“On October 12, 2026, at approximately 7-8 pm went into MB Bedford Commons NS. We were greeted by a young employee ( can’t remember his name) he was courteous, professional, polite and knew the menu. We decided to stay in the restaurant to eat only to hear his shift supervisor demean him in front of other customers including us. She was rude, impatient and a little condescending. She asked him in front of everybody asking why a customer waited, he had 6-7 orders up making sure they were correct. He was attempting to explain to shift supervisor. Totally impatient. Then he was going on break, he ordered food and she rolled her eyes and said “ no, I don’t think so, rolled her eyes at him and through the receipt at him. He was also cleaning up while waiting for his meal. When we left he was sitting down appearing dejected. We left and thanked him. So here is some advice, train your shift supervisor to be helpful, supportive and guide employees. If she can’t do that, she’s the wrong person to be the shift supervisor. He deserved better!! It appears you have potentially a good employee who wants to work. Thanks ! Tim and Kelly.“

“Stopped by Halifax for a quick bite Sunday morning before catching an early flight and honestly wasn't expecting much from a fried chicken spot at that hour, but the sandwich with the pickled slaw was sharp and fresh, not soggy at all. The dining room was already half full by 10am, tucked-away location but clearly a local favorite, with exposed brick and a low hum of conversation that made it easy to linger over coffee. Staff at the counter remembered a regular's order before he even finished asking, which says a lot about how often people come back. Parking on the street was easy that early, and I'd happily route through Halifax again just to get another bite.“

The staff was so friendly, clean, professional and brought my food to me instead of ghettoly shouting my number to me like other places. I also liked that by the time I was ready to eat, there still wasn't any grease stains from the food despite being fried food and I could eat directly from the box. Great job ladies. Keep it up. “I often get the 4-piece fried chicken wings from this place, and they’re really good. But today I decided to try the fried chicken on a whim, oh my god! The chicken was unbelievably dry and tough. Every bite felt like it was sucking all the moisture out of my mouth. It was seriously awful!
