“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!”

“My hubby and I have eaten breakfast at your restaurant two different times and both times enjoyed it very much. However, I have a question. As you go through the door u see the sign Canadian Owned and also Truly Canadian. Then why are you not using French's catsup instead of Heinz. In our home we use only French's and it is Canadian. “What a great spot! Such friendly staff, and a wonderful variety of baked goods, lunches, coffees, slushies, and of course, caramels! My daughter and I had the best cheese toasties we have ever had 🤤, the Lure latte was very yummy and not too sweet, and the kids' sized slushy was the cutest, most perfect size. We enjoyed sitting outside, and of course had to test a caramel, as well (again: SO yummy and not overly sweet). We'll be back for sure! Thanks again! 🥰”

“North is one of our favorite local spots. They host fun events (the drag shows are wild and I love to see that type of support in our community). We love the atmosphere, food is great, staff is always lovely and the beer is always good - in fact, their sours are beyond the best around and I really hope they start brewing them again. I was definitely a bit disappointed that they haven't offered one recently so.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back your sours! I also think their merchandise offered is more stylish then a lot of other similar places. It has a unique surf/beachy vibe that I hope they continue. What's even better is that they offer a 15% discount you can use on merch, if you show your receipt after dining in their taproom! Keep up the great work!”

“We came to Montana’s for lunch last week and had such a great experience thanks to Kayla and Darcy! From the moment we sat down, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They checked in at just the right times, made sure our drinks were always topped up, and were quick with anything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. You can tell they really care about giving good service — they were upbeat, professional, and made the whole lunch feel relaxed and enjoyable.
It’s always nice when good food is paired with even better service. Kayla and Darcy definitely made our visit extra pleasant. We’ll absolutely be back!”

“As a person who travels alone a lot, I want to share my experiences about the awesome staff and great food that Le Rouge has to offer. While the menu is small it has something for everyone. Excellent apps , the most delicious steaks, seafood and the best Chocolate Cake. As a returning customer on the first night the Seth waiter /bartender ( recognized me and commented that I was here for my annual show. A year later he remembers my wine choice recommends a the best choice of a steak and of course my dessert taking great care in making sure my allergy to shrimp was never a threat. On my second night, again he recommends the Le Rouge burger that arrives hot and delicious and he tells me that my first choice of nachos contains a fish sauce that might contains shrimp he probably served dozens of customers but still remembered my allergy. I greatly appreciate that the staff was friendly with small talk and checking up me Seth and his new buddy Charbel were awesome to watch as they mixed up a constant array of drinks. With a great atmosphere, delicious food and supreme staff I give Le Rouge a 12 out 10 . I ate at Le Rouge for 6 nights and every meal was awesome 🤩”

“What a fabulous place I wish I could give them 10 stars! We stopped in to pick up a beautiful local ham. Of course, we just had to get a couple of sweets and while we were there, we decided to have lunch, so burgers and fries it was! So delicious, freshly made patty and very generous toppings. And the fries.... hand cut and perfect! White Sails is so deserving of our business. They totally support their community, too. Please support local.”

“Came tor Trivia night and ordered quesidila. Little pricey for food but I guess fairly standard these days, but the drinks were reasonably priced. Iverall decent experience. Typical pub fair and vibe for the most part. Service was decent, food came out quite fast”

“If I ever move to another neighborhood, I’d still come back to Halifax just for this place.
Seriously the best Thai food. I’ve tried most of the menu and haven’t found a single bad dish yet.
My go-tos are always the squid ring fries and pad thai but the fried rice is so good too.
The Thai chilli fish is also a must. The sauce is next level.
Honestly, everything here is good. You have to try it. Sometimes they are too busy to serve foods fast enough but worth it”
