“I am incredibly happy to be writing this review, as I will definitely remember this restaurant the next time I have a connecting flight to Halifax. We were seated quickly, and the menu prices were about standard for an airport restaurant. But what really stood out to me was the incredible service from one waiter in particular: his name is Stamos. (I apologize if I butchered your name!)
He checked up on us often, made sure we were satisfied with our dishes, and was just a great person overall.
Prices aside, if I lived in Halifax, I would book a flight just to eat there again and experience that exceptional service I haven’t found anywhere else.
The food was tasty, and the kids’ portions were very generous. I recommend getting the chicken and noodle soup and the spaghetti and meatballs if you have multiple people.
All in all, this was hands down the best service I’ve ever received at any restaurant I’ve reviewed.”

“Visited downstairs tim for my drink they accidentally made the hot one but replaced with my original ordered drink so politely must say the new staff is really nice, specially khushboo always smiling and positive. The new staff has such a great customer service.”

“A typical Air canada lounge that shows a little bit the age of the concept. It's ok to spend time and wait for your plane. That aquarium is crystal clear and a big shoutout to the person who keeps those fish healthy! Food is ok, and that Thaï soup was good ! Mango salad is spicy but worth it !

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access and adapted toilet. Be careful not to hit another person if you open the door too quickly!”

“I have been blown away by the customer service here. The lovely lady who made my sandwich was friendly, asked how I was doing and if I was headed to the airport ( I was picking up a friend ) She made my sandwiches quickly and then gave me coupons to use instantly which saved me over $10. She had served about 4 people before me, was working all by herself and still had a great attitude. Amazing!”

“I just grabbed lunch from here and it was the best subway I've ever had. The service was a little slow but my order was complicated so no biggie.

I got a 6 inch Cuban, and that thing slaps. Subways new menu from around the world is giving me hope for this restaurant, whoever made that choice needs to be making more choices.

“Restaurant was clean, atmosphere and staff were very inviting. There was pitchers of water with 4 glassed at each table. Both my partner and I ordered the same sides, butter chicken and saffron rice with pop. It was absolutely amazing.... so much so we ordered 2 extra sides of rice to take home with the remaining butter chicken. Highly recommend! We will be in again to try out some other items.”

“Sushi is so fresh and delicious. As tea is hand-made by the owner, it tastes savory. Takoyaki is crunchy and soft inside. Shrimp tempura is also crunchy and great. I will come here again.”

“It was a wonderful meal and Emily’s service was great. We arrived on the tail end of a busy evening but it didn’t impact us at all. We appreciated being seated on the patio( and the blankets when it cooled down). The mussels, halibut, salmon and birthday zucatto were exceptional. Thanks!”

“we had the pleasure of dining here with my brother and partner to share a birthday dinner together..I personally ordered the curry coconut haddock...it was absolutely divine!!!!! I cannot say enough positive about the restaurant,the staff!! and the food....our waitress was so pleasant and patient...so friendly and so neat!...to watch how the staff interacted with each other,made me think " this how every work environment should feel"....the establishment was exceptional in cleanliness.....the food was served hot and the ingredients so flaverfull!! I rate this place a 10 out of 10!”

“Basing my review on the multiple times I’ve gone to this location.

Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Food is good, veggies fresh. My only complaint is when I get bowls here, there’s such a tiny amount of chicken that it’s barely noticeable.. which is a shame because it’s really good. After tax & tip, I spent $19.43 on one bowl.. which is kind of pricy considering there was maybe a little spoon full of chicken.. I still go here on occasion because I like the healthy options, and again- it is really good. Just a bit overpriced when there’s barely any protein.”

“First time eating here as we are from out of town. We we greeted as we entered the restaurant and pleasantly told to sit anywhere. The dining area is very small, about 4 tables, but is very clean. The menu is plentiful and priced reasonably. The food came within 15 mins, hot, plated wonderfully and large portions. Wonderful taste! We whole heartedly recommend a visit to or take out of this wonderful food! Thank you China Star!”

“Saturday evening (Feb 18) we randomly decided to stop by Jinloong for supper. We don't eat out much these days, but we were feeling like a treat. :) My husband had a combo Special A. It was a huge portion and delicious. I want to mention that my husband always finishes his plate. However, this meal was not only delicious but filling too. He had enough for in dining and leftovers for a take away lunch on Monday ! I ordered the Singapore Noodles, with no meat or shrimp. Our waiter was so helpful to make a lovely fresh enormous bowl of noodles with extra veggies for me. It was wonderful and I went home with 3 days of leftovers!! YAY!! This was such a great meal for "penny pinches" like us haha I'd like to say our experience at Jinloong was 5 stars, but I wish I could give an extra 5 stars for the lovely, helpful service we received from our waiter. He was a delight!! So kind, helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant don't look any further than Jinloong. The homemade sauces are absolutely worth every penny. The portions are fantastic, and the service is GREAT! We'll be back soon. I've included a photo of all our leftovers.
