“The sushi chef is very friendly, as are the rest of staff. Prices are affordable, the sushi is very fresh and traditional. Don’t expect a huge menu with all your favorite crazy modern rolls, but do expect solid food and good conversation! Feels like home for someone who has lived in Japan.”

“We were visiting Los Alamos and in need of lunch. We were welcomed by patient and friendly staff and wonderful service. The bagel with cream cheese was out of this world. My wife had chicken salad and soup which was very good. We also had a wonderful discussion with the assistant manager about the area. A delightful lunch! I highly recommend this place and wish they’d open a location in our home town! Five Stars!”

“It's cafeteria food, but it's extremely above-average cafeteria food. The burgers are tasty and the Frito pie is amazing and made with people chili!

“Friendly staff, nice buffet with a decent (not great) variety of options for lunch. I'm a bit picky about Chinese food since I grew up in Taiwan, and this is highly Americanized with SO MUCH sweetness in every dish. Even the black pepper chicken is SUPER sweet, which is very weird to me (despite that, it was actually really good, though!) Buffet and a drink ran me around $25 after tax and tip, so be warned it's not cheap. Hard to beat the speed of buffet when you're on a short lunch break, though!”

“Let’s be honest, reviewing a Starbucks is kinda pointless because they’ve pretty much mastered the art of taste homogeneity across all enterprises. So some of the things left to review are service and ambiance. Service here today was not amazing but they appeared to be understaffed and we’re still very kind. However, the view from the attached patio is incredible! Huge recommendation to sip your bevy of choice out on the deck overlooking a deep ravine and distant mountains with the cool mountain air blowing bringing scents of freshness. I always come here when visiting Los Alamos.”
