“Was looking for a place for dinner while exploring downtown Halifax, and decided to try this place because the prices looked reasonable and it was highly rated. Small restaurant, looks cute. Portion size is great. Sushi and sashimi was delicious and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised the beef udon came with marinated beef which was really good. Server was very attentive. As someone visiting from Calgary, it was great value considering the portion sizes. I definitely recommend eating here!“

If you like sushi, they have it. If you want ramen, they have one option and it is perfect.
The takoyaki was exactly what I wanted. I had a bunch of salmon sushi and California rolls. Every piece was incredible. My husband had the ramen and it's some of the best we've ever had. Definitely the best we've had in the Halifax area.
I shop nearby fairly regularly and now expect that I'll just make sure those trips have enough time to stop in for a bite.

The varied display of Japanese tea ? sets and dishes are a nice detail
Only thing I would recommend is to lower the volume of the music!

“This is the best ramen shop in the province! We’ve been to every one we can find, and these guys take the cake! We drive all the way over from Eastern Passage, more often then I’d like to admit, just to get a bowl! We’ve been doing this since 2016 :) Try the Hokkaido ramen! Extra spicy if you can handle it ;)“

“My first (of what is sure to be many) visit to this place. I didn't do all you can eat, I just ordered a la carte for lunch today. I got the beef tataki, takoyaki and chicken karaage. Everything was delicious but the karaage was the best I've ever had, and I lived in Japan for 3 years. Beautiful location, can't wait to go for a sit down meal soon.“

“This sushi spot was fire! The variety and flavors were on point. The only problem was that dessert wasn't included in the all-you-can-eat menu. You had to pay extra for that sweet stuff.

“Love this little place. We found it over a month ago. The server is always cheerful,charming and accommodating as well as knowledgeable.The food is wonderful the spring rolls are crispy and flavourful.I love the mango salad option so fresh and tasty. Tried the Korean BBQ it has a savory curry sauce and was just amazing..We have started bringing family and friends now, and they love it too.My husband loves the sushi tuna platter and gets his sushi fix while I can get anything else, it's all tasty and flavorful.Don't let the word get out too far. It's just our sweet little secret. ??

“food is really tasty. their sushi rolls in particular are great, thin layer of rice with LOTS of filling. the grilled squid is a personal fave of mine. their grilled kalbi was a bit tough and could’ve been marinated longer. fried dishes were good but nothing crazy special. atmosphere inside is super cool, really nice vibe!

“Sushi Moto is a hidden gem. We've tried sushi from all over Halifax to Truro and Sushi Moto takes the cake. A lot of places forget that sushi is also about the seafood/fish and not so much on the rice. Sushi Moto sushi rice is very well made and proportionally balanced with fish/seafood for a perfectly balanced bite packed with umami flavors.“

“I went there with a friend and ordered takeout. It was my first time there and I hate ordering off menus. There was a happy looking fellow in a ball hat and I asked that he choose what I had for lunch. Got back to the office and it was the most delicious meal I've had in a long time. Awesome props to this guy, thank you!!!“
“Hungry and still particular to quality food. So my wife and I were looking for a place to eat today. July 292023 at 4pm. Dartmouth Crossing has quite a few places to eat but most were common fast food places you see everywhere. Sushi Nami menu looked good and prices as expected. So we decided that we wanted sushi above all else. Wide open space inside, very bright, clean and not very busy in the late afternoon, as expected. The menu , four pages worth We ordered the Edamame, Mango Salad, Maki Dinner, Sweet Potato Maki, and Deluxe Moriawase. Dessert was lastly fried banana with three scoops of ice cream for the three pieces of banana… mango, black sesame and green tea ice creams Rather than go through in detail the why I would recommendation I will simply put it this way. Absolutely. Absolutely absolutely would I recommend this place. The service, the atmosphere, the choices, the serving the taste the prices everything about Sushi Nami Royale Is worth it. Our total bill for everything including $20 tip was $111.31 for two people and a lot of delicious food. I give it a 12/10“
