“We placed an order for pickup this afternoon. When I went to pick up the order I was told there was no order under that name. I said I could tell what the order was and maybe it was entered under the wrong name. The women on the front desk said that was no good as there could have been the same order placed by someone else. The overall attitude of the women on the desk was awful, she would not listen to anything I was saying. The name didn't match so there was nothing she would do. When I returned home we called back and it was the same story. She had an order we placed but the name was not correct. There was no apology or attempt to resolve the situation, it was "our fault" and that was that. Unfortunately this combative attitude has resulted in Tan's losing a long time customer. The food was always good in the past, but this level of customer service is not acceptable. We have asked the owner/manager to call in the hopes of resolving the situation, but that is unlikely as she did not take our phone number.PS - Glad to say we did get a call back, and we had a pleasant productive conversation with a good resolution. Note to self: don't write comments too quickly, take some time and sleep on it.“

“I've had good egg foo young, but this is by far the best I've ever had. the tempura shrimp was crispy and lightly coated. I enjoy broccoli with beef and this did not disappoint. My only complaint is I live too far away to come back any time soon but will surely miss the owners and the food... I highly recommend!“

“Today at 11:30 at Mic Mac Mall: I usually enjoy the Noodles and Mongolian Beef. However today the beef in the Mongolian was very chewy and tough so I won’t get that anymore, since they are using “cheaper” meat. I got take-out and I get the fact the food would be cold, but it only takes me 10 mins to get home. Also, the girls need to speak up so they can be heard better. It wasn’t that noisy, and my hearing is fine.“
