“What an awesome day for a drive for the First Monday in April 2023. Sunshine, the the forest bones of winter shaking off the cold. Trip from Halifax to New Minas to Big Mike Pizza. Definitely worth the drive. Definitely our favourite pizza.”

“Wow! We stopped in for supper and were really impressed. Upon server recommendation, I ordered the Breakfast Poutine. Not something I’d normally choose… but it was incredible! It was the perfect blend of golden home fries, crispy bacon pieces, gooey cheese curds, and perfectly-cooked eggs, all topped with delicious hollandaise sauce. I have a new fav menu item!! Our server, Nora, was immediately welcoming. She greeted us warmly and made our visit cozy and enjoyable. Amazing food, atmosphere, and excellent customer service from Nora. Really impressed with this location and this visit.”

“Small, cozy restaurant. Five of us ate in the restaurant. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. We had the best dumplings any of us had ever had. The price was less than we are used to paying for a similar order. I highly recommend eating here.”

“Absolutely the best British fish and chips. I do not like crispy chips and these are the perfect softer British chips. The fish is always fresh and perfect. Highly recommend these British fish and chips. I can’t wait til it starts up again this year.”

“Really hot fresh food! Reasonable prices for the big portion size. The workers are really nice amd accommodating. We got take out, I think some of the negative reviews are from people gping to the buffet when the weather is horrible outside or its super dead and expect them to have 50 different hot dishes waiting for a single customer. I would recommend this place!”
