“This is a SALVADORIAN Restaurant, food from the Central American country of El Salvador. I have been coming to eat here since I moved to Las Vegas in the mid 1990's.Yes, the tipical breakfast with fried platano, black beans, sour cream & hard cheese is amazing. The pupusas are from 3 to 5 dollars depending of the fillings like melted cheese, chicken, beans, pork, shrimp, or loroco. The red sauce that they bring, does have a kick (a bit spicy). For the pupusa, they will serve you pickled veggies, it is cabbage, carrots and flavor spices. They call the cabbage CURTIDO, it's a bit like sour kraut, and I loved it.If you want an unforgettably delicious steak, order "Bistek de Res", it has a side of rice, beans and salad. They have the HORCHATA recipe from El Salvador. The horchata has toasted & crushed cocoa beans, morro seed, sugar, sesame seeds, peanuts, rice, coriander seeds, vanilla, & a pinch of cinnamon. Have in mind that it's NOT Mexican Horchata. They have gasiosa (soda from El Salvador). They do offer a little bit of Mexican dishes. I recommend you have the cheesy pupusas, because you can find tacos on every other corner in town. The line can go out the door some time, and people don't mind the wait. If it's so busy that there are no seat available, you might wait about an hour for your food. The wait staff will be stressed and not friendly. Don't take it personally, ask for an application and get hired. Please, show them how it's done. Lead by example.I highly recommend this place. I only eat here about 4 times a year. Many of my friends are white, not Hispanic like me. We always end up in some taco place?. This is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas.?❤Vegetarian options: Yes, they have at least 2 vegetarian dishes.Parking: They share the hotel's parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps. They have front bouble doors.“

“Stopped here after my eye appt. Lucky I'm here at 6pm. They close at 7pm. It's a small restaurant and mini mart located in the corner of a small strip mall. It's disinfected as I can smell the bleach. I have to try their pupusas. I ordered the pork, the chicken and the loroco. I few minutes later, my order arrived with a bowl of curtido and ketchup bottle with the tomato sauce. I forgot I ordered their horchata, too. The pupusas are big. About 4 inches in diameter. I started with the chicken pupusa and prepped it with curtido on top, and smothered it with the tomato sauce. Wow. First bite was yummy. So fresh. I was full after the first one. I washed it down with the horchata. Now their horchata is different. It's darker in color and has more flavor. Sweet, cinnamon and other spices I can't tell. I decided to try the loroco...it's very good, too. I can't believe I finished it. I'm so full, I'm not sure I can drive home. I'll have to take the third pupusa to go. The pupusas deserve five stars.“

Pupusas Food Truck Salvadoran • $
1765 E Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas

“Sunday lunch calls for some yummy pupusas. I drove out of the way for this local food truck on the corner of Charleston and Bruce, east of the strip. Lot's of road construction. So be prepared for traffic. The little pupusa truck is literally on the corner of a yellow-colored autoshop. It was 98 degrees out and probably the reason why there was no line. I splurge and got 5 pupusas...Lorocco pupusa, Zucchini pupusa, Spinach pupusa, Cilantro pupusa and Jalapeño pupusa. Each costs $2.00. 5 pupusas for $10.00 is a great deal. I5 minutes later, the order was ready. Make sure to ask for extra cabbage and red sauce. Once home, I got a plate and prepped the jalapeño pupusa with cabbage and sauce. Umm, umm, good. Fresh and hot out of the aluminum foil. Can't wait to try the others for dinner tonight.“

“Hey I'm not sure about the other reviews but as of today during the holiday season I was treated very warmly from a young man sitting in front waiting for customers. He had the biggest smile and there was a lady cooking by hand made fresh to order some of the best papusas I have had. Not only that, but she graciously accommodated me for my mistake of not bringing my physical card. She allowed me another option in good faith. I also was pleasantly surprised and grateful for the extra papusa I have received. Honestly I was hungry and wanted that extra one but couldn't afford it. This place is in the cut quite literally but they have 2 locations that I cannot wait to continue to come back to. Please come and support them have specials too.“

“This place was incredible and had authentic Nicaraguense food. There was a business meeting when I was there and hearing all the issue between the owner and the marketing guy I think was a turn off, but the meal was good. It would have been a better experience without the chatter, but I still enjoyed my meal. Authentic gallopinto, the maduro was large and the fried cheese was bomb. Keep up the good work and if you guys have business meetings inside make sure there are no clients. I would def return since the food was good. I like that the meal came with a free cup of coffee, But it tasted burnt. Maybe it was left on for a longer period of time. The ensalada drink was fire. I’ve never had one that taste that good. The fruit was delicious.“

“Hidden Gem! Awesome, delicious, inexpensive (~$3/each) pupusas. Staff is super friendly, food is great, and they have beer. Great bang-for-your-buck!They also have some specialty import cheeses, frozen tropical fruit (mamey!), and pickles.Highly recommendVegetarian options: The pupusas are made to order. Vegetarian options are: beans, cheese, loroco (Salvadorian green, kinda like mustard greens) in any combo. The pupusas are basically wrappers for the curtido, the fermented pickled cabbage/jalapeno/carrot you pile on top. Probably not great for very strict vegans, but workable if you just don't want meat as the main“

Pupusas Revueltas

“We came to try this spot on the east side of las vegas because I was told they had good food , I decided to try the mole enchiladas and my daughter ordered the salsa verde enchiladas, we were seved a little bowl of chips about a handful and a little bit of salsa ...my daughter finished and the server never asked if she wanted some more and than after a while our food finally came which we didn't mind the wait because it came fresh and hot however the mole didn't have any flavor of sweetness or spice it honestly just tasted like red sauce but the green ones had lots of flavor I didn't eat mine but I did eat my rice and beans which were really good ! They had lots of flavor ? I would think as a server , if you seen the person didn't eat their food something was wrong but she never asked or offered anything else, I still tipped her but we won't be going back ?“
