“Basing my review on the multiple times I’ve gone to this location.

Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Food is good, veggies fresh. My only complaint is when I get bowls here, there’s such a tiny amount of chicken that it’s barely noticeable.. which is a shame because it’s really good. After tax & tip, I spent $19.43 on one bowl.. which is kind of pricy considering there was maybe a little spoon full of chicken.. I still go here on occasion because I like the healthy options, and again- it is really good. Just a bit overpriced when there’s barely any protein.”

“First time eating here as we are from out of town. We we greeted as we entered the restaurant and pleasantly told to sit anywhere. The dining area is very small, about 4 tables, but is very clean. The menu is plentiful and priced reasonably. The food came within 15 mins, hot, plated wonderfully and large portions. Wonderful taste! We whole heartedly recommend a visit to or take out of this wonderful food! Thank you China Star!”

“This was one of the best meals we had on our Nova Scotia, PEI vacation. We saw the sign from the highway as it was near the airport. We decided to go for dinner and we so glad we did. We had the scallop dinner, and a baked halibut special. For dessert, we enjoyed the most delicious blueberry shortcake. Our server was friendly, super fun and definitely a very hard worker. We wish we’d sernit the night before as we would have eater here two nights.”

“On behalf of all of us at the Jessys in Fall River we apologize for anyone that has had an issue and/or bad encounters with the old man in the parking lot. Yes he owns the building however he does not own the Jessys Pizza. I have had countless talks with him to please stop bothering people trying to park their vehicles, to us the parking spaces are not that important. There’s plenty of room for people to come and go safely. We also apologize for people possibly feeling uncomfortable at all for even entering our parking lot, that should never be the case. I have (for the hundredth time) notified the building owners about the old man’s actions and will continue to do whatever I can to make the parking lot feel welcoming.”

“To me a&w burgers do not have the same taste they use to have. There's just something about them that halfway through I am done. The price is significantly more then other similar chains as well.”

“Good food for fast, piping hot and fresh, and the service was on point. It was a pleasure to visit an establishment in canada and feel like we are still in canada. THANKS for taking the time to make my 8mo old grandson and us feel special. It wasn't busy, and the staff took time to adore our grandson and make the visit feel like more than a patron.”

“I'm going to sound like a bot for this, buy yall seriously need to get the subway app. The points never expire unlike the others. And if you go out with friends and they don't have it, you are going to be rich with points. + you don't even need to bring your phone, you can jest put your phone number in the cash machine. CONVENIENT.

In fact I turn fourteen in a week, and since I love subway so much I'm going to apply for a job here.

“Efficient as a drive-thru McDs but as a walk-in and eat-in, it isn't a great option. Counters and tables were messy with spilled salt and ketchup. Staff also focused 90% of their attention on the drive-thru. I would expect they'd have one staff member whose priority was the front counter.”

“Went inside because drive through was too long. Waited on by a female trainee (Lydia) and a young blonde gentleman. They were so polite, and he helped her finding buttons on the POS. Was nice to see them work as a team, and my order was correct!!I know it's not a lot, but I believe positive feedback is important!! Great job guys!!”

“Restaurant was clean, atmosphere and staff were very inviting. There was pitchers of water with 4 glassed at each table. Both my partner and I ordered the same sides, butter chicken and saffron rice with pop. It was absolutely amazing.... so much so we ordered 2 extra sides of rice to take home with the remaining butter chicken. Highly recommend! We will be in again to try out some other items.”

“My son has celiac disease and they are always incredibly accommodating for him, it has quickly become his favorite pizza place! Ordered a Shawarma from the Sackville location tonight and it was hands down the best one I've ever had in the city. Absolutely recommend!”

“Was there for a late lunch. Very spacious, clean and great atmosphere. Our server Emily was very friendly and enthusiastic. Ordered taquitos (excellent flavour and lots of filling. Then I had the chicken fajitas which were huge and very fresh tasting. Emily talked me into trying the Churro bites for dessert. They are stellar all around pleased with my experience. Would recommend”

“We went there on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Place wasn't very busy, so we didn't wait for a table, and food was served fairly fast!

We ordered Sakedon, Gyoza, one Toro nigiri special, and a Blue Mountain Roll. Everything was delicious. Portions, flavours and texture were great not to mention that their plating was very impressive and authentic. Price for us (2 adults, and one kid) was $72 after taxes. Dunno, what mayority of people except to pay at a Japanese restaurant but to me it was definitely worth it!

Umai's interior deco is very minimal and very pleasing. A few lovely pictures and that's it. Beautiful!

Their washroom was extremely clean (some people might not care about this but to me cleanliness in a washroom says a lot about the place). Anyway, not only was it super clean it was very also nicely decorated. Only thing it needs it's a diaper changer (Mom here).

Atmosphere was also good. It's a very nice spot for couples, for families, friends, and any type of reunions. It's on a plaza so, parking it's easy and it's also wheelchair accessible!

Service was great. Server asked us about any allergies after ordering and was always very attentive.

Don't have that many photos cuz I was paying more attention to my crazy baby, lol. But I can't wait to go back again and hopefully will remember to take more then.

“It was a wonderful meal and Emily’s service was great. We arrived on the tail end of a busy evening but it didn’t impact us at all. We appreciated being seated on the patio( and the blankets when it cooled down). The mussels, halibut, salmon and birthday zucatto were exceptional. Thanks!”
