Food was very good. We ate outside since it was a nice cool evening. Got to watch some golfers golf. The indoor dining was just a big room with tables. Nothing special about dining in or out. But the food was good. We ordered the beet salad (AMAZING), fish and chips (more batter than fish ? but still good), cheeseburger (kids liked it) and kids chicken tenders. That beet salad though... I'll be dreaming about it for a long time ?
Amazing food, everything was cooked perfectly from the fluffy fish, to perfectly crisped sweet potatoes. The restaurant prices was very reasonable for being on a golf course, and the view of the course with the mountain was perfect. If you looking for a laid back dinner this place should be on your list

I had been wanting to try The Grille at The Chateau for sometime, but we are typically in IV when they are closed for the season. (Open only mid-May to mid-October.) The day didn't start with The Grille in mind. First lunch stop was Old Town Truckee. Beautiful Saturday and, not unexpectedly, Truckee was overrun with tourists.
