“I read about this restaurant prior to our trip and it did not disappoint. This quaint spot has an attentive and good humored wait staff (Tiffany was a gem!). The food was delicious and fresh. The seafood bisque was one of the best soups I’ve had and my spouse enjoyed the Bugsy Burger. The decor made me dive into history. While this is our first time in Boulder City, we were made to feel welcome like a local.”

“My husband & I were there Saturday for an early breakfast. It was packed. Great service & great food. Good coffee. I had the best chicken fried steak with gravy that I've had in a long time. My husband's breakfast burrito required a fork because there was so many ingredients packed inside. Quite tasty food with a large menu to order from. I highly recommend this Boulder City restaurant.”

“The bartender was wonderful! We had planned to eat something but the shortage of a real cook made the menu limited. We played some video games and had a nice time visiting with the friendly bartender. I wish I’d gotten his name. He gave us a great suggestion for a nice meal and I won $4.50 on Keno.”

“OMG, I never thought I would say this, but I believe I had the best sushi I have ever had in Bolder City, Nevada. So delicious. They were great in accommodating food allergies for one person and they were wonderful, helpful and careful. The sushi was absolutely amazing. We were stunned at how good it was.”

“Young or old, great place to hang out with friends or make new ones while drinking great craft beer, i like the Boomstick blonde ale, oh and the Bartenders are the best!! Occasional live music, outside patio with lots of picnik tables and even cornhole. Kids enjoy the fish and turtle pond. What can I say they have it all. Hungry?? Burger Boi makes the best smashburgers, I recommend the Cowboy Smash. So go ahead and stop by in historic Boulder City, I'm sure it won't disappoint.”

“We were in town looking at the Hoover Dam we stumbled upon this place and had a really good experience. We had Grilled Ham and Cheese , Tomato Soup and a meatball sub, I am afraid of other peoples meatballs but these were home made and extremely good meatballs one of the best meatball subs i have ever had. The grilled ham and cheese tomato soup was top notch as well. We found out while we were waiting, the place is family owned and run. The owners were there working hard James is also a veteran , I am always happy to patronize family owned and of course veteran owned. you will not be disappointed....”

“I stopped to try the Dog’s….i figured anything called Mom’s will at least make an effort. Well Denise (mom) nailed it. The Chicago dog was as good as anything that I have had in the Windy City. In fact she beast out Windy City hot dogs in Las Vegas and Henderson. It’s a little shack that pays attention to detail. Worth a trip”

“I recently threw a party at Cleveland's. I pre met with the owners to set up my plan. They were friendly, & helpful in giving me ideas. I Had over 50 guests, used who they recommended for catering, brought in an iPad Photo Booth & our own desserts. The place was perfect. The staff was on top of it, the food vendor was awesome and the desserts perfect. The iPad booth had a spot without taking up to much room. I recommend Cleveland's for your next private event. 🥳”

“I was not supposed to get buzzed but I couldn’t help it. Best night time I have had in BC. Ownership and staff’s hospitality was beyond expectations. FM Prophet band was spot on, karaoke was inviting (even though I passed lol). Bartender K was amazing regardless of been crazy busy. An environment of great music, food, drinks and mainly great people.”

“Best place because its the best dive bar... I used to come here when a gentleman named Brett or Brad worked here but the rest of the staff is amazing. I came in for a drink and walked into a comedy club on Monday night at 930. They even let me vamp a little on stage for being an older guy. Heard the owner is a great owner to work for as well, Kurt I think someone said. Well backstop you have restored my faith in great dive bars and yours is hands down one of the best. Thanks again”

“Recently I got to enjoy meeting Jana who runs the Colorado River Roasters in Boulder City. She was nice enough to give me a wonderful tour of her beautifully laid out roasting warehouse. What made me want to go and visit this roasting facility, I bought a bag of Sumatra Queen Ketiara over at The Dam Coffee House in Boulder City. This whole bean, tasted like it was roasted to perfection. It had some really great tasting notes, I had to find out more about this particular roasting house. I am so happy I went for a visit. Jana is a great educator, she really knows the science behind how to roast the coffee beans so you get the benefits of the flavor and the of the beans itself. Just to let you know, I bought four more bags while at this facility. Great coffee! Keep up the good work.

The 4☆ for service is bcs the young man that was putting my bigger plate order together forgot to put my Honey Walnut Shrimp, but rather made room for the almond shrimp, closed the bigger plate lid and placed my honey sesame chicken breast in the small box container😅😠 While no one is perfect, especially a young man putting together an order, noticing a large Polynesian waiting, could become distracted. So, having said that, I'll take this one on me. As always, food is fantastic. Service is always great. As for the atmosphere, I gave it 5☆ given the fact I only walked in to pickup my online order bcs the drive-thru was packed. Mahalo a hui hou”

“About 3 years ago I was introduced to a taco with its own soup. Birria tacos became my favorite tacos ever. I have had tons of them. THESE ARE THE BEST!! Amazing queso birria taco tacos. The consomé is perfect. ”

“We ordered two orders of shrimp fried rice to go. They were fast in cooking despite one cook in the kitchen. Kids were happy with the food.

They were nice to give to go plates as well.
