“We were celebrating our anniversary and looking for a special place. Everyone said go to the Bicycle Thief. We were not disappointed. The food and wine were superb. We loved the lobster risotto. Katie, our server, was amazing. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for a fantastic dinner.“

“Oh my God — where do I even start! Everything about this place is phenomenal. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with the warmest smile and such elegant gestures. The ambiance is so unique and inviting.We went for breakfast and it was an absolute delight! The banana bread was heavenly — the aroma and taste were just perfect. We tried the Egg Benny and the Beef Naan Wrap, and both were incredibly delicious. To top it all off, he even offered us a gut health drink after the meal — such a thoughtful touch!
Our hearts and stomachs were full. It’s truly overwhelming how amazing this place is. A must-try spot — we’re definitely coming back! ❤️“

“The staff at this location are incredible. They are kind and focused on having a good day. Every time I come in, at least one of the two staff is singing along to dancing along to the store music (excellent playlist), and they tend to have a flawless production line and flow with each other.

Most importantly, I fear I could eat 27 of the bacon egg and cheese bagels consecutively. Like oh my god. A full hard boiled egg in the centre. What the hell. That bagel sent me to the moon dawg“

“Grabbed an iced americano today, and it was pretty good, it was smooth, strong, and exactly what I needed. The vibe of the place is pretty cool too, really chill and easy to hang out in for a bit. Definitely a spot I’d go back to for coffee and just to relax for a while.“

“Stopped in with hubby and the doggies for lunch. Was thrilled we could have the dogs with us at the table on the patio and that there were water bowls provided. Service was a little slow and unfortunately our order got lost and it took a while to get our food. Kitchen tried to rush the meal to make up for the delay and our spinach dip was still cold in the middle. Overall the food was good and I would return to try the food again.“

“We love Garrison! Great spot to drop in for a casual beer and take in the port vibes. Their patio seems to get sun much later than many other spots downtown, it’s our go-to if we’re looking for a sunny spot.

Also, huge shoutout to the staff who are always friendly. They even pulled up a few of the deck planks to retrieve my lost wedding ring - true hero’s! ❤️“

“Our server was very helpful with directions about Halifax. She was not put out at all and seemed genuinely kind. She was prompt and attentive. The chicken wings were tasty, the margarita was far to sour, in my oppion. Very much an irish pub menu.“

“Large selection of teas, we took our steeped tea to go. You can buy loose tea and accessories etc. Also there was lots of stationary, stickers, and different craft items you would not see at a craft stores. It was pretty neat.“

“Fun restaurant with interesting decor. They are committed to serving local food. They have a diverse menu with a reasonably flight of beers if you want to try some local brews. My soup was not hot but very delicious, They took it off the bill which showed their commitment to service. I was very impressed.“

“I order booster juice almost every morning before starting work and it always starts my day off right. Especially whenever the cup is signed by B.a.w, I’m not sure who this is but they have incredible customer service. The food is ready quickly and taste delicious. Thank you!“

“Very clean, tables spaced apart enough so you can hear your companion speaking, lovely decor elegant even. The pistachio croissant was incredible (the dollop of cream with pistachios is a delicious touch to a croissant with layers surrounding a pistachio centre- you need to try it sorry forgot photos!) Wild berry macaron was.. okay the only time I think sublime will qualify as a description! Paired with drip coffee or cafe au lait - heaven! The Bastille and Croque Monsieur sandwiches that we split were excellent! So good we got croissants and macarons for takeaway after!“

“Chilly day on the water front ...thanks to Becky and Alexa for the great latte to warm me up .The service was fast despite problems with the debit machine . I still miss the DG on Spring Garden Road ( hope they come back after the dig ends)but it is worth the walk . Love this cafe.“
