Sara, the hostess, and their assistant were amazing! Absolutely excellent FOH personnel. The food was 3.5 of 5. Only critiques being the steak had no sear and definitely wasn't rare and the melted butter had a walkin smell. I'd still definitely go back.
We visited Aspens for Valentine’s Day as we had our first date there 6 months ago we thought it would be amazing to go back. As expected they were extremely busy , the staff was great even with the rush but the food was no where compared to our first visit. My steak was extremely rare not medium rare and my mashed potatoes that were so good last time were bland and seemed like instant potatoes. Aspens Steakhouse offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially suited for a small town like Elko. The menu features items like Caesar Salad, Shrimp Cocktail with 4 Jumbo shrimp, a 20 oz Lobster tail, and the Tomahawk. Guests enjoy the delicious bread spread and rolls. The restaurant has recently upgraded its cuisine with a new chef, Chef Florence, known for moist, perfectly seasoned, and crispy skin chicken.
