“I’ve been going to TBR for years now, and it’s the definition of a true local haunt—packed with regulars and soon-to-be regulars every week. I first showed up for Friday night karaoke, just looking for something fun with a few neighbors, and ended up finding a place to hang my hat.

No frills, no pretension—just a classic community bar. Everyone knows everyone, and if you don’t, give it a night—you will. The room’s full of characters from all walks of life, like a barroom sitcom where somehow it all works. There’s a seat for anyone who walks in.

Karaoke is what they’re known for, and for good reason. Donna’s been running the show for nearly two decades and she is the party. The food’s consistently solid, the prices are more than fair, and the staff know exactly what they’re doing.

Do yourself a favor—go once. You’ll walk out wondering how it didn’t become “your bar” sooner.“

“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

“As a person who travels alone a lot, I want to share my experiences about the awesome staff and great food that Le Rouge has to offer. While the menu is small it has something for everyone. Excellent apps , the most delicious steaks, seafood and the best Chocolate Cake. As a returning customer on the first night the Seth waiter /bartender ( recognized me and commented that I was here for my annual show. A year later he remembers my wine choice recommends a the best choice of a steak and of course my dessert taking great care in making sure my allergy to shrimp was never a threat. On my second night, again he recommends the Le Rouge burger that arrives hot and delicious and he tells me that my first choice of nachos contains a fish sauce that might contains shrimp he probably served dozens of customers but still remembered my allergy. I greatly appreciate that the staff was friendly with small talk and checking up me Seth and his new buddy Charbel were awesome to watch as they mixed up a constant array of drinks. With a great atmosphere, delicious food and supreme staff I give Le Rouge a 12 out 10 . I ate at Le Rouge for 6 nights and every meal was awesome 🤩“

“Great time. Brought my daughter and grandkids and bordered their classic kitchen sink. The kids loved the novelty. Ordered jungle juice for the kids and the waiter happily brought marachino cherries for the kids drinks. Our spinach dip was unfortunetly cold and they happily took it off our ordered. Disappointing as I do love their spinach dip.“

“We stopped by Swiss Chalet in Bedford after a morning of sightseeing and the quarter chicken dinner with extra dipping sauce really hit the spot. It was mid-afternoon so the place was quiet and we got a cozy booth by the window without any wait. The server checked in on us a couple of times without being pushy, which we always appreciate at our age. Parking right out front made it easy too, and we will definitely stop in again next time we are in the area.“

“As usual the food was very good. We go there quite often because of good food and service. The food is always consistent which can’t be said for other restaurants. I have been to a lot of them. Those donuts are so good and act like children to make sure we get equal share 😁“

“You guys really need to step it up when it comes to consistency. I'm so tired of paying good money for food and being disappointed. You used to be my go to for everything and I keep trying and hoping that things have improved but one week I'll get a large donair and it's a large and tastes good, next week ill order a large donair and get a small burnt one. same thing with donair subs. I just paid $15 for a large donair, it was tiny and the sauce on it taste like milk not at all like donair sauce. Done with spending good money and getting something different every time I won't try again that's for sure.“

My food..the panned cooked haddock with veggies...real mashed potatoes and coleslaw.tartar sauce etc.. was a large serving which I dang near licked the plate clean.
