8 Best Chinese Restaurants in Dartmouth

“I had heard the food here had changed, possibly to new ownership, but hadn't tried it for about 3 years. Not a veggie fan, so it was one of only a few places where I could enjoy an egg roll without finding strings of veggies inside. Heh heh. And I remember combos that offered me two of my faviurite things together,

I found neither this time. Egg rolls are meaty, but detectable veggies, so not to my taste. And the combos have changed ,(as all places tend to do), and I couldn't find a combo plate with 2 meat items I liked together.

My companion seemed to thoroughly enjoy her mixed plate, so the quality of the food is not being critiqued so much as the selection.

Service was prompt and accurate, and the atmosphere is much nicer than chain restaurants.“

“I actually really love this place. They have quite a few options on their vegan menu, including a vegan version of their sweet corn soup. Sweet & Sour Tofu, Massaman Curry, etc - and their portion sizes are so big! I come here at least once a trip when I’m in Halifax area. Went again last night and loved it. The servers are always so nice too.“

“Ordered their orange chicken combo this afternoon. Must say great taste. The chicken and the orange sauce was just perfect. Great balance of sweetness.Though could be more generous with the sauce on the chicken and overall quantity could be better as compared to other similar Chinese restaurant combos.The container had seperarate compartments for rice and chicken and hence it works better if it is a gravy dish, but when thick sauce like orange chicken is packed, it's hard to mix the get the whole sauce out hence either placing the chicken right over the rice would do be nice.Definitely ordering more often. Good work guys.“

“I've had good egg foo young, but this is by far the best I've ever had. the tempura shrimp was crispy and lightly coated. I enjoy broccoli with beef and this did not disappoint. My only complaint is I live too far away to come back any time soon but will surely miss the owners and the food... I highly recommend!“
