“It takes a great deal for me to write a long post, I had even sent an email and message on their Instagram. It's clear that they do not care about their customers, so here Iam writing my experience. Maybe this will get their attention. I discovered this cozy café this past weekend. I live in Bedford and have been searching for a great place to study. I really enjoy the atmosphere in this café, However I've had two incidents that have happened now with my order. Saturday I came in and had asked about the breakfast sandwich, I have a nightshade intolerance which I explained to the cashier. (no tomatoes, peppers, paprika, no spices. potatoes and eggplant are also in this category). She went back and checked the ingredients and made a sandwich that was suppose to be free of these things. I get the sandwich and have a couple bites and realize that the black bean paste that was on it did indeed have chili-spice. She was going to remake my order and give me a refund but the manager said one or the other. Which I feel unfair where the damage has already been done to my stomach. However, someone who has made mistakes myself in the past in the industry, I let it go. It's only an intolerance not life threatening, however it does cause me discomfort for a few days when I eat these things. A refund should have been made. I return Monday and ordered a defcafe almond milk latte, which within an hour later I realize that it was 100% NOT decafe. Caffeine does not sit well with me, it causes a great deal on my health. For some people this can literally have them go to the hospital. Some people have certain medications, and caffeine can literally cause major complications. Luckily for me this was not the case, however it ruined my night, I was unable to finish my evening activities, or continue to study for the quiz I had the next day. I also had to cut my grocery shopping short because I became faint and unwell. It's clear to me that the manager and staff do not take dietary restrictions seriously, this is unfortunate, as I have spent $50 on this establishment already and I will not be back. Dietary restrictions are something to be taken seriously and this place does not! So if you are someone with allergies, do not go here.“

“I can honestly say Harvest Clean Eats in Moncton is one of my fave spots to eat now. I went there for the very first time today. The food was delicious and the service was 10/10. Also, this little cute place has such a positive vibe and the staff are super friendly. Definitely recommend if you haven’t try it yet.“

“We had the pleasure of eating at Bird’s Nest today, Chicken Club Sandwiches (and we have our usual cup of coffee everyday there too) The food is outstanding, based on fresh seasonal ingredients clearly put together by a chef that has a true passion for food! The service was fantastic as always, and their staff is so friendly, and they know our usual orders by now. “We walked over to this place as a soccer team while in town for university games and I was thrilled to see such a beautiful spot close by. From the moment we entered, the staff were incredibly friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. They took time explaining about some of their drinks, and the drinks we all ordered were absolutely delicious. Not to mention the desserts - WOW! I purchased a bag of their beans and it is seriously one of the best bags of beans I've ever had to brew from home (and I buy a lot of beans from various roasters across the Maritimes). “Been reading comments . I’ve been buying Antoinette’s cheesecakes for years . I remember when she first started out in Dartmouth. I have to say, whenever there’s been a misunderstanding with my order, Antoinette has always gone above and beyond to treat me fairly And make things right. While there have been a few employees with a bit of a problem communicating with customers , Antoinette and her son , in my opinion, makes every effort to serve their customers . There will always be misunderstandings and people will always find reasons to complain but you can’t loose sight of the fact that Antoinette stands by her product and is very committed to providing value to her customers and has been known to truly service the product she sells. “I am from Ontario in town to take care of family matters for my Auntie. I stopped by Edible Matters a few days ago and got cheerful and excellent service from a young blonde man. He made me my first and memorable bluenose latte! It was soul soothing and so yummy! Today, I stopped by again, to get another one and was so impressed by the 3 service staff behind the counter! Kind, courteous, efficient, professional, and genuine. 5 stars ⭐️ I realized later I left my wallet.; it was kept safely behind the counter. I arrived rather distraught…from that and other things. Seeing that I was promptly offered a really big, supportive, you-got-this, we-got-you too, it’s going to be ok HUG 🤗!!! Not once…but twice…by the sweetest young woman. I should have asked her name. I hugged her back too hard and definitely too long! lol It was complete medicine and helped so much. Thank you. The other 2 young men behind the counter were also empathetic too. The reason I went to Edible Matters was because my Auntie loved it…and shared it w me. I think the first hug was from the barista and the second one from Auntie…in the way she could 😇 I am so grateful to your staff for the excellent service, healing tea, keeping my wallet safe and such genuine kindness.“

“Cafe Marco Polo delights on all fronts. A great selection of in-house baked good (the carrot cake is my favourite); lot's of sandwiches (Montreal smoked meat hits the spot every time); breakfast fare (their in-house breakfast sandwich is yummy!); and friendly, attentive staff. They feature an espresso roast that is one of my favourites on either side of the harbour. The space is great to hang out in—at times bustling, at others, peacefully quiet.“

The almond Croissant is great too, still quite big and full of flavor.

Weekly species are fun. I last had the 'everything bagel' croissant, which has a herb & garlic cream cheese filling, with everything seasoning on the outside.

Like popping in to grab a bag of beans to take home, but street parking can be hard to find much of the time. There are only a handful of tables and it can be hard to get one on weekend mornings.

“Nour's Cafe and grill was recommended to me as i was in the area. And i was not disappointed. Friendly service. They have a speaker set up to hear each other properly. I got Nour's bagel (jalapeño and cheese) with egg, lettuce tomato. It was cut in half (didn't even ask for it ) tasty, grilled, and still warm. And bc i was still hungry, i got a small portion of their fries. MIAM! The spice they put on the fries are amazing. It adds more flavor. I would just decrease the amount of salt. The spices are enough, in my opinion. The portion was quite generous for small size.The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is the salt, and limited payment options: debit or cash.It was a positive experience overall. Thank you!“

“This is my favorite Tim Hortons in Dartmouth! I know all the staff—they are always friendly, positive, and very attentive. Unfortunately, there’s no place to sit inside, but it’s convenient for takeout. I think they should expand this location so I can happily come here with my child during walks and enjoy a cup of coffee.

It’s also essential to add an accessibility button for people with disabilities, so it’s easier to enter with a stroller. But that’s more of a suggestion for the Tim Hortons management.

“I recently moved back into the area and was hoping to have brunch here every weekend. I had the Madurito breakfast which was a wonderful treat. The flavours were exotic and well balanced and I left quite satisfied. The breakfast came to $30.00 including tip. After searching online, I found this was almost double the price of any breakfast in Halifax. Wonderful food, but keep in mind you are paying for inflated food costs and for specialty ingredients. Not affordable on my budget, unfortunately.“

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. We had the opportunity to meet Lara, the owner, and it was immediately clear why this Cafe is so tastefully decorated, why the atmosphere is so enjoyable and the menu so very delectable. “My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“
