What a little gem 💎 Discreetly tucked deep into this shop front, the cool air, atmospheric lit interior and warm welcoming service was so lovely. We didn’t have a reservation but the super cool matre’d hustled us 3 great seats on the bar while we explored for 15 minutes.

Tori was our fab server who was knowledgeable about the menu and a ‘complete hospo pro’. We felt welcome and looked after.

The food is AMAZING, we had the Tuna tartare and burrata to start then the Halibut, duck breast and the tagliatelle mains. All so tasty, filling and well priced.

It was bustling on a Thursday night so definitely book to dine or chance it and hope to get lucky like we did 😊“

“Stopped in with hubby and the doggies for lunch. Was thrilled we could have the dogs with us at the table on the patio and that there were water bowls provided. Service was a little slow and unfortunately our order got lost and it took a while to get our food. Kitchen tried to rush the meal to make up for the delay and our spinach dip was still cold in the middle. Overall the food was good and I would return to try the food again.“

I also didn't see food this time but I didnt really require so there might be some and bad on me gor not asking. The Irish Red was very good and the weather was great to sit outside and enjoy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

“I discovered this gem of a coffee shop while staying in Halifax over the weekend. Perfect coffee, friendly and professional staff, delicious pastries (my husband said it was the best croissant he’s had outside of Montreal!). “Saturday evening (Feb 18) we randomly decided to stop by Jinloong for supper. We don't eat out much these days, but we were feeling like a treat. :) My husband had a combo Special A. It was a huge portion and delicious. I want to mention that my husband always finishes his plate. However, this meal was not only delicious but filling too. He had enough for in dining and leftovers for a take away lunch on Monday ! I ordered the Singapore Noodles, with no meat or shrimp. Our waiter was so helpful to make a lovely fresh enormous bowl of noodles with extra veggies for me. It was wonderful and I went home with 3 days of leftovers!! YAY!! This was such a great meal for "penny pinches" like us haha I'd like to say our experience at Jinloong was 5 stars, but I wish I could give an extra 5 stars for the lovely, helpful service we received from our waiter. He was a delight!! So kind, helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant don't look any further than Jinloong. The homemade sauces are absolutely worth every penny. The portions are fantastic, and the service is GREAT! We'll be back soon. I've included a photo of all our leftovers.
