“Me and my husband had just left the dmv and were looking for a local small business for lunch . We looked up the Poke Shack and visually it was adorable ! The signs inside and seating really gave that aloha feel. But when we tried the FOOD… OMG. The flavors were out of this world ! The inigiri, the fries , the Thai tea everything was amazing !!! This place is a must try if you are in the Summerlin area! The owners are also so nice and welcoming“

“Okay so bear in mind I ordered this on uber eats right? This place, and I cannot stress this enough, was freakin’ mind blowingly good I swear! I literally tucked into it with my buddy and we were questioning all the other meals we had and why we didn’t order it sooner. It was almost a punishment we finished it because we tried ordering it again immediately but then it closed which was depressing. Even the chicken was so fully of flavour don’t even let me get started on how amazing the beef was! The sticky rice and Mac & cheese my oh my was it damn good! I can’t wait to come back for it.“

“I’ve had many poke bowls over the years in Hawaii, but the Poke Heaven poke bowl in Las Vegas is the Best authentic poke bowl ever! Made up of fresh ahi (tuna) and salmon seasoned so right. The large poke bowl is like a combination poke bowl and chirashi (rice with a variety of delicious toppings). It’s da best! Also the Korean fried chicken is something very special. This is another dish that is “no ka oi” (the best). The homemade sauce created by the chef raises the flavor of the Korean fried chicken to another level! It is soooo good, better than any Korean fried chicken I’ve had anywhere. The garlic shrimp and ramen was also so ono (delicious). When you are in Vegas you gotta try Poke Heaven, their poke bowls, korean fried chicken, garlic shrimp, and ramen are the best! The staff and atmosphere is so warm and friendly, you can feel the aloha. They’re located right next to UNLV so if you’re a student there and you get the craving for local grinds check out Poke Heaven!“

“I entered irritated cause they opened the door 2 minutes after 9am— you could say I was hangry— but totally forgot about it when I got my breakfast plates haha. I loved the simple spam musubi and Mac and of course loved the Portuguese sausage platters.

The staff don’t seem to have the aloha spirit.. but maybe cause it’s 9am in the morning and didn’t have their coffee yet.. or cause they moved from Hawaii long time. I noticed a lot who’s lived here adapt the stand off ish attitude which is understandable to survive here. The customers who’s visiting from Hawaii definitely have more of the aloha spirit and make up the vibe of this place.“

“Paina Cafe on Blue Diamond serves fresh, flavorful poke bowls with lots of options, and the mochi donuts are a delicious treat. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, but the staff could work on improving their customer service a bit. Still worth a visit!“

“I haven't the foggiest idea how I found out about Susha Bites but, besides my 3 great children and my husband who is my own personal chef, this place is up on my list of what I am grateful for. We moved to Charleston Heights three years back and it is a good area for fun eateries. More are popping up all the time! We order delivery because well, COVID changed our life patterns so much, and we are now loyal fans. If we have to decide what to eat, Susha Bites is always popular in our house. Maybe tonight too! So we have tried quite a few. My husband loves the chicken bowls. I am a huge fan of Chickidiggy and the spam musubi which is big enough to support my car if I ever get a flat tire!! Silly Lily and Screaming Olivia are also very tasty. I also love Leeky Sushi, Joerrito and the Kaotic. Decisions, decisions. Spices are just right and the burritos are really big. With just a zig and a zag over from their location we have our food in no time. Pretty soon it will be much warmer outside so I will hop on over there to check out their smoothies too. Check it out- reasonable prices, fantastic people and great food!!“

“It was my very first time coming here and the food was pretty good but they were all sold out of beef ribs and kalbi:( I ordered the steak and chicken plate and it also came with Mac salad and rice which was so good. I also ordered a Macsabi and that was really good too. The space was pretty small but exceptional. The customer service was OUT OF THIS WORLD SPECTACULAR! My servers name was Jaime and she was very pretty and polite and guided me through the menu! There were also two other young ladies that was helping me and making sure I was enjoying myself! Shoutout to those three wonderful young ladies, you guys are doing great keep up the good work! I will be visiting here again to try something new!“

“This is my 4th time there. Rice was a little hard/stale today, which is the first time I had that happen, but I typically don't have a problem with the food. Otherwise the service is great, I usually don't have to wait at all. The staff is friendly and patient. Not much foot traffic, but if you're in a rush that's a boon.“

“So I live in southern highlands but have never been to this place. I wasn’t expecting much especially since I ordered through uber and the prices were kinda ridiculous. Anyway I got the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu combo. The teriyaki chicken was better than you standard Ohana, L&L, and makai grill. Most of the time you get deboned thigh that tastes boiled and tossed on the grill to heat up. This was actually grilled. The katsu was a nice light breading with nice big pieces of chicken not pounded out thin chicken with all breading. Full disclosure the Mac salad was mediocre. It’s sad cause it’s so simple to make. Seems like they didn’t use Apple cider vinegar or maybe they cheaped out on best foods mayo? Worth it though. Only thing I would add is toss a shoyu packet in“

“My barber recommended this place since I had to hit the outlets for some shoes. Typically I wouldn’t come out this way for food living in Summerlin but since I was in the area and craving something I hadn’t tried before I stopped in.

Vibes were great, it was quiet, could have a conversation. The guy that took my order guided me through making my bowl. Ended up going with a poke bowl, greens since the doctor says I gotta avoid the carbs and I got the spicy mayo and shoyu tuna. Both were amazing and the greens were super fresh. Definitely will have to make a trip back out here.“

“This is our go-to spot for Hawaiian BBQ. It’s a family favorite! We always order the Hawaiian BBQ chicken and Hawaiian BBQ beef, and they never disappoint. The plates come loaded with two scoops of rice, cabbage, and macaroni salad…simple, satisfying, and so good.

What I really appreciate is the consistency. Every time I place a phone order, it’s ready in 10 minutes like clockwork. Friendly service, great portions, and reliable flavor. What more can you ask for?

It was hot and ready at my pick-up time. They wheeled it out to my car, included sauces, gave us a free treat, and asked about plates, napkins, forks, and knives. They are also very generous with the food compared to other places and they have gone above and beyond by taking our order 15 minutes before closing so I do appreciated that very much. “We came here cause my uncle visiting from Hawaii was craving local saimin… he said tasted the same kine like Hawaii— which is a compliment haha. The BBQ mix plates.. tasted the same too like Hawaii haha. The chicken and Terri beef was on the dry side but still satisfied our taste buds. The kalbi was Ono and I loved the Mac salad.

What I don’t care for is the customer service which wasn’t bad.. but it’s not so much aloha spirit. I can understand if they were having a bad day or just tired.. but I would have appreciated a smile. But after been living here for 3 months.. I noticed a lot of locals adapt to the LV spirit of being lukewarm or not very welcoming. Though of course we will return cause we will always crave local food!

“Haven't been to a Zippys in around 30 years when I lived in Hawaii. Was NOT disappointed by this experience. Fried chicken was just Ono and Korean Chicken and Chili was great. My hostess/server (I believe her name was Renamae) gave great fast and friendly service. It is a bit of walk to get to using the bus system here in Las Vegas but was worth it. Also Friday has great specials - I had the Vegas Pac which has a little bit of everything great from Zippys.“
