“Stopped into this local watering hole while traveling through the charming town of Minden. I enjoyed an IPA on tap as well as a spinach-garlic pizza (made fresh to order). Beer and pizza were very good. Service was very friendly and although I am not a local, I was treated like ‘a regular.’ Atmosphere is ‘old-school’ casual. Location is right in the heart of historic (downtown) Minden.“

“Great low-key late-night spot to grab a drink with friends or on your own-usually will be a few locals in there any given night (all very warm and inviting-sometimes playing a game and will ask you if you’d like to join in) Service from Amanda was STELLAR. Atmosphere is a vibe-reminds me of a cozy tavern feeling. Would highly recommend stopping by!“

“The dishes were beautifully presented and full of fresh flavors. The sesame-crusted seared tuna with noodles was outstanding — light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with crunchy vegetables and a tangy dressing.
The salmon entrée was cooked just right — tender inside with a crispy seared edge, served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh greens, making it both rich and healthy.
The green soup was surprisingly delightful — smooth, flavorful, and visually stunning with a delicate cream design on top.
Overall, the restaurant offers elegant plating, fresh ingredients, and a calm, cozy atmosphere. A great place for a relaxing dinner or date night.“

“Why is this terrific old saloon being touted as a 4 star American restaurant? While it is beyond cool in its old western cowboy charm, it is a saloon where locals, bikers and tourists come to drink all day and relive the bygone days. It is not a date night restaurant in any sense.“
