I'll be back, I'm sure.
