“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!”

“My hubby and I have eaten breakfast at your restaurant two different times and both times enjoyed it very much. However, I have a question. As you go through the door u see the sign Canadian Owned and also Truly Canadian. Then why are you not using French's catsup instead of Heinz. In our home we use only French's and it is Canadian. “North is one of our favorite local spots. They host fun events (the drag shows are wild and I love to see that type of support in our community). We love the atmosphere, food is great, staff is always lovely and the beer is always good - in fact, their sours are beyond the best around and I really hope they start brewing them again. I was definitely a bit disappointed that they haven't offered one recently so.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back your sours! I also think their merchandise offered is more stylish then a lot of other similar places. It has a unique surf/beachy vibe that I hope they continue. What's even better is that they offer a 15% discount you can use on merch, if you show your receipt after dining in their taproom! Keep up the great work!”

“What a great spot! Such friendly staff, and a wonderful variety of baked goods, lunches, coffees, slushies, and of course, caramels! My daughter and I had the best cheese toasties we have ever had 🤤, the Lure latte was very yummy and not too sweet, and the kids' sized slushy was the cutest, most perfect size. We enjoyed sitting outside, and of course had to test a caramel, as well (again: SO yummy and not overly sweet). We'll be back for sure! Thanks again! 🥰”

“As a person who travels alone a lot, I want to share my experiences about the awesome staff and great food that Le Rouge has to offer. While the menu is small it has something for everyone. Excellent apps , the most delicious steaks, seafood and the best Chocolate Cake. As a returning customer on the first night the Seth waiter /bartender ( recognized me and commented that I was here for my annual show. A year later he remembers my wine choice recommends a the best choice of a steak and of course my dessert taking great care in making sure my allergy to shrimp was never a threat. On my second night, again he recommends the Le Rouge burger that arrives hot and delicious and he tells me that my first choice of nachos contains a fish sauce that might contains shrimp he probably served dozens of customers but still remembered my allergy. I greatly appreciate that the staff was friendly with small talk and checking up me Seth and his new buddy Charbel were awesome to watch as they mixed up a constant array of drinks. With a great atmosphere, delicious food and supreme staff I give Le Rouge a 12 out 10 . I ate at Le Rouge for 6 nights and every meal was awesome 🤩”

“Stopped into White Sails and had the cheeseburger and poutine. Both were fantastic. The burger was really good and the poutine hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were great. Definitely a place I’d go back to!”

No frills, no pretension—just a classic community bar. Everyone knows everyone, and if you don’t, give it a night—you will. The room’s full of characters from all walks of life, like a barroom sitcom where somehow it all works. There’s a seat for anyone who walks in.

Karaoke is what they’re known for, and for good reason. Donna’s been running the show for nearly two decades and she is the party. The food’s consistently solid, the prices are more than fair, and the staff know exactly what they’re doing.

“It is simply fresh, delicious and affordable. They use original recipes for their sauces, dough and donair meat. Burgers and fish are freshly cut and prepared daily. G’s garlic fingers is featured on Andy’s east coast kitchen! It is definitely worthy to try!”

“Popped in here after a day at the shops in Bayers Lake for a late lunch/early dinner at 3:00 pm with my husband and 4 year old son. The waitress was super friendly and sweet with my kid and her son of a similar age was around as well. Good family vibe here. Not a fancy place by any means but comfortable.

We ordered Egg rolls, Cream Cheese Wontons and Dumplings for appetizers! All were EXCELLENT and very fresh and flavourful. Some of my favorite Nova Scotian style egg rolls I've ever had with the meat inside flavoured really nicely.

The the kid got chicken balls with fries (very affordable little kid's meal version). We got fried rice, Beef and Broccoli, Honey Garlic Spare Ribs and General Tsao's Chicken. Here again, everything was so fresh, flavourful and just very well made, not too greasy.

This is my new favorite Chinese place in the HRM and I will definitely be back.”
