The service was excellent. My wife had a chai latte (I tried it - it was delicious). I had drip coffee. She had a macaroon. I had a chocolate dipped oatcake. One of the better outcakes I've had.

There is a fair amount of seating inside and a few chairs/tables outside.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

“Excellent food, superb service, and a great atmosphere. Main floor is good for a nice, quiet chat, while upstairs is a very cozy pub with music and the feel of a small Irish pub.

“The best winery we visited in NS! I didn't catch her name but the reddish haired lady working the bar inside was so sweet and really made our experience great. We had a great time tasting all the wines and learning more about the winery from her. I bought a bottle of Tidal Bay to take home and can't wait to crack it open to remind me of being there!”

“Love this little café! Stopped here for lunch and had a delicious veggie wrap with an oat hot chocolate. I was impressed with both. My friend also liked their Ham & Swiss with a maple pecan square. I appreciate how they use fair trade products and offer a program to pay forward meals/drinks to those who can't afford them. Looking forward to my next visit!

“My wife and I met two out-of-province couples for a meal at Rossie's Wolfville. I was used to Rossie's Kenville and always enjoyed eating there. Five of our group ordered from the breakfast menu, and I ordered Seafood chowder. The waitress rates a 10 for friendliness, efficiency, and attentiveness to our needs. The breakfast also rates high on our list. The seafood chowder, however, rates a 3-4 out of 10 for the following reasons: quantity, quality, and cost. The bowls could have been used as plates if they were any shallower. In the bottom of the shallow bowl were two prawns, one scallop, two pieces of a white flesh fish, which I assume was haddock, a white cream covering the bottom. As one who searches every menu whenever I visit an eating establishment, I am very disappointed in what I am served at Rossie's Wolfville. The $18.00 cost was way overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. I will eat at Rossie's again, but I never order seafood chowder.”

“What an awesome day for a drive for the First Monday in April 2023. Sunshine, the the forest bones of winter shaking off the cold. Trip from Halifax to New Minas to Big Mike Pizza. Definitely worth the drive. Definitely our favourite pizza.”

“There are lots of good things to say about Dayan. The place is clean, the owner is super friendly, and the portion sizes are 1/3 larger for the price than we've gotten at any sushi place in Halifax or the Valley. On the down side, we had 5 different rolls between us, all spicy, and unfortunately the sauce was so heavy handed that the only taste differentiation was the fact that some had teriyaki sauce and some didn’t. The rolls were also a bit hard to eat as they fell apart when picked up. Fresh food and good value, but a little more variety in flavour would be appreciated.”

“Last night was not my first time at this restaurant. I consider it an above average restaurant. So when my out-of-town friends came for a visit, I called for reservations, and I was excited that my party of 4 was able to be squeezed in on a night that featured live music! Boy! Was I ever shocked when I got there!! Zakary Miller is good, but he definitely does not play dinner music!! It was so loud, that I had to scream to speak to my friends that were no more than a few inches away from me!! It hurt my throat! And the people sitting at the tables around me were also screaming! Then out came Zakary's kazoo!! Oh no! It was horrible and I felt bad for bringing my friends there!! 😞 What a relief when Zakary Miller ended and we were able to at least enjoy dessert in peace and quiet. I think Zakary Miller would have been fun, and funny, if he had been unplugged! Please consider mellow, acoustic music next Thursday! I will not go back on "live music Thursdays"!!”

“J'ai adoré l'endroit! Le café est excellent!! J'ai essayé différentes pâtisseries avec mon conjoint et nous avons adoré! Les employées étaient très gentilles, accueillantes et prenaient le temps de répondre aux questions. Les lieux étaient accueillants avec des tables, bancs avec coussins, fauteuils... Les lieux sont en 2 sections : la partie avant qui donnait vue sur la rue(beaux bâtiments et belles entreprises à découvrir!) ou à l'arrière avec vue sur la petite rivière. Le stationnement est facile soit dans la rue ou dans le stationnement tout près. Nous y sommes retournés avant de quitter le région.”
