“We just had the most wonderful dinner and evening at Martin's Kitchen. It was our first time and they did not disappoint. We do not have one complaint about our experience. The food was top notch and our server, Holly was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about each dish on the menu and she was so personable. Such a friendly and kind staff. Ty for such a lovely time! “Yesterday we had the privilege of eating at The Narrows Halofax, Nova Scotia's #1 Public House and number #12 in Canada. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and personable host made us feel like we were home! “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! The Prospect Road location is going to be such a well loved location - so much so that, I don’t think the staff realized how much of the community would flock there. They’re BUSY, and out of ingredients, but the staff there were HUSTLING around, smiling and getting orders out that they could. I expect delays at the beginning. They never expected so much traffic, give them patience folks and expect a mess up in your order possibly or wait until they are fully loaded and in the flow with the area. Otherwise incredible sub (despite picking off a couple things I didn’t ask for), the bread was amazing, still 10/10 would go back, and didn’t even care it was chaotic. Inside though although small, its essentially a novelty convenience store with local goodies. They have a little bakery section with homemade stuff, the moon mist fudge was incredible and a must try! They also had a bunch of “Jones Soda” flavours that I’ve never seen before anywhere around here - even at the big candy stores, (like s’mores and the fallout edition one) which was pretty cool!! They still have ice cream and everything that was at multi scoop - just with a lot more options and delicious fresh options to go. Something for ANYONE at a really reasonable price. “I hired Tareks for catering on this week and OH MY GOODNESS! Fantastic as always; Incredibly fresh, flavourful and so easy! I told him how many people and he gave suggestions and was the least stressful catering order I have ever placed. It arrived hot and fresh and perfectly on time. So much food we all had a second plate and still had leftovers at the end. Highly recommend Tareks for any time lunches, dinners or catering. Has to be one of the best in the city, not one complaint from my group of 15 people! He even called afterwards to check in that everything was received - absolutely amazing service! “Stopped by the counter at Wild Leek on Saturday morning and ended up staying way longer than planned just taking pictures of the light coming through the front windows. The avocado toast with the poached egg was genuinely great, and the woman working the juice station was happy to let me snap a shot of her pouring a beet blend without making it weird. It's a tight little spot so don't expect a ton of seating, but the exposed brick and plants make for a really nice backdrop if you're into that kind of thing. Already planning to go back with my camera on a quieter weekday morning to catch it before the rush.”

The brisket and shrimp spring rolls served with peanut sauce were so fresh and tasty - highly recommend this new menu item! The shrimp vermicelli bowl served with fish sauce was absolutely delightful, and my husband had a dish with pork, rice, vegetables with a fried egg on top served with a sweet sauce. He loved his meal! If you're into spicy drinks, try the tamarind margarita - it has a real kick and is so good! Great restaurant - can't wait to return! :)”

Location is humble and unassuming. Just one barista on staff, so be patient. He was kind and helpful.

We both had regular fare lattes which were excellent with great presentation. Flavor was great. Not a Starbucks so dont expect a bunch of different flavors or options. But for a well prepared coffee or latte, it is a great option in the city.”
