“Was looking for a place for dinner while exploring downtown Halifax, and decided to try this place because the prices looked reasonable and it was highly rated. Small restaurant, looks cute. Portion size is great. Sushi and sashimi was delicious and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised the beef udon came with marinated beef which was really good. Server was very attentive. As someone visiting from Calgary, it was great value considering the portion sizes. I definitely recommend eating here!“

“What a wonderful place! The staff were all so sweet, one of them explaining all the specials and the ordering process to me, checked in just frequently enough, and the food was absolutely fantastic! I didn't realise how much I'd missed miso soup until I had it here. The prices are very reasonable, too! Great value for an excellent experience!“

“This is the best ramen shop in the province! We’ve been to every one we can find, and these guys take the cake! We drive all the way over from Eastern Passage, more often then I’d like to admit, just to get a bowl! We’ve been doing this since 2016 :) Try the Hokkaido ramen! Extra spicy if you can handle it ;)“

“My first (of what is sure to be many) visit to this place. I didn't do all you can eat, I just ordered a la carte for lunch today. I got the beef tataki, takoyaki and chicken karaage. Everything was delicious but the karaage was the best I've ever had, and I lived in Japan for 3 years. Beautiful location, can't wait to go for a sit down meal soon.“

“I didn't get any photos; I visited on Sunday, June 1st, with my four young kids and sister-in-law. I just wanted to say that the service was amazing; the staff were very accommodating, and the food was fresh. My daughter, who has a sesame allergy, was able to eat sushi; they cleaned the oil for her and cooked her food first. My daughter, who is 1, was treated like royalty and given a small spoon and some crushed ice with a bowl of fruit. This visit was so enjoyable. The waiter was hands-down one of the best I have ever come across while dining with my kids. She was patient, kind, and very engaging. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate this visit 100.“

“Sushi Moto is a hidden gem. We've tried sushi from all over Halifax to Truro and Sushi Moto takes the cake. A lot of places forget that sushi is also about the seafood/fish and not so much on the rice. Sushi Moto sushi rice is very well made and proportionally balanced with fish/seafood for a perfectly balanced bite packed with umami flavors.“
“Hungry and still particular to quality food. So my wife and I were looking for a place to eat today. July 292023 at 4pm. Dartmouth Crossing has quite a few places to eat but most were common fast food places you see everywhere. Sushi Nami menu looked good and prices as expected. So we decided that we wanted sushi above all else. Wide open space inside, very bright, clean and not very busy in the late afternoon, as expected. The menu , four pages worth We ordered the Edamame, Mango Salad, Maki Dinner, Sweet Potato Maki, and Deluxe Moriawase. Dessert was lastly fried banana with three scoops of ice cream for the three pieces of banana… mango, black sesame and green tea ice creams Rather than go through in detail the why I would recommendation I will simply put it this way. Absolutely. Absolutely absolutely would I recommend this place. The service, the atmosphere, the choices, the serving the taste the prices everything about Sushi Nami Royale Is worth it. Our total bill for everything including $20 tip was $111.31 for two people and a lot of delicious food. I give it a 12/10“
