“I stopped here on the way back during a 55 km bike ride. Initially, I thought the price of the car he was a little high until I actually taste of coffee. I have to say it was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had in my life. 100% worth the money that I paid for! I also had a banana chocolate chip muffin with it, which was delicious. Whether stopping in a car or cycling along the BLT trail and stopping in, this is a must stop for anybody passing by. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I will absolutely be back.”

“First time here and the food is fantastic! I had the fish burger and chips, my husband had the medium fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked, the batter not too thick at all, it was super crisp. Fries are excellent. Portions are just right.”

“So much better than KFC, and it took me so long to try it. But it is the Canadian option so I gave it a try and was very pleasantly surprised. The pieces of chicken are large and delicious and their taters are to die for.”

“After a disastrous visit to the DQ in Bayers Lake I decided to take my money to the Tantallon location. The two young ladies at the cash were so pleasant and did my cake order up quickly. Highly recommend this store.”

“This location has some of the best employees. Most are Filipino, lovely, polite, hard working, a joy! However, the quality of ingredients has gotten so very bad. idk if I'll ever go back. Ham is not even ham anymore, it's processed leftovers pressed into a round. Meat so thin you can see through it. Same for the cheese. Flatbread is like paper. You have to almost ask for more of everything when adding toppings. They don't put much on. I'd gladly pay more for better ingredients and enough so you can taste that there is meat on it. The place is clean, bright and inviting. Sad it's got to this point. I understand the costs are ridiculous.”

“We went on December 19th, and honestly. It was really good. The broccoli was fresh, hot and with what looked like roast beef. Chicken balls were one of the best I've had.

My folks enjoyed their meals as well. Despite the power going out we did get our meals just in time! I was skeptical because of the reviews but, pleasantly surprised!

The inside could certainly use a face-lift, a little outdated. And maybe different table tops because it is a little sticky. I didn't think the place was filthy like some comments suggested.

“I can't say enough good about this small business, or the folks who operate it. The place is tiny, but it somehow manages to not only present a great variety of baked goods and take-out items from the grill (including many truely gluten-free items), but also an assortment of precooked meals, such as cabbage rolls, meatloaf, and shepherd's pie -- they even offer deals on fresh vegetables and meat! The service is take-out only, and there are about three steps to get down on the inside, but there is lots of parking and an area of picnic tables nestled cozily beside lovely Whynacht's Cove, where, during the summer you can even enjoy karaoke while you eat! If you talk to the locals, they will tell you, with great pride, stories of how the entire family has made giving back to the community a priority. White Sails may be small in size, but it's big in heart (and taste!).”
