“I read about this restaurant prior to our trip and it did not disappoint. This quaint spot has an attentive and good humored wait staff (Tiffany was a gem!). The food was delicious and fresh. The seafood bisque was one of the best soups I’ve had and my spouse enjoyed the Bugsy Burger. The decor made me dive into history. While this is our first time in Boulder City, we were made to feel welcome like a local.”

“The Coffee Cup Cafe is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Long Beach. My favorite go to dish is the Hanks plate aka the chicken chili verde. We love the salsa that they use on it. They also have different delicious salsas that you can ask for. Parking is a little tough in the neighborhood but its worth the wait. See you there!!!”

“My husband & I were there Saturday for an early breakfast. It was packed. Great service & great food. Good coffee. I had the best chicken fried steak with gravy that I've had in a long time. My husband's breakfast burrito required a fork because there was so many ingredients packed inside. Quite tasty food with a large menu to order from. I highly recommend this Boulder City restaurant.”

“After a full day of hiking at the Valley of Fire, I wanted something quiet and found the perfect sushi spot. I had Johnny's Special Roll, which had just the right amount of heat and paired well with the spicy tuna and salmon tempura. The Crab Rangoons were fresh and arrived at my table within minutes of ordering. For dessert, I had their Green Tea Crème Brûlée, which was delicious and flavorful without being overly sweet. I would recommend this place if you want a great meal in this beautiful town.”

“The BEST Chinese food around! I’ve tried multiple dishes here and everything is amazing in flavor! Since everything is made to order, I am guaranteed fully vegan meals that I can trust. If you are in Playa Del Carmen and you don’t try Angie’s, you are simply missing out!!! Highly recommended!!!! Thanks Angie and Ken for bringing us delicious HOT food directly to our door!!!”

“I stopped to try the Dog’s….i figured anything called Mom’s will at least make an effort. Well Denise (mom) nailed it. The Chicago dog was as good as anything that I have had in the Windy City. In fact she beast out Windy City hot dogs in Las Vegas and Henderson. It’s a little shack that pays attention to detail. Worth a trip”

“We were in town looking at the Hoover Dam we stumbled upon this place and had a really good experience. We had Grilled Ham and Cheese , Tomato Soup and a meatball sub, I am afraid of other peoples meatballs but these were home made and extremely good meatballs one of the best meatball subs i have ever had. The grilled ham and cheese tomato soup was top notch as well. We found out while we were waiting, the place is family owned and run. The owners were there working hard James is also a veteran , I am always happy to patronize family owned and of course veteran owned. you will not be disappointed....”

“Young or old, great place to hang out with friends or make new ones while drinking great craft beer, i like the Boomstick blonde ale, oh and the Bartenders are the best!! Occasional live music, outside patio with lots of picnik tables and even cornhole. Kids enjoy the fish and turtle pond. What can I say they have it all. Hungry?? Burger Boi makes the best smashburgers, I recommend the Cowboy Smash. So go ahead and stop by in historic Boulder City, I'm sure it won't disappoint.”

“About 3 years ago I was introduced to a taco with its own soup. Birria tacos became my favorite tacos ever. I have had tons of them. THESE ARE THE BEST!! Amazing queso birria taco tacos. The consomé is perfect. ”

You just don't see that anymore but you do at CRCR! I love that it is a completely family owned company. If you haven't tried this coffee you HAVE to! Hands down best coffee!!!”

The 4☆ for service is bcs the young man that was putting my bigger plate order together forgot to put my Honey Walnut Shrimp, but rather made room for the almond shrimp, closed the bigger plate lid and placed my honey sesame chicken breast in the small box container😅😠 While no one is perfect, especially a young man putting together an order, noticing a large Polynesian waiting, could become distracted. So, having said that, I'll take this one on me. As always, food is fantastic. Service is always great. As for the atmosphere, I gave it 5☆ given the fact I only walked in to pickup my online order bcs the drive-thru was packed. Mahalo a hui hou”

“I was not supposed to get buzzed but I couldn’t help it. Best night time I have had in BC. Ownership and staff’s hospitality was beyond expectations. FM Prophet band was spot on, karaoke was inviting (even though I passed lol). Bartender K was amazing regardless of been crazy busy. An environment of great music, food, drinks and mainly great people.”

“After a catastrophic failure at the restaurant next door and walking out, I walked over here still hungry. Steve was cool and friendly. The food was simple but decent. I had a carne asada burrito with rice, bean, and cheese. It definitely filled me up with the side of chips and salsa. The hot salsa was fantastic and definitely prepared well. Add some to your burrito. Drinks are free if you’re playing. I was not but my tab for 3 drinks and my meal was only 21 bucks!! I could not even get a drink sitting for 15 min to lmk”

“Hands down, Capriotti's makes the best sandwiches and I'm so glad that this one exists in Boulder City. Way better than Subway or the like! Their bread is way tastier, their ingredients are always fresh and maybe it's just me but I feel like overall, you get way more bang for your buck or at least, in terms of how much sandwich you get. My wife and I love their Classic Italian Sub with everything on it but their Meatball Sandwich is awesome too. The dining area at this particular location is on the small side and more suited for a quick lunch during a work break and so for the most part, we take our order to go and just eat at home. Of course, if you're just passing through town on your way to see the Hoover Dam or visit Lake Mead, this is a great place to load up on a picnic lunch. Service here is always fast and friendly and you won't be diappointed.”

Visited on Sept 5, 2024 and the chefs in the kitchen made the most perfect, juicy chicken for my simple chicken salad. Exactly what we'd been looking for for 3 days in Vegas.
And, the salad was big enough to split.”
