“Deliciously crispy, slightly spicy, salty fried chicken! I’ve had their wings, the quarter leg, and the chicken sandwich. The meat is seasoned so well and the batter is slightly thick but it makes for an amazing crunch. It is a little bit spicy but I love it that way. The place is small with limited seating, it’s more of a takeout place but they do package their food really well so it does not go soggy. This is my go to for wings. If you’re lucky you’ll get an extra wing ;)“

“We loved Chicken Chop. The rotisserie chicken was so moist and delicious. I had the 1/4 chicken breast and I do not understand why. I am always a leg lady. It was huge and so moist. The home cut fries were delicious. My son had the Mac and Cheese and a spicy chicken sandwich. He said it was awesome. I was tired and we forgot to get a side order of Brussels sprouts or green beans which we have had before. I do not get to Halifax as often as I used to and we like to try different restaurants. After 13 hours in the air the great food and casual setting was just what we needed. Thank you chicken chop for serving consistently deliciously moist chicken.

Parking: There is free parking for about 15 cars in the lot and more parking on side streets. Great for HFX.“

We ordered through the MB app and our order was ready upon arrival, prepared with generous servings and piping hot.
I was greeted as soon as I entered and there was a special area to pick up app orders.
I will return to this location again!

“I had a 2 piece meal for lunch today. The chicken was crispy on the outside and the meat was juicy. The coleslaw was good as well. Honestly, I hesitated to go there when I read the comments but I'm glad that I gave it a try because both the food and the service were good! It's $14.49 for a 2 piece meal before tax, things are getting more expensive these days.“

“Personally, I love MB’s Chicken. The seasoning is spot on, and the sides are really yummy. Ever since I discovered them in Halifax, I stopped going to KFC. The quality is always consistent even though a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. I hope they will continue to maintain this quality for a long time as I will be coming back very often.“
