“What a great recommendation from a friend during the Grand Slam of Curling activities. We went to the East Side for a late breakfast on a Friday. It was packed, always a good sign. We waited 5 mins for a table and were quickly served coffee and our orders were taken. The hostess and servers were excellent. The food was delicious, bacon was well-cooked and the coffee was wonderful. We will definitely return next time we are in New Glasgow!“
“The recommended steak and new seasonal salad was absolutely delicious. Steak was cooked perfect, with the the side sauce was excellent. right amount of flavor in that sauce, you could still taste the beef. And that salad, not only was it visually beautiful, it tasted as good as it looked. Service was quick and very friendly. Not sure if the owner was the cook, but she made you feel like family. we will be back.“
“A great place. Love the atmosphere and the service is top notch.Only reason for the food 3 star rating, steak. It unfortunately was far over seasoned and not cooked as requested. Very salty( and i love salt) and chared to crunchy on the edge.We had chowder, wings and mussels. Exceptionally good meal overall. We will be back.“
“Came from out of town! Needed a bowl of homemade seafood chowder! It was fantastic! I swiped a piece of scallop from my sister, mashed potatoes from my nan and fish bites from mum, I had some of dad's tomatoe soup and the grilled cheese!! Home made deliciousness! Everything was great! Seems to be one of the few places that actually serve real mashed potatoes! Grandma loved the bread pudding! Highly recommended! Great food and friendly people!“
