Fast Food Restaurants near New Glasgow

“It meant a great deal to us to find this quick and familiar restaurant open late and so close to the highway. We were making a very late trip home after a long day out in Halifax and found we had managed to miss dinner, were hungry, and most places were closed. The parking was large and very easy to navigate with our larger truck, the place was well lit, roomy and family friendly, the staff was busy, friendly and helpful. And it was clean, with no late night closed seating sections so there was plenty of choice for where we wanted to sit. We know it can be less than ideal to have to work late but we really appreciated this when we stopped. Thank you very much!“

“An employee came out from behind the kitchen area and cleaned off and wiped all the tables, I was shocked. Good you!The beef patties are still the same size which was nice to see. Not shrunken down like the restaurant with the golden arches.“

“Always great service, even on customized drink orders. Staff are happy to oblige with any orders they can reasonably accommodate. Clean resturant equipped with self serve kiosks if you don't feel like explaining your order or are just in a rush. The coffee and espresso based drinks are some of the best in town. Never thought I'd say that but that is the new reality.“

“My coworker and I were working across the street and stopped for lunch here. He accidentally ate my burger (Veggie burger) and since I'm a vegetarian I was stuck with a meat burger I couldn't eat. They were kind enough to exchange the meat burger for a beyond meat burger, even though it wasn't their fault. Solid customer service, wouldn't hesitate to come back.“

“Every DQ I've been to in NS has microwaved their burgers. Even this one. Not to mention I've had that happen during low and high peak hours. Yet I've never had a microwaved burger at any DQ in 3 other provinces.That being said, I was stuck stopping here and upset that I was going to have to have a microwaved burger. I was extremely surprised that they didn't microwave it and it was fresh.Glad that I can finally change a review for a DQ in NS. In my opinion they have one of the best menu's for fast food and was always disappointed here in NS. I have one 2 min from my house in Truro and refuse to go because of their microwave happiness. Maybe I'll give them another shot too.

Parking: Parking is plenty, but there is only about 5-6 right near the door. But this is due to it being a gas stop.“

“Dropped in for my daughter's bday supper (her request) with all dozen of her friends. The staff absolutely destroyed the task and made everything perfectly and weren't stressed at all. I hope those staff love their job cause I'd love to order from them again “

“This little restaurant is quaint and efficient. My girls were a little frustrated by how the sandwich was wrapped up open-face (as opposed to closing the bread and eating it like a sub) but once they opened the wrapper and folded the sandwich, they found it a lot easier to eat.“
