Best chinese food in the area hands down. Also affordable
I get egg rolls all the time here and they are the best. We are in town for a procedure for my husband, and he can only have fluids. They went out of their way and made him some outstanding broth to get him through. It was nice to be able to find the simple stuff when you’re away from home! I thank all of them from my whole heart!
We stopped off at Elko here after reading reviews. It did not disappoint. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. I was happy to find a place off the road where I could get food with vegetables, not just a burger or tacos. It was enough food for my husband and I to share. We ordered their three item plate with a side of hot and sour soup. It was certainly worth stopping. Would go again.

Great Wall Express Chinese Restaurant is a long-standing favorite in Elko. The owners and staff are incredibly nice and professional, often knowing customers by name. The food is consistently yummy, fresh, and served hot at the proper temperature, unlike other places. Many meals are praised, including the best mayonnaise shrimp, orange chicken, general tsoa chicken, chow mein noodles, dumplings, Home Cooking Style Bean Curd, and Vegetable Egg Foo Young. The food is super saucy with a slight bit of heat, and the flavors are wonderful. Portions are generous, and prices are a great value, with a large amount of food available for a low cost. The location is good, and the inside is decorated nicely. While one visit had poor customer service, the food remained delicious. Overall, Great Wall Express offers excellent fare and is easily one of the better options in town, way better than Panda Express.
