Fast Food Restaurants near New Glasgow

“This is the fastest fast food restaurant in New Glasgow. The friendly staff work hard and I have never waited more than 3 minutes for my food when ordering inside. The majority of fast food places seem to prioritize drive through, but this Wendy's has an excellent balance between their drive through and their front counter. I also really like the soft drink machine and that I can choose different flavors to add to my Coke haha My one complaint is the decor is fairly sterile and its always cold in there, so only 3 stars for atmosphere. I prefer ordering inside rather than the drive through, but I would rather eat in my car afterwards than sit inside.“

“An employee came out from behind the kitchen area and cleaned off and wiped all the tables, I was shocked. Good you!The beef patties are still the same size which was nice to see. Not shrunken down like the restaurant with the golden arches.“

Kid-friendliness: I'm a senior now and I absolutely love watching parents maneuver their children with ease. They hold up the tray of food and "Silence is Golden" ?“

“Every DQ I've been to in NS has microwaved their burgers. Even this one. Not to mention I've had that happen during low and high peak hours. Yet I've never had a microwaved burger at any DQ in 3 other provinces.That being said, I was stuck stopping here and upset that I was going to have to have a microwaved burger. I was extremely surprised that they didn't microwave it and it was fresh.Glad that I can finally change a review for a DQ in NS. In my opinion they have one of the best menu's for fast food and was always disappointed here in NS. I have one 2 min from my house in Truro and refuse to go because of their microwave happiness. Maybe I'll give them another shot too.

Parking: Parking is plenty, but there is only about 5-6 right near the door. But this is due to it being a gas stop.“

“My coworker and I were working across the street and stopped for lunch here. He accidentally ate my burger (Veggie burger) and since I'm a vegetarian I was stuck with a meat burger I couldn't eat. They were kind enough to exchange the meat burger for a beyond meat burger, even though it wasn't their fault. Solid customer service, wouldn't hesitate to come back.“

“Clean, fast and fresh, Sub sandwiches and more! You choose the bread, you choose the toppings, they make it, but you eat what you want, you can't complain about that!

Vegetarian options: You choose exactly what goes on the sandwich! If is all veggies, so be it!

Parking: large lot, if is too full, or you have a large Motorhome, there is parking across the street at the shopping centre.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is the buttons by the front door to get in and out, sidewalk from parking lot has a ramp.

“By far, the worst McDonalds in the eastcoast. Do not waste your money here. The food is always cold, never made or handled properly, they always forget parts to your orders, they always screw your order up, and you almost ALWAYS end up waiting in the waiting spot. They do not care about their jobs. I've tried going above their heads, and still nothing has changed. We will not ever go here again. The only reason they got 5 stars was, so I knew everyone would see this. The photos below are just some examples and we are a large family and often spend upwards of $80-$120. This is unacceptable ?“
